Product Description
The Rubbermaid Pulse is a trigger-operated spray mop designed for commercial floor cleaning. A built-in 600ml fluid reservoir allows operators to cover a substantial floor area without returning to a bucket, and solution is dispensed in three targeted streams with each press of the trigger, giving the user direct control over how much product is applied to the floor.
In a busy kitchen or front-of-house environment, speed and hygiene control matter as much as cleaning performance. The microfibre pad uses a zig-zag scrubbing pattern that handles dried-on soiling effectively, and the densely packed fibres pick up fine dust and debris that traditional flat mops tend to spread. Because the pad attaches via hook-and-loop backing it can be swapped quickly without handling the soiled pad directly, which helps keep things practical during or between service.
A few practical advantages worth noting:
- Colour-coded pad ribbons support zone-specific cleaning and help reduce cross-contamination risk
- Pads are machine washable up to 500 times, reducing ongoing replacement costs
- Compatible with bleach and high-pH cleaning detergents
- Lightweight aluminium and plastic construction makes it easy to handle across a full shift
- No bucket required — solution is carried on the mop itself
This mop is well suited to kitchens, cafés, bars, and front-of-house areas where floor hygiene needs to be maintained quickly between tasks. It is a practical daily-use tool rather than a solution for deep cleaning or heavily soiled industrial floors, where a traditional mop-and-bucket system or scrubber dryer may be more appropriate.
If you are equipping a site with specific colour-coding requirements or need advice on building out a broader cleaning kit, the team are happy to help work through what makes sense for your operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Yes — it is well suited to kitchen floors, servery areas, and front-of-house spaces where quick, controlled cleaning between service periods is needed. For heavily soiled kitchen floors or large areas requiring regular deep cleaning, a scrubber dryer or traditional mop system may be more appropriate alongside it.
- Each microfibre pad has an attached ribbon that can be colour-coded to designate specific cleaning zones — for example, separating food preparation areas from toilet facilities. This is a straightforward way to support HACCP-based hygiene procedures without additional equipment.
- The mop is compatible with standard commercial floor cleaning detergents, including high-pH cleaners and bleach-based solutions. Always follow the dilution rates recommended by your chemical supplier to protect both the floor surface and the pad fibres over time.
