Lincat Hot Cupboards

The Lincat P8P4 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed to hold plated meals and warmed crockery at service temperature. Mounted on four heavy-duty castors, it can be repositioned within a kitchen, moved to a servery, or wheeled through to a function room as service demands shift. Double sliding doors and two height-adjustable internal shelves allow the interior to be configured around different plate sizes and service styles.

Where the Panther differs from passively heated alternatives is its fan-assisted heat circulation. The fan distributes warmth evenly across all shelf levels, which becomes noticeable when the unit is fully loaded during a busy service and the doors are being opened repeatedly. Temperature consistency is more reliable under those conditions, and recovery after door opening is quicker than in convection-only units.

In practical terms, the unit earns its keep wherever flexibility is part of the workflow — hotels managing banqueting service, restaurants covering multiple dining areas, or any operation where plated food needs to be held at more than one point during a sitting.

• Fan-assisted circulation maintains even heat distribution across all shelf positions
• Height-adjustable shelves accommodate varying plate and dish sizes
• Double sliding doors allow rapid access with minimal heat loss during service
• Heavy-duty castors enable repositioning between service points or function spaces
• Robust construction suited to regular daily use in a commercial environment

The unit is electrically powered, so a suitable outlet is needed wherever it will be stationed. Because it moves around, it is worth checking cable reach against your intended positions before settling on a final location — a straightforward consideration that is easy to miss until installation day.

The P8P4 is well matched to mid-volume restaurant and hospitality operations. For high-volume banqueting or production kitchens with greater holding demands, a larger-capacity model may be worth considering. If you are unsure whether this unit suits your service volumes or layout, we are happy to talk it through.

The Lincat P8B5 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard that combines an enclosed heated storage compartment below with a thermostatically controlled bain marie top. The bain marie section operates in either wet or dry mode, giving operators the flexibility to hold different food types across varying service lengths. A drain-down facility is built in, which simplifies post-service cleaning. The lower cupboard accommodates plated meals or clean plates on two height-adjustable shelves, making it a practical self-contained unit for holding food ready for service.

Fan-assisted heat distribution helps maintain consistent temperatures throughout the interior — an important consideration in environments where the doors are opened repeatedly during a busy service. Compared with static heat alone, fan circulation supports more reliable recovery after each door opening and reduces the risk of cold spots developing during extended holds.

Key operational advantages include:

• Wet or dry bain marie operation to suit different holding requirements
• Fan-assisted circulation for even heat distribution throughout the cabinet
• Heavy-duty castors for repositioning between prep, service, and storage areas
• Built-in drain-down facility for straightforward post-service cleaning
• Adjustable internal shelving to suit different plate and container sizes

Mobility is the defining characteristic of the P8B5. It is well suited to restaurants running table service, banqueting operations, staff canteens, and any setting where the service layout changes between meal periods or the unit needs to move between areas. Operators running a fixed counter or pass-through arrangement may find a static built-in unit a better fit for their workflow. Where higher holding volumes are needed, or a longer run of GN positions is required across a service, a larger static hot holding unit is worth considering.

If you would like to talk through whether the P8B5 fits your service layout and holding requirements, the team is happy to have that conversation before you commit.

The Lincat Panther P8P5PT is a mobile hot cupboard built for commercial service environments where plate temperature consistency and flexible access at the pass are genuine operational requirements. The unit runs on castors, which means it can be repositioned between services or moved to suit different room layouts — a practical advantage for hotel banqueting, contract catering, and any site where the service configuration changes from one event to the next.

The fan-assisted heating system circulates warm air through the cabinet rather than relying on a static element. This helps to even out temperature distribution across the load, which matters during a busy service when plates are stacked at varying heights or the cabinet is being opened and closed repeatedly. The pass-through sliding doors on both sides allow kitchen staff and front-of-house to access the unit simultaneously, removing the bottleneck that forms at the pass when there is only one access point.

Key operational advantages include:

• Pass-through sliding doors on both sides for simultaneous dual-side access
• Fan-assisted heating reduces hot and cold spots across the cabinet
• Heavy-duty castors allow repositioning between services without lifting
• Height-adjustable internal shelving accommodates different plate sizes
• Robust construction suited to regular, high-frequency commercial use

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotel operations, and contract caterers where a mobile holding solution is preferable to a fixed installation. It works effectively at a pass or within a servery, though a suitable power supply needs to be accessible wherever it is deployed. For operations with significantly higher throughput demands, a larger-capacity unit may be a better fit.

If you'd like to talk through whether this model suits your service layout or expected volume, the team is happy to advise before you commit.

The Lincat P6B3 Panther is a slimline, mobile hot cupboard with a bain marie top, designed for plated meal holding and plate warming at the pass or in banqueting service areas. It runs on four heavy-duty castors, allowing it to be repositioned between service points without the constraints of a fixed installation — a practical advantage in venues where the same equipment moves between function spaces or covers changes from service to service.

Inside the cabinet, fan-assisted heat circulation promotes even temperature distribution across both shelf levels. In practice, this matters when doors are being opened repeatedly throughout a busy service — passive heat tends to stratify or recover slowly, while the fan helps maintain more consistent conditions throughout. The bain marie top operates wet or dry under thermostatic control, making it adaptable to different holding tasks across the menu. A drain-down facility on the top simplifies clean-down at the end of service, which is a small but worthwhile operational consideration over units where draining is awkward.

For day-to-day operation, the key practical advantages include:

• Mobile on castors — repositionable without disconnecting from supply
• Slimline footprint suits restricted pass areas where depth is limited
• Wet or dry bain marie operation adapts to different holding requirements
• Fan-assisted circulation reduces uneven temperatures during repeated door opening
• Drain-down facility simplifies bain marie clean-down after service

The P6B3 is mains electric and requires no fixed gas or plumbing connection. If you intend to run the bain marie wet, a nearby water source for filling is useful, and you will need a suitable drainage point or vessel for clean-down. It is worth thinking through your pass layout carefully — specifically where the castors will sit during service and how they will be locked to prevent unwanted movement on a busy floor.

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and function venues where plated meal holding is a regular part of service and the ability to reposition the equipment adds genuine operational value. For sites holding very high covers simultaneously or running extended service periods, it is worth considering whether a wider or higher-capacity unit would better match the demand.

If you would like to talk through whether the P6B3 suits your pass layout, service style, or volume requirements, the team are happy to have that conversation before you commit.

The Lincat P6P2 Panther is a slimline mobile hot cupboard built for plate and food holding during commercial service. Its reduced depth is a practical response to one of the more common constraints in working kitchens — limited space at the pass or in service corridors — and it does this without meaningfully compromising holding capacity for most operations. Four heavy-duty castors allow the unit to be repositioned between a kitchen pass, a service corridor, a banqueting suite, or a temporary service point as the day demands, giving it a degree of operational flexibility that a fixed-position unit simply cannot offer.

Fan-assisted heat circulation distributes warmth evenly across the cabinet interior. This matters during sustained service, when doors are being opened and closed repeatedly — static-heat units can develop cold spots under those conditions, whereas the fan assists in recovering and maintaining a consistent temperature across shelf levels. Two height-adjustable internal shelves can be reconfigured to suit different plate sizes or food container depths, and double sliding doors on each side allow two-way access without causing significant heat loss at the busiest moments.

For kitchen teams, the day-to-day operational advantages include:

• Mobile on castors — repositions between service areas without tools or effort
• Fan-assisted circulation reduces temperature variation during high door-open frequency
• Adjustable shelving adapts to different plate sizes and container depths
• Double sliding doors on both sides support fast, two-person access
• Slimline depth suits tight passes, function suites, and event catering setups

Being a mobile unit, the P6P2 requires an accessible electrical supply at each point of use, which is worth confirming before purchase if the unit will move between multiple locations. Operators running very high simultaneous plate counts through a fixed pass may find a larger or static unit a better fit for that workflow; this model is strongest where flexibility and space efficiency are genuine priorities rather than afterthoughts.

The P6P2 is well suited to restaurants, hotels, banqueting operations, and event catering teams where the ability to move equipment between service areas has real operational value. It also works effectively as a supplementary unit alongside a fixed hot cupboard line during high-demand covers or seasonal peaks.

If you would like to talk through whether this unit matches your typical service volumes or available space, the team is happy to work through it with you before you decide.

The Lincat P8B4 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard with a thermostatically controlled bain marie top that can be operated wet or dry depending on your service requirements. Beneath the top, an insulated fan-assisted cabinet provides holding space for plated meals and clean plates, with two height-adjustable internal shelves accessible through double sliding doors. The fan circulation distributes warmth evenly throughout the cabinet, reducing the risk of cold spots during a long or busy service.

In practice, the Panther is most commonly used to hold finished plates at consistent temperature while the pass works through covers, or to stage plated meals ahead of a banqueting run. The bain marie top accepts GN pans for holding sauces, garnishes, or portioned items alongside the main plates, keeping everything within reach at the point of service. Being mobile, the unit can be positioned where it is needed and moved clear when the floor space is required for something else — a practical advantage in kitchens that change function between service periods.

• Wet or dry bain marie operation gives flexibility across different menu types
• Fan-assisted cabinet maintains even temperature throughout the holding space
• Adjustable internal shelves accommodate different plate sizes and stack heights
• Drain-down facility makes end-of-service cleaning straightforward
• Heavy-duty castors allow repositioning without disrupting service flow

Because the unit is mobile rather than fixed, no plumbing connections are required — the bain marie is filled manually. A suitable mains electrical supply needs to be accessible in the area where the unit will operate. It is worth checking the footprint against your pass or service area before ordering, particularly in tighter kitchen layouts.

The P8B4 is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and event catering operations running plated meal service at mid-volume. For larger banqueting operations, contract catering at scale, or sites with very high simultaneous cover counts, it is worth considering whether a higher-capacity unit would be a better fit.

If you would like to talk through whether this model suits your service style and volume, our team is happy to help before you commit.

The Lincat P6B2 Panther is a slimline mobile hot cupboard with a bain marie top, designed to hold plated food and keep plates warm during the gap between kitchen preparation and table service. It runs from a standard electrical supply and sits on four heavy-duty castors, making it straightforward to position wherever it is most useful — at the pass, in a service corridor, or moved between sections during a busy event or function.

In service, this unit earns its place during the critical window between plating and the food reaching the guest. The thermostatically controlled bain marie top accepts GN pans and can be run wet or dry depending on what is being held, giving a useful degree of flexibility across different menus and service styles. Fan-assisted heat circulation distributes warmth evenly through the cabinet interior, reducing the risk of cold spots that can affect consistency when holding across a full run of covers. The slimline depth is a practical advantage for venues where pass space is limited — older buildings and converted dining spaces in particular often present tighter constraints than a purpose-built commercial kitchen.

Key operational advantages include:

• Slimline footprint suits narrow pass positions and tight service corridors
• Castors allow repositioning between service periods or events without effort
• Double sliding doors provide access from either side without disrupting workflow
• Bain marie top with drain-down for straightforward cleaning between services
• Height-adjustable internal shelves accommodate plates and plated meals

Because the unit runs from a standard electrical socket, no significant installation work is required. It is worth confirming the socket rating and ensuring the supply circuit is appropriate before settling on a permanent position. The mobility of the unit can encourage ad hoc placement, but a planned home position with a dedicated socket will serve better in service than relying on extension leads or shared circuits.

The P6B2 is well suited to restaurants, hotel dining operations, and events or banqueting kitchens where flexible holding capacity is needed across a small to mid-sized covers run. For higher-volume operations or sites that need extended holding across multiple sections simultaneously, a larger-capacity model may be worth considering. Where a bain marie top is not a requirement for the dishes being served, a dry-hold alternative may represent better value for the specific application.

If you are weighing up whether this model suits your service style, kitchen layout, or expected covers volume, the team is happy to talk through the options with you.

The Lincat P6P3 Panther Slim is a mobile hot cupboard designed to hold plated meals and warm plates at service temperature. Its reduced depth distinguishes it from standard-depth units, making it a practical choice for tighter service corridors, narrow pass areas, and function rooms where a full-depth cabinet would obstruct staff movement or create a flow problem. The castored base means the unit can be repositioned as service requirements change, rather than committing to a fixed location.

Fan-assisted heat circulation distributes warmth evenly throughout the interior, which becomes particularly important during extended service when the doors are opened and closed repeatedly. Without consistent air movement, temperature variation between shelf levels can lead to unevenness at the pass — something that affects plated service quality in any busy operation. Two height-adjustable internal shelves offer flexibility around different plate sizes or service configurations, and the sliding door design allows quick access without doors swinging into adjacent staff or equipment.

The key operational advantages this unit offers are:

• Mobile on castors — can be repositioned between service areas or function rooms
• Slimline footprint reduces the impact on pass space and service corridors
• Fan-assisted circulation keeps temperatures consistent across both shelf levels
• Sliding doors give clean access without encroaching on adjacent workspace
• No fixed installation required, making it straightforward to redeploy

The unit requires a standard mains electrical connection. As it is mobile rather than fixed, no hard installation is needed, but it is worth checking floor surfaces, thresholds, and any ramps before placing it in service. It is also worth noting that this is a holding unit, not a cook-and-hold cabinet — food should reach the correct temperature before loading, as the P6P3 is designed to maintain temperature rather than raise it.

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and function caterers with moderate cover volumes who need reliable, flexible hot holding without a permanent fixture. For larger banqueting operations or central production kitchens with higher throughput demands, a heavier-duty model from the broader range may be a better fit.

If you would like to talk through whether this unit suits your service setup or how it works alongside existing pass equipment, the team is happy to help.

The Lincat PLH36 Panther is a floor-standing, static electric hot cupboard designed to warm crockery and hold plated meals at service temperature. It is a plain-top unit with no heated gantry or pass-through configuration — straightforward holding duty at the pass or in a back-of-house service area. Lincat has a long-established reputation in UK commercial catering, and the Panther range is among their most consistently specified hot cupboard lines for mid-volume operations.

In a working kitchen, the Panther holds up reliably across a full service. The fully insulated cabinet construction maintains an even internal temperature without significant heat loss — useful when plates are being pulled at pace through a long lunch or dinner sitting. The adjustable thermostat gives the kitchen team practical control, whether the unit is being used for plate warming earlier in the day or light meal holding during service. Three internal shelves provide a sensible working capacity, and the side-hinged door keeps access clear without obstructing the pass.

From an operational standpoint, the main practical advantages are:

• Consistent plate temperatures maintained from the first cover to the last
• Insulated construction helps keep energy running costs in check
• Adjustable feet allow the unit to sit level on uneven kitchen floors
• Plain top surface provides a useful staging area at the pass
• Thermostat adjustable to suit both plate warming and food holding duties

Installation is uncomplicated. There is no gas supply, no water connection, and no significant ventilation requirement. It does need a suitable electrical supply, and it is worth checking the footprint against your available pass or service area before ordering — particularly in tighter kitchen layouts where floor space is already committed.

The PLH36 is well suited to restaurants, pub kitchens, hotel dining rooms, and function catering venues running regular daily service at moderate cover volumes. For busier sites running extended services or larger covers, a higher-capacity model may be worth considering. Equally, smaller operations may find a more compact unit is sufficient without committing unnecessary floor space.

If you want to talk through whether this unit fits your service pattern or compare it against others in the range, we are happy to help you work it through before you commit.

The Lincat P8B6PT Panther is a mobile hot cupboard with a thermostatically controlled bain marie top, combining hot holding and pan-based food service capability in a single freestanding unit. It is designed for commercial kitchens and servery operations where flexibility during service matters as much as consistent food holding performance. The bain marie section can be operated wet or dry depending on the service style, and a built-in drain-down facility simplifies end-of-service cleaning.

Fan-assisted heat circulation within the cabinet helps maintain a steady, even temperature throughout the interior during extended holding periods, reducing the risk of cold spots developing in stored food. Pass-through double sliding doors on both sides allow access from either direction, which suits counter configurations or island layouts where kitchen and front-of-house teams need simultaneous access without getting in each other's way. Two height-adjustable internal shelves add practical flexibility for plated meals or plate storage during service.

The main operational advantages of this unit include:

• Pass-through doors allow two-sided access without interrupting service flow
• Fan-assisted circulation keeps holding temperatures consistent throughout the cabinet
• Castors allow the unit to be repositioned between kitchen, servery, and function areas
• Wet or dry bain marie top suits a range of pan-based service styles
• Drain-down facility reduces cleaning time at the close of service

As a mobile unit, no fixed installation is required beyond a mains electrical connection and adequate floor space to manoeuvre safely when the unit is loaded. The bain marie top requires filling and bringing up to temperature ahead of service, so it is worth factoring that lead time into your pre-service routine. It is also sensible to check that your flooring and any internal access routes can handle the unit's weight when fully loaded.

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and function or event catering operations that need combined hot holding and bain marie capability in a flexible, moveable format. It works particularly well where service layouts change between sittings — banqueting, multi-room functions, or operations that rotate between a main kitchen and a separate servery. For sites running very high volumes or extended service periods with heavy pan loads, it is worth considering whether a higher-capacity unit would be a better match for the demand.

If you are unsure whether this unit fits your service setup or want to talk through the options, our team is happy to help before you commit.

The Lincat PLH90 Panther is a floor-standing, plain-top static hot cupboard designed to hold plates and plated meals at the correct service temperature throughout a busy pass. Part of Lincat's well-established Panther range, it is a straightforward, robustly built unit intended for continuous daily use in a commercial kitchen environment.

A hot cupboard at the pass earns its keep by keeping service moving consistently from the first cover to the last. The PLH90's thermostatically controlled interior allows temperature to be set and held reliably, which matters most when service stretches over a long sitting or plate volume builds during a peak period. Full insulation throughout the cabinet helps the unit retain heat without drawing more energy than necessary, which keeps running costs measured across a full service week.

Day-to-day operational advantages include:

• Consistent thermostatic control to suit different plate types and service requirements
• Full insulation supporting stable internal temperatures and a lower energy draw
• Plain top providing a practical working surface at the pass
• Robust construction suited to continuous use across a demanding service schedule
• A straightforward interior that cleans down without difficulty at the end of service

As a static, floor-standing unit, the PLH90 requires a fixed position within the kitchen layout and a mains electrical supply. Adequate clearance around the cabinet is needed for safe daily operation. It is worth confirming available floor space and your pass configuration before ordering, particularly where the pass is already compact.

This model is well suited to restaurants, hotel kitchens, and pub operations running a steady plate volume through service. It sits comfortably in the mid-range of Lincat's hot cupboard offering. Sites handling significantly higher plate throughput, or operations that need mobile hot holding flexibility, may find a higher-capacity or differently configured model better matched to their requirements.

If you would like to talk through whether the PLH90 fits your pass layout and service volumes, the team is happy to help you work it out before you commit.

The Lincat P6P4 Panther is a slimline, mobile hot cupboard designed for holding plated meals and warming plates at consistent serving temperatures. Its reduced depth is the defining characteristic — it fits into tighter service runs and narrow back-of-house corridors where a standard-depth cabinet simply would not. Four heavy-duty castors allow it to be repositioned without disrupting the rest of the kitchen, which is particularly useful in operations where the pass layout shifts between service periods or events.

Heat is distributed by a fan-assisted system, which helps maintain an even temperature throughout the cabinet rather than relying on passive warmth that can leave cooler zones near the door or at lower shelf level. Two height-adjustable internal shelves allow operators to configure the interior around different plate sizes or service formats, and double sliding doors provide access from either side — practical where staff are working around the unit from both directions in a confined space.

The main operational advantages of this unit include:

• Mobile on castors — repositionable between service areas without disconnecting
• Slimline footprint suits tight passes and narrow service corridors
• Fan-assisted heat reduces temperature variation across shelves
• Adjustable shelving adapts to different plate heights and service formats
• Sliding doors remove the need for door-swing clearance in confined spaces

This is a plug-in electric unit with no gas or water requirements, keeping installation straightforward. It should be positioned on a level, stable floor surface given the castor-mounted base. The reduced depth that makes it so practical in tight spaces does mean internal capacity is more limited than a full-depth cabinet — it is worth considering your typical cover count before committing.

The P6P4 is well suited to restaurants, hotel dining, and banqueting operations where plated meals need to be held ahead of service, and it works particularly well as a front-of-pass unit. For sites holding larger quantities across a longer service period, or where mobility is not a priority, a wider or fixed-position cabinet may offer a better match. If you are unsure whether this unit fits your service volume or layout, the team is happy to talk it through before you commit.

The Lincat P6P5 Panther is a slimline, mobile hot cupboard designed to hold plated meals and warm clean plates ahead of service. Its reduced depth makes it a considered choice for operators working with limited pass space or compact servery areas, where a full-depth unit would disrupt flow or simply not fit. The castored base means it is not fixed to one position — it can be moved between service areas, brought closer to the pass at peak times, or rolled clear during quieter periods when floor space is needed elsewhere.

Fan-assisted heat circulation helps maintain a consistent temperature across all shelf levels, which matters when holding a full load of plated meals through a busy service. Static-element units can develop warm and cool spots depending on shelf position; the fan-assisted approach in the P6P5 reduces that risk and helps plates arrive at the pass at a more uniform temperature. Two height-adjustable internal shelves give a degree of flexibility for different plate sizes or stacking arrangements.

• Fan-assisted heating reduces hot and cold spots across shelf levels during service
• Height-adjustable shelves accommodate different plate sizes and stacking configurations
• Double sliding doors allow quick access without encroaching on adjacent workstation space
• Heavy-duty castors allow repositioning between service areas with minimal effort
• Slimline depth suits servery and pass layouts where space is genuinely restricted

As a plug-in electric unit, installation is straightforward — no gas connection or fixed electrical work is typically required, making it practical to position wherever the pass demands. That said, it is worth confirming your available socket provision and ensuring the castors are properly locked during service to keep the unit stable under regular access.

The P6P5 is well suited to small and medium-sized operations — restaurants, hotel serveries, pub kitchens, and function catering where plate volume is manageable and flexibility of placement matters. For operations holding larger quantities across an extended service period, or where a static built-in unit would better suit a fixed pass layout, a higher-capacity alternative may be worth considering.

If you would like to talk through whether this model fits your pass layout or service volume before ordering, the team is happy to help.

The Lincat PLH45 Panther is a floor-standing static hot cupboard built to handle two of the most routine holding tasks in a commercial kitchen: warming plates ahead of service and holding plated meals at safe serving temperatures until they reach the pass. It is a plain-top insulated cabinet with a side-hinged door, three adjustable shelves as standard, and levelling feet to sit steadily on uneven kitchen floors.

Plate temperature is one of those details that quietly affects the quality of every dish that leaves the kitchen. The PLH45 uses thermostatic control to hold a steady, adjustable internal temperature, allowing operators to dial in the right setting for plate warming or gentle meal holding without the risk of over-drying food or cycling the element unnecessarily. The fully insulated construction helps the cabinet retain heat across a full service, which also keeps running costs reasonable over time.

A few practical points are worth considering before installation:

• Static floor-standing unit — no castors fitted as standard, so kitchen layout should be planned accordingly
• Side-hinged door suits positions where access from the front only is available
• Full insulation limits surface heat transfer, which is useful in tighter pass areas
• Three shelves included, adjustable to suit varying plate sizes and holding volumes

The PLH45 is well suited to restaurants, pub kitchens, and hotel operations running a steady daily cover count where reliable plate warming is a routine requirement. It is a static unit, so operators needing mobility around the kitchen, or those running significantly higher volumes, may find a mobile or larger-capacity alternative a better fit for their workflow.

If you would like to talk through how this unit would work within your kitchen layout and service pattern, we are happy to help you decide.

The Lincat PLH60 Panther is a floor-standing, static hot cupboard designed for commercial kitchens where plate warming and food holding are a routine part of every service. It runs on a standard electrical supply with no specialist installation beyond a level surface and sensible positioning relative to the pass, making it straightforward to introduce into most existing kitchen setups.

During service, a hot cupboard has two clear jobs: pre-warming crockery so food arrives at the pass at the right temperature, and holding plated dishes safely while they wait to go out. The PLH60 handles both consistently. The adjustable thermostatic control lets the operator dial in the right holding temperature for the menu — useful where resting meat or sauced dishes need more careful temperature management than basic plate warming alone.

For day-to-day kitchen operation, the PLH60 offers several practical advantages:

• Full insulation supports heat retention across a long service shift, helping to keep running costs in check
• Adjustable thermostat gives operators control to match different menu and service requirements
• Generous plate capacity handles consistent cover volumes without compromise
• Static construction with no moving parts keeps maintenance requirements low
• Plain-top design is easy to clean and free of unnecessary complexity

As a floor-standing static unit, the PLH60 needs a clear, level surface with adequate access for loading and unloading during service. Positioning relative to the pass and the natural flow of plates through the kitchen is worth thinking through carefully at the planning stage — decisions that seem minor early on can have a real effect on service efficiency once covers are moving.

The PLH60 is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and pub kitchens running regular lunch and dinner services where plate volume is consistent and reliable holding is a priority. For very high-volume operations, or where the unit needs to move between service areas, a larger-capacity or mobile holding solution may be worth considering.

If you would like to talk through whether the PLH60 fits your service volumes or kitchen layout, our team is happy to help you think it through before you commit.

The Lincat Panther P8B4PT is a mobile hot cupboard combining a thermostatically controlled bain marie top with a heated cabinet below. It is designed to hold plated meals and maintain plate temperatures during active service, and its four heavy-duty castors mean it can be repositioned between kitchen and servery as the operation demands — a practical arrangement in restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and banqueting kitchens where service points are not always fixed.

The bain marie top operates wet or dry depending on what is being held, and a drain-down facility keeps end-of-service cleaning straightforward. Fan-assisted heat distribution helps maintain an even temperature throughout the cabinet, which matters when holding a full load of plated meals during a busy service. Pass-through sliding doors on both sides allow food to be loaded from the kitchen and collected from the service side without disrupting either team, making the unit well suited to positioning as a pass between two zones.

From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are:

• Mobile on castors — repositions to match changing service layouts without fixed installation
• Pass-through sliding doors on both sides support a clean kitchen-to-service workflow
• Wet or dry bain marie operation gives flexibility across different menu types
• Fan-assisted heating helps maintain consistent temperatures across a full cabinet load
• Height-adjustable internal shelves accommodate plated meals and clean plate storage

The unit runs from a standard electrical supply with no gas or water connection required, though access to a nearby drain is useful when drawing down the bain marie at the end of service. The footprint and loaded weight are worth factoring into servery planning, particularly where floor space is tight or the unit needs to pass through doorways regularly.

This model is well suited to mid-scale restaurants, hotel food and beverage operations, and event catering where a self-contained, mobile holding solution is needed at the pass. For higher-volume banqueting operations or particularly demanding peak services, a heavier-duty unit with greater capacity may be worth considering. Where pass-through functionality is not required, a simpler fixed hot cupboard may represent better value for the application.

If you would like to talk through whether this configuration suits your service layout and holding requirements, the team is happy to work through the detail with you.

The Lincat P8P6 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed to hold plated meals and warmed crockery at service temperature. Mounted on four heavy-duty castors, it can be moved to wherever it is needed — positioned at the pass during a restaurant service, or relocated to a buffet or banqueting point between events. That flexibility makes it a practical choice where service layout changes regularly or where a fixed installation is not feasible.

Fan-assisted heating circulates warm air evenly through the interior, which helps maintain consistent holding temperatures even when the doors are opened repeatedly at pace. During a busy service, where door access is frequent, even heat distribution matters more than many operators initially expect. Two height-adjustable internal shelves allow the interior to be configured for different plate sizes, or to separate plated meals from crockery depending on the service setup.

From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages include:

• Castor-mounted design allows repositioning without disrupting the kitchen layout
• Fan-assisted circulation sustains even temperatures during repeated door openings
• Adjustable shelving accommodates different plate sizes and holding configurations
• Double sliding doors allow access from either side without swinging into staff
• Robust construction suited to regular commercial use across varied service environments

The sliding door arrangement is a genuinely useful detail in tighter service areas — doors do not swing into the pass or obstruct staff movement during service.

Electrical connection is required; the unit should be sited where a suitable supply is accessible and where castor movement will not compromise the cable run. It is not a plumbed unit and requires no water connection.

This model is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and event catering operations that need reliable, flexible hot holding with the ability to reposition between service points. It sits in the mid range of mobile hot cupboard capacity — operations with consistently high cover counts or those requiring fixed, integrated holding may find a larger or static unit better matched to their volume.

If you would like to talk through whether this unit is the right fit for your service setup, the team is happy to have that conversation before you commit to an order.

The Lincat P6B5 Panther is a slimline mobile hot cupboard with a bain marie top, designed for holding plated meals and warming plates during service. Its reduced depth is a deliberate design choice — this is a unit built for service areas and pass configurations where space is a genuine operational constraint, not an afterthought.

During a busy service, consistent holding temperature across the cabinet is what matters most. The P6B5 uses fan-assisted heat distribution to help even out temperature throughout the interior, reducing the risk of cold spots that can compromise plated meal quality when covers are running back to back. The bain marie top operates wet or dry and includes a drain-down facility, which makes end-of-service clean-down noticeably quicker compared to designs without one.

Four heavy-duty castors allow the unit to be repositioned between services, moved for different cover configurations, or pulled clear of the pass for thorough cleaning underneath — a practical advantage in kitchens where the service layout is not fixed. Double sliding doors allow access from both sides, and two height-adjustable internal shelves accommodate different plate sizes and stacking arrangements without modification.

• Mobile on four heavy-duty castors for flexible pass positioning
• Fan-assisted heat distribution reduces cold spots during back-to-back covers
• Bain marie top runs wet or dry with drain-down for faster clean-down
• Double sliding doors allow two-sided access throughout service
• Slimline profile suits tight service areas without reducing holding capacity

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and banqueting kitchens handling mid-volume covers where a mobile, repositionable holding solution adds practical flexibility. For very high-volume operations or wider passes with significantly greater plate turnover, a broader or higher-capacity unit may be worth considering.

If you would like to talk through whether the P6B5 fits your service volume and pass layout, the team is happy to help before you commit.

The Lincat P8P3PT Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed for holding plated meals and warm plates at service temperature. It runs on four heavy-duty castors, making it straightforward to reposition between service areas — a practical arrangement where the serving point changes between covers or where a fixed pass position is not possible.

The pass-through configuration is the most operationally significant feature. Double sliding doors on both sides of the cabinet allow kitchen staff to load from one end while front-of-house retrieve from the other, keeping traffic moving during a rush without the two teams working against each other. Fan-assisted heating distributes warmth evenly through the interior, which helps maintain consistent holding temperatures even when the doors are opened frequently during busy service — a common weakness in still-air units. Two height-adjustable internal shelves allow the unit to be set up around the plate and dish sizes in regular use.

In practical terms, the key operational advantages are:

• Pass-through access from both sides keeps kitchen and floor staff working independently during peak service
• Fan-assisted circulation reduces cold spots caused by repeated door opening
• Adjustable shelving accommodates different plate sizes and cover configurations
• Castors allow repositioning without tools or dismantling between service periods
• Robust build suited to regular use across multiple sittings

Because the unit is mobile rather than fixed, there is no hard installation requirement, but a suitable electrical supply within reach of the intended position is essential. It is worth confirming socket locations and lead reach before settling on placement — particularly in banqueting or function spaces where the unit may operate away from the main kitchen. Allow enough clear floor space on both sides for the sliding doors to operate freely.

This unit is well suited to mid-sized restaurants, hotel food and beverage operations, and event or banqueting catering where service flexibility matters. For very high-volume operations or extended holding runs across large banqueting covers, a larger-capacity unit may be a better match. If you are unsure whether this model fits your service volumes or layout, we are glad to talk it through with you.

The Lincat Panther P8B5PT is a mobile hot cupboard combining a thermostatically controlled bain marie top with a fan-assisted heated cabinet below. It is designed for operations that need reliable food holding capacity, consistent temperatures, and the ability to reposition the unit between preparation and service without the constraints of a fixed installation.

The pass-through door arrangement is where this unit demonstrates its practical value in a working kitchen. Double sliding doors on both faces allow kitchen staff to load from the rear while front-of-house collects from the service side, supporting a clean and orderly flow during peak covers without staff crossing paths at the pass. The bain marie top accepts full-size gastronorm containers and can be operated wet or dry depending on the menu format, giving operators useful flexibility across different service styles.

Operational advantages that are worth noting in day-to-day use:

• Pass-through doors support one-directional service flow and reduce cross-traffic at the pass
• Wet or dry bain marie top adapts to different menu and service formats
• Fan-assisted heating distributes warmth evenly throughout the cabinet interior
• Mobile castors allow repositioning between preparation and service without fixed pipework
• Adjustable internal shelving accommodates plated meals and warm plate storage

Because the unit runs on electricity and sits on castors, installation is relatively straightforward. Running the bain marie in dry mode requires only a suitable electrical supply. If operating it wet, you will need a water feed nearby and easy access to the drain-down point at the end of service, so it is worth confirming pipework proximity before settling on a permanent position. Floor surface and door clearances are also worth checking in tighter layouts. The unit is intended for indoor commercial use only.

The P8B5PT is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and contract catering operations serving plated meals at volume where a clear separation between kitchen and service sides is an operational requirement. The mobile format is a genuine advantage in kitchens where space needs to flex across the day. For very high-volume sites, or where a permanent fixed installation would better suit the workflow, it is worth considering heavier-duty alternatives before committing.

If you would like to talk through how this unit fits your service volumes, layout, and existing equipment, the team is happy to work through the details with you before you decide.

The Lincat P8B3PT Panther is a mobile hot cupboard that combines a thermostatically controlled bain marie top with an insulated holding cupboard below. The two elements work together to handle both plated meal holding and wet or dry bain marie service from a single, repositionable unit — a practical arrangement for operations where the service point is not always fixed.

During service, consistent holding temperature matters more than peak heat output. The fan-assisted interior circulates heat evenly throughout the cupboard, reducing the risk of hot and cold spots that can affect food quality during extended holds. The bain marie top accommodates multiple gastronorm pans and can be run wet or dry depending on what is being held. A drain-down facility keeps end-of-service cleaning straightforward rather than messy. Pass-through sliding doors on both sides of the unit mean kitchen staff can load from the back while service staff collect from the front, which keeps movement organised in busier or more compact service areas.

Features that support day-to-day service include:

• Pass-through sliding doors on both sides for organised, two-way service flow
• Fan-assisted interior for even heat distribution throughout the cupboard
• Wet or dry bain marie top with drain-down for straightforward cleaning
• Height-adjustable internal shelves for flexible plate and dish storage
• Heavy-duty locking castors for secure positioning during service

Because the unit is mobile, no fixed installation is required, but an appropriate electrical supply must be available at each point of use. Before settling on a position, it is worth checking overhead clearance — the bain marie top adds to the overall height, and this can catch operators out in lower-ceilinged service areas. If the unit needs to travel between rooms or floors, doorway widths and floor surfaces are worth considering, particularly in older buildings with narrower service corridors.

The P8B3PT suits restaurants, hotels, and function catering operations where plated meal holding and positional flexibility both matter. It is particularly well used in banqueting and event settings where the service layout changes between functions. Operations with very high throughput, or those preferring a permanent fixed installation, may find a heavier-duty static unit more appropriate. Smaller sites with modest holding requirements might be equally well served by a simpler single-sided model.

The Lincat P8B3 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard with a bain marie top, built for commercial kitchens that need reliable hot holding at the pass or in a front-of-house service area. The cabinet and bain marie work together as a single unit, giving operators a practical holding solution that can be positioned where service demands it rather than being fixed in one spot.

Fan-assisted heat circulation distributes warmth evenly throughout the cabinet interior, avoiding the cold spots that can develop with radiant-only systems during longer service periods. The bain marie top can be operated wet or dry depending on what the menu requires, and a drain-down facility makes end-of-service cleaning straightforward rather than a chore. Two height-adjustable internal shelves allow the cabinet space to be configured for plated meals, GN pans, or covers depending on how the service is set up.

• Fan-assisted air circulation for consistent holding temperatures throughout the cabinet
• Bain marie top operates wet or dry to suit different menu requirements
• Four castors allow the unit to be repositioned between kitchen and service areas
• Double sliding doors allow quick access with minimal heat loss during service
• Drain-down facility simplifies daily cleaning and end-of-service maintenance

As a mobile unit, the P8B3 does not require a fixed installation, but it does need access to a suitable power supply wherever it is positioned. It is worth checking socket location and cable reach in your intended service area before committing to a position. For operations where a permanently sited unit is more practical, a countertop or built-in alternative may be worth considering instead.

The P8B3 is well suited to restaurants, hotel dining operations, and banqueting kitchens running mid-scale covers that need dependable hot holding at the pass. Sites with significantly higher throughput may find a larger-capacity model more appropriate, while smaller operations with simpler holding requirements might be better served by a more compact unit.

If you are unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your service setup, the team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Lincat P8B6 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard with a thermostatically controlled bain marie top, operable in either wet or dry mode. Designed for food holding through service, it combines a heated cabinet interior with a flexible bain marie surface, allowing operators to hold plated meals inside while keeping pans or component dishes at temperature on top — all from a single unit that can be wheeled to wherever it is needed.

During a busy service, fan-assisted heat distribution within the cabinet helps maintain a consistent holding temperature even as the sliding doors are opened and closed repeatedly. In practice, uneven cabinet heat is a common reason food quality deteriorates late into a sitting, so the fan assistance is worth more than it might appear on a specification sheet. The bain marie top accepts a range of GN configurations, making it straightforward to hold multiple dishes or components simultaneously.

Practical features that support day-to-day service:

• Wet or dry bain marie top with thermostat for precise temperature control
• Fan-assisted cabinet ensuring even heat distribution throughout service
• Two height-adjustable internal shelves for plates or plated meals
• Double sliding doors for quick, low-disruption access at the pass
• Heavy-duty castors for repositioning between service areas or events

Being mobile, the unit requires a suitable power supply at each location it occupies, so cable routing and socket positions are worth resolving before settling on a final placement. If the bain marie top is to be used in wet mode, a water supply connection and a clear route for drain-down will also need to be factored in.

The P8B6 Panther is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and banqueting operations where holding plated meals and hot pans at the pass is a regular requirement — particularly on sites where the servery layout shifts between services or events. For operations with significantly higher throughput, or where a permanent built-in installation is preferred, a larger fixed unit is likely the more appropriate choice.

The Lincat P8P4PT Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed for commercial service kitchens where consistent plate temperature and flexible positioning both matter. It runs on castors, features sliding doors on both sides for pass-through access, and uses fan-assisted heat distribution to maintain an even temperature across the interior — reducing the cold spots that passive heat alone can leave, particularly at lower shelf positions during a busy service.

In practice, the pass-through arrangement works best when the unit sits at or near the pass between kitchen and front-of-house. Kitchen staff load plates from one side; service staff retrieve from the other. That separation keeps traffic at the pass cleaner and reduces the crossing of paths that slows service during peak covers. Fan-assisted circulation means plates drawn from any shelf should be in consistent condition when they reach the table.

Key operational advantages include:

• Pass-through sliding doors on both sides for efficient loading and retrieval without staff crossing
• Fan-assisted heating distributes warmth evenly across all shelf positions
• Adjustable shelving to accommodate plates and plated dishes of varying heights
• Heavy-duty castors allow repositioning between service areas or back to storage
• Robust construction suited to the routine demands of a working commercial kitchen

As a mobile unit, the P8P4PT requires a suitable mains electrical supply positioned accessibly within the service area. It needs adequate clear floor space for both sets of sliding doors to open fully during service, and it is worth checking doorway widths and floor surfaces if the unit needs to move through tight passages between areas. No gas or water connection is required.

This model suits mid-sized restaurants, hotel food and beverage operations, and event or banqueting kitchens that need reliable mobile plate-holding capacity with the workflow benefit of a pass-through layout. For very high-volume operations running extended service periods with larger brigade sizes, a higher-capacity model may be worth considering.

If you would like to talk through how this unit would fit your pass layout or service pattern before placing an order, the team is happy to help.

The Lincat P8P3 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed for commercial food service operations where plated meals and crockery need to be held at a consistent temperature and moved between areas as service demands shift. Mounted on four heavy-duty castors, it can be repositioned within a kitchen, moved to a service corridor, or wheeled into a function room without any fixed installation commitment. Double sliding doors provide access from either side, which keeps the pass practical during a busy service.

Fan-assisted heat circulation sets this unit apart from simpler passive hot cupboards. The internal fan distributes warm air evenly throughout the cabinet, reducing the risk of hot spots and helping plates and plated meals hold a stable temperature across all shelf positions. Two height-adjustable internal shelves allow the interior to be configured around different plate sizes or service formats, which is useful when requirements change between services.

In practice, this type of unit performs well in structured, volume-predictable environments. Common applications include restaurants running set menus, hotel dining operations, banqueting kitchens, and events catering where plates need to be ready and held through a defined service window. The mobile format is particularly suited to operations where the hot cupboard needs to move between different areas on different occasions rather than occupy a fixed floor position permanently.

• Fan-assisted circulation distributes heat evenly across all shelf positions
• Four heavy-duty castors allow repositioning within and between service areas
• Double sliding doors give access from either side during service
• Two height-adjustable internal shelves to accommodate different plate sizes
• Robust Lincat build quality suited to regular, heavy commercial use

For operations running very high volumes or extended service periods, it is worth considering whether a larger-capacity model would better match throughput requirements. For smaller operations or those with limited floor space, a countertop or under-counter alternative may be more appropriate.

If you would like to talk through whether this model suits your service style, volume, or available space, the team is happy to work through it with you.

The Lincat P6B4 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard with a slimline profile and a bain marie top, built for operations that need reliable plate and food holding without committing to a fixed installation. The bain marie top can be operated wet or dry and is thermostatically controlled, allowing food to be held at a consistent serving temperature across the full duration of service. A fan-assisted interior circulates heat evenly through the cabinet, reducing the risk of cold spots on plated meals or pre-warmed plates queued for the pass.

The reduced depth is the defining practical characteristic of this unit. It fits comfortably in spaces where a standard-depth hot cupboard would be unworkable — corridor serveries, function room staging areas, and tight passes where floor space is limited. The heavy-duty castors allow safe repositioning between services or between areas of the operation without lifting, which makes it a practical choice for venues running banqueting or event catering alongside a regular restaurant service.

• Thermostatically controlled bain marie top, operable wet or dry
• Fan-assisted heat distribution for even cabinet temperature
• Height-adjustable internal shelves for plates and plated meals
• Double sliding doors for quick access during busy service
• Heavy-duty castors for safe repositioning between service areas

It is worth noting that the slimline footprint does reduce internal holding capacity relative to full-depth alternatives. For high-volume sites holding large quantities of plated meals across an extended service, a larger or fixed pass-through unit is likely to be a more practical choice. This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and function venues running moderate covers where flexibility and compact dimensions are priorities.

If you are unsure whether this unit matches your service volumes or available space, the team are happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Lincat Panther P8P6PT is a mobile hot cupboard built around the practical demands of a working kitchen pass. It features sliding doors on both the front and rear faces, which means kitchen staff can load plated meals from the kitchen side while front-of-house collects from the other — without either team crossing the other's path. The unit runs on castors, so it can be repositioned between services or moved to accommodate different kitchen configurations without any fixed installation work.

Fan-assisted heating distributes warmth evenly through the interior, which is particularly useful during a busy service when plates are being loaded at different intervals and temperatures. Two height-adjustable internal shelves give operators flexibility to configure the interior around different plate sizes or stacking arrangements, making it more adaptable than a fixed-shelf unit in day-to-day service.

The practical workflow advantages of this configuration are worth setting out clearly:

• Pass-through door arrangement reduces cross-traffic at the pass during service
• Fan-assisted heat helps maintain consistent temperatures across a loaded interior
• Castors allow repositioning between services or to suit different kitchen layouts
• Adjustable shelves accommodate varying plate sizes and stack depths
• Simultaneous rear loading and front collection keeps service moving efficiently

As a mobile unit, no permanent installation is required, but an appropriate electrical supply must be available at the intended position on the pass. The castors are best suited to smooth, level flooring — uneven surfaces can affect stability when the cupboard is fully loaded. This is not a high-volume banqueting holding solution, and very large or continuous-cover operations may find a higher-capacity unit better suited to their throughput.

The P8P6PT is well suited to restaurants, hotel kitchens, and pub operations running plated service from a conventional kitchen pass. Smaller operations with single-sided access may find a standard, non-pass-through model a more practical and cost-effective fit.

If you are unsure whether this unit suits your pass layout or service pattern, the team is happy to talk it through with you before you go ahead.

The Lincat P8P5 Panther is a mobile hot cupboard designed to hold plated meals at safe serving temperatures and to keep pre-warmed plates ready at the pass. It moves on heavy-duty castors, making it straightforward to reposition between service areas, shift between sittings, or store clear of the working floor when not needed — a practical consideration in kitchens where space and workflow demands change through the day.

What separates the P8P5 from passively heated alternatives is its fan-assisted heat circulation. The fan distributes warm air evenly throughout the interior, reducing the risk of hot spots and helping the cabinet recover temperature quickly after the doors have been opened during a busy service. For operations running extended service periods or banqueting events, that consistency in holding temperature makes a meaningful difference to food quality at the point of service.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the unit is practical to work with:

• Two height-adjustable internal shelves accommodate different plate sizes and stack depths
• Double sliding doors allow access from either side without interrupting service flow
• Locking castors hold the unit stable once positioned at the pass or service point
• Fan-assisted heating maintains even temperature throughout the cabinet interior
• Robust construction suited to the regular demands of commercial service

Installation is straightforward. The P8P5 runs on electricity — there is no gas supply, fixed water connection, or specialist ventilation required. It should be positioned on a level surface with adequate clearance around the unit, and it is worth confirming the available socket circuit is appropriate before first use.

This unit is well suited to restaurants, hotels, pub kitchens, and banqueting operations where plated meals need to be held ahead of service or plates must be kept warm at the pass. For higher-volume sites that require greater holding capacity, there are more substantial options in the hot cupboard range worth considering alongside this model.

If you are weighing up whether the P8P5 fits your service setup, the team is glad to talk it through with you before you commit.
