The Beaumont Solo is a government-stamped counter spirit measure designed for licensed bars, pubs, and hospitality venues where accurate, consistent 25ml pours are a legal and operational requirement. It fits to a standard bottle neck and dispenses a measured single shot with each pull, incorporating a non-drip mechanism to keep the bar clean during service.

The integrated counter is a practical feature for busy services — it tracks the number of measures dispensed directly from the unit, which helps with stock reconciliation and cellar management without the need for separate tally sheets. The black finish suits darker bar aesthetics and helps the measure blend with premium back-bar presentations.

  • Government stamped to 25ml for compliance on licensed premises
  • Non-drip mechanism reduces wastage and keeps surfaces clean
  • Integrated counter supports stock control and pour tracking
  • Lightweight plastic construction suited to high-frequency daily use
  • Standard bottle fitting for straightforward changeovers between bottles

This is a straightforward, well-proven optic measure suited to most bar environments. It works well for sites that need a reliable, compliant measure without added complexity. Venues requiring 35ml singles or dual-measure optics should check that this unit matches their licensing conditions before ordering.

If you are equipping a full bar or have questions about compliance requirements for your premises, our team is happy to help you work through the right specification.

Frequently asked questions

Is this measure compliant for use on licensed premises in the UK?

Yes, the Beaumont Solo is government stamped to 25ml, which is the standard single spirit measure required under UK licensing and weights and measures legislation. If your licence specifies a different measure size, such as 35ml, you would need to source the appropriate stamped unit instead.

How does the integrated counter work and is it useful for stock control?

The counter increments with each measure dispensed, giving bar staff and managers a running total of shots poured from that bottle. It is a practical aid for cellar reconciliation and can help identify discrepancies between measures poured and stock consumed, particularly in high-volume venues.

Is this suitable for a high-volume bar dispensing large numbers of spirits each service?

The Solo is well suited to regular commercial bar use and handles the demands of typical pub and restaurant service. For very high-volume operations running multiple bottles of the same spirit simultaneously, having spare units on hand allows for fast bottle changeovers without interrupting service.
