Libbey make the Embassy range from a single piece of soda lime glass, which removes the weak joint where stem, foot and bowl typically meet on traditionally constructed stemware. The one-piece construction gives the glass meaningfully better resistance to the knocks of everyday commercial service.

The 160ml is sized for neat spirit serves and short pours rather than large balloon presentations, and weighs 140g per glass. The 270ml is a balloon glass for brandy, cognac and aged spirits, with a bowl shape that supports nosing, and weighs 200g per glass. Both are compatible with standard commercial glasswashers and glass racks.

These glasses suit wine bars, hotel bars, cocktail bars, gastropubs and restaurants with a considered spirits selection.
