The Mapa Trident Alto are a heavy duty pair of cleaning gloves designed for commercial kitchen environments where staff regularly handle aggressive cleaning chemicals, hot water, and greasy or slippery equipment. The extended length provides coverage well beyond the wrist, protecting the forearms from splashes and spills during sink work, deep cleaning, and degreasing tasks.

In a working kitchen, cleaning gloves take a great deal of punishment. The Trident Alto's latex construction is built to resist tearing under repeated use and offers reliable protection against the corrosive cleaning agents commonly used in commercial kitchens. The textured palm and finger surface helps maintain grip on wet or greasy items, reducing the risk of dropping equipment during cleaning.

These gloves are sized at 7, which suits most operators, though sizing should be checked against your team's requirements before ordering in volume. They are a practical choice for pot wash, kitchen cleaning shifts, and end-of-service deep cleans in most commercial kitchen settings.

If you are unsure which glove specification suits your cleaning regime or chemical products, the team is happy to help you make the right choice.

Frequently asked questions

Are these gloves suitable for use with strong kitchen degreasers and sanitisers?

The Trident Alto's latex construction offers good resistance to the corrosive cleaning chemicals commonly used in commercial kitchens, including degreasers and sanitisers. That said, if your site uses particularly aggressive chemical formulations, it is worth checking the chemical compatibility of latex against your specific products before relying on these for prolonged exposure.

How do I know if size 7 is the right fit for my team?

Size 7 is a fairly standard fit for many operators, but glove sizing can vary between individuals. If you are ordering for a team rather than a single user, it is worth checking hand measurements against the manufacturer's sizing guide, or ordering a small quantity first to confirm fit before committing to a larger volume.

How long should a pair of these gloves last in a busy kitchen environment?

Lifespan depends on frequency of use and the harshness of the chemicals handled. In a kitchen running daily deep cleans, a pair would typically last several weeks to a couple of months with reasonable care. Inspecting gloves regularly for small tears or degradation is good practice, as even minor damage can expose skin to chemicals during cleaning.
