The Olympia Chia deep bowl is a porcelain serving bowl finished with a waved rim and a speckled reactive glaze. Because reactive glazes respond differently to kiln temperatures, no two bowls are identical — each carries a slightly distinct tone and surface character, giving the range a hand-crafted, artisan appearance without the fragility or cost associated with genuine handmade ware.
In daily front-of-house use, the porcelain construction handles repeated dishwasher cycles reliably. The depth of the bowl makes it practical for broth-based dishes, ramen, sharing salads, pasta, and similar menu items where a shallower bowl would struggle to contain volume or present the dish well. The waved edge adds visual interest on the pass without creating awkward stacking issues in the rack.
Supplied as a pack of six, the Chia deep bowl is available in charcoal, green, and sand colourways, allowing operators to build a consistent table setting or mix tones intentionally as part of a relaxed, eclectic aesthetic. Key practical points worth noting:
- Reactive glaze produces natural variation — bowls are not uniform, which is by design
- Dishwasher safe for high-turnover service
- Waved rim profile adds presentation value without complicating storage
- Three colourways available to suit different interior styles
This bowl suits cafés, casual dining restaurants, brunch venues, and similar operations where the tableware is expected to carry some visual character. It is not a fine-dining piece, and the rustic aesthetic would sit awkwardly in a formal or contemporary minimalist setting.
If you are building a table setting across multiple covers and want to discuss quantities or mixing colourways, the team is happy to help you work through what makes sense for your operation.
£50.83(£61.00 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia range offers a straightforward solution for operators looking to add some character to their table settings without straying too far from a classic format. These 270mm dinner plates are made from porcelain and finished with a reactive glaze, which means each piece carries subtle variation in tone and speckle — no two plates look entirely identical. The result is an informal, artisan aesthetic that sits well in contemporary cafés, casual dining restaurants, and bistro-style operations.
Porcelain is a practical choice for front-of-house tableware. It holds up reasonably well under regular service conditions, chips less readily than earthenware, and presents food cleanly. The wide, flat rim on the Chia plate draws the eye inward toward the food, which suits kitchens where plate presentation matters. At 270mm, it works well as a main course plate across most menu styles.
A few practical points worth considering before ordering:
- Reactive glaze produces natural variation — minor colour differences between pieces are expected, not a defect
- Available in charcoal, green, and sand colourways — worth ordering consistently to maintain a coherent table aesthetic
- Supplied in packs of 6, so plan quantities around covers and breakage buffer
- Porcelain tableware of this style is best assessed in person if glaze consistency is critical to your concept
These plates are well suited to independent restaurants, cafés, and hospitality venues where an informal, handcrafted feel is part of the dining experience. If you're building out a full table setting or need guidance on quantities for a new opening, we're happy to talk it through.
£13.49(£16.19 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia coupe bowl is a 220mm porcelain bowl with a distinctive speckled glaze and gently waved rim, sold in boxes of four. It sits within Olympia's Chia range, which is designed to bring an informal, handcrafted aesthetic to table settings without sacrificing the durability expected in commercial use.
Porcelain at this weight and size performs reliably in busy front-of-house environments. It handles the daily cycle of service, dishwashing, and stacking without the surface crazing or edge chipping that can make lighter tableware look tired within months. The Chia glaze is consistent across the range, so bowls ordered at different times will coordinate well on the table.
Practically, this bowl works well for a range of covers:
- Suitable for soup, salads, pasta, and sharing portions
- The speckled green finish coordinates with natural textures — linen, slate, wood — common in casual dining and café settings
- Porcelain construction is dishwasher safe and resists staining in regular service
- Sold in boxes of four, making it straightforward to build up cover numbers gradually
There are no special installation or infrastructure requirements — this is tableware rather than equipment. The main practical consideration is cover count: four pieces per box suits operators topping up existing sets or trialling the Chia range before committing to a larger order. Higher-volume sites covering 60 or more may want to order several boxes to allow for breakages and maintain a consistent presentation throughout service.
This bowl suits cafés, bistros, casual dining restaurants, and hospitality venues looking for tableware that reads as considered without appearing formal. It is less suited to high-turnover canteen or institutional settings where a plainer, more economical profile would be more appropriate.
If you're building a full table setting around the Chia range or want to confirm the bowl suits your service style, we're happy to help you work through the options.
£16.19(£19.43 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia coupe bowl is a 265mm porcelain piece finished in charcoal, with the Chia range's characteristic speckled glaze and gently waved rim. It sits within the casual-dining end of tableware — the kind of bowl that works equally well for pasta, salads, noodle dishes, or sharing plates without looking out of place on any of them.
In busy service environments, porcelain at this weight and thickness holds up well to daily dishwasher cycling and the inevitable handling that comes with high-cover operations. The charcoal colourway is practical as well as considered — it doesn't show staining as readily as lighter glazes and tends to age gracefully in heavy use.
From an operational standpoint, the Chia range offers a few clear advantages for front-of-house teams:
- Consistent speckled finish across the range makes mixed use and replacement straightforward
- Waved rim adds visual interest without complicating stacking or storage
- Neutral charcoal tone sits alongside both warm and cool plating styles
- Porcelain construction is dishwasher-safe and resistant to everyday chipping under normal use
These bowls are sold in boxes of four, which suits both initial range builds and top-up purchasing as attrition occurs over time. They're well suited to independent restaurants, bistros, and café-dining operations looking for a relaxed, tactile aesthetic without committing to bespoke or hand-thrown pieces. If your operation runs very high covers and needs to maintain a larger matched set, it's worth considering whether a higher-volume pack size or a more neutral complementary range would better support your table plan.
If you're building out a full table setting or want to confirm how the Chia range coordinates across other pieces, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£40.50(£48.60 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia plates are 205mm porcelain side or starter plates supplied in packs of six. Each plate features an uneven edge profile and a reactive speckled glaze, which means no two pieces are identical — a deliberate characteristic of the range rather than a quality variance. The finish gives food presentation a considered, informal quality that sits well with casual dining, sharing-plate menus, and modern café formats.
Porcelain at this weight handles the routine demands of daily service comfortably. The plates are dishwasher safe and robust enough for regular commercial wash cycles, though as with all glazed tableware, stacking practices and handling during clearing will have the greatest effect on longevity. The reactive glaze is durable in normal use, but operators running very high cover volumes should factor in the usual attrition rate when planning stock levels.
A few practical points worth noting:
- Available in charcoal and sand — both mix and match within the Chia range
- Dishwasher safe and suitable for daily commercial use
- Uneven edges are an intentional design feature, not a defect
- Supplied in packs of six, useful for staggered stock building
- Consistent glaze variation means visible differences between pieces are expected
The Chia range works well where operators want a relaxed, artisan aesthetic without moving into heavier stoneware. For higher-volume operations where chip resistance and uniformity are the priority, a more traditional commercial porcelain range may be worth considering alongside this one.
If you are building a full table setting or matching across a range, the team is happy to talk through quantities and colour combinations before you order.
£27.00(£32.40 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia dipping dishes are small porcelain dishes intended for table service of condiments, sauces, dips, and side accompaniments. At 80mm across, they sit comfortably alongside a main plate or sharing board without crowding the cover.
The Chia range uses a reactive speckled glaze applied over a waved edge, which means each piece carries slight natural variation in tone and finish — broadly consistent as a set, but with the character of hand-thrown tableware. Available in charcoal, green, sand, and white, the range suits contemporary and rustic table settings equally well, and the colour options make it straightforward to coordinate with existing serveware.
For front-of-house teams, the practical points worth noting are:
- Porcelain construction — durable and chip-resistant under regular commercial use
- Dishwasher safe — cycles through a commercial glasswasher or dishwasher without issue
- Uniform sizing — 80mm across, so they stack and store consistently
- Available in four glaze colours to suit different table schemes
- Supplied in packs of 12 — practical for setting up a section or topping up stock
These dishes are well suited to casual dining, sharing-plate concepts, street food-style menus, and any operation where small condiment or dip portions are served as part of the cover. They are a straightforward, reliable choice for everyday service rather than a formal fine-dining setting.
If you are unsure which colour works best alongside your existing tableware, or whether a different size would serve your menu better, feel free to get in touch with the team.
£33.35(£40.02 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia range offers a straightforward solution for operators who want a rustic, artisan aesthetic without the fragility or inconsistency of actual handmade ceramics. These small bowls are made from porcelain with a speckled glaze and deliberately uneven edges, giving each piece a hand-thrown appearance while retaining the durability and uniformity that commercial service demands. Available in charcoal, green, sand, and white, they can be mixed or matched to complement a variety of table settings.
In a busy service environment, porcelain holds up well under the daily demands of dishwasher cycles, stacking, and general handling. The 155mm diameter makes these suitable for starters, side dishes, sharing portions, and desserts, and they sit comfortably within a tiered tableware scheme alongside larger pieces from the same Chia collection.
- Rustic hand-thrown aesthetic with consistent porcelain construction
- Dishwasher safe for efficient turnaround during service
- Supplied in packs of 6, practical for ordering by cover count
- Available in four colourways to suit different interiors
- Suitable for starters, sides, sharing dishes, and desserts
These bowls are well suited to casual dining restaurants, cafés, bistros, and hotel food and beverage operations where presentation matters but so does throughput. They work equally well in smaller independent settings as in larger operations ordering across multiple colourways for variety.
If you are building out a full table setting or unsure which colourway or size best fits your cover count and menu format, we are happy to help you work through the options before you commit to an order.
£32.55(£39.06 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia mug is a 340ml porcelain mug with a reactive speckled glaze and hand-finished uneven rim, giving each piece a distinct artisan character. Supplied in packs of six, they are available in charcoal, green, and sand colourways, making it straightforward to build a consistent table or counter presentation across a venue.
Porcelain of this weight holds up well in daily café and coffee shop use. The reactive glaze means minor variation between individual pieces is normal and expected — this is part of the aesthetic rather than a defect, though it is worth bearing in mind if your service style demands strict visual uniformity. At 350g per mug, they have a solid feel in the hand without being unwieldy, which most front-of-house teams appreciate during a busy shift.
- Dishwasher safe, reducing turnaround time during service
- Reactive glaze gives each mug a unique, handcrafted appearance
- Available in three colourways to suit different interior styles
- Suitable for filter coffee, flat whites, teas, and hot chocolates
- Pack-of-six format supports straightforward stock management
These mugs are well suited to independent cafés, coffee shops, and casual dining venues where the rustic aesthetic fits the brand. They are equally practical in hotel breakfast or lounge settings where a less uniform look is a deliberate choice. If your operation requires highly standardised or purely plain white crockery, a more conventional porcelain range may be the better fit.
If you are building out a full tableware set or matching to existing Chia pieces, the team is happy to advise on quantities and colourway combinations for your specific cover count.
£39.70(£47.64 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia plate range is a straightforward porcelain side plate with a reactive green glaze finish. At 205mm in diameter, this is a practical size for bread, side dishes, desserts, or small starters. The reactive glazing process means each plate carries slight tonal variations, so no two pieces are identical — a characteristic common to this style of finish and one that suits informal or rustic dining environments well.
In a busy service environment, porcelain at this weight and construction handles regular dishwasher cycling reliably. The raised rim helps contain sauces and dressings, which is a useful detail when plating composed sides or sharing dishes. The earthy green tones work particularly well against natural wood tables, slate boards, or linen settings.
- Reactive glaze gives each plate subtle individual variation in finish
- Raised rim helps contain dressings and keeps presentation tidy
- Dishwasher-safe porcelain construction suits regular commercial use
- Earthy green tones complement rustic, bistro, and casual dining aesthetics
- Sold in packs of six, practical for building cover sets incrementally
These plates are best suited to casual dining restaurants, bistros, cafés, and gastropubs where the handcrafted aesthetic fits the overall table setting. They are less suited to formal fine-dining environments where uniform glaze consistency is expected. If you are building out a larger tableware collection or need guidance on quantities for your cover count, we are happy to help work through the options.
£18.10(£21.72 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia range is a collection of porcelain tableware designed around an informal, tactile aesthetic — characterised by a speckled surface finish, waved rim profile, and an earthy charcoal colourway. These 220mm coupe bowls sit comfortably within that range, offering a considered alternative to plain white crockery for operators looking to give their table settings a more individual feel without moving into purely handmade or artisan pieces.
In practical terms, porcelain at this gauge handles the daily rigours of commercial service reasonably well. The coupe profile suits a range of presentations — pasta, risotto, sharing starters, desserts — making the bowl a flexible addition to a working cover rather than a single-purpose piece. The speckled glaze and waved edge give each bowl a degree of visual character that photographs well and reads positively on a laid table.
A few practical points worth considering before ordering:
- Sold in packs of four — factor this into your cover count and breakage allowance
- The waved rim, while visually distinctive, requires a little more care when stacking to avoid chip risk
- Charcoal colourways can show lime scale marks more readily than lighter crockery — regular descaling of dishwashing equipment helps
- The Chia range includes companion pieces, which makes building a coherent table setting across courses straightforward
These bowls are well suited to casual dining restaurants, bistros, and café-restaurants where the brief calls for a relaxed but considered table aesthetic. They are equally practical for smaller independent operators wanting to move away from standard white covers without investing in fully bespoke crockery.
If you are planning a full cover restock or want to discuss how the Chia range fits alongside your existing tableware, the team is happy to help you work through the quantities and mix.
£40.50(£48.60 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia plate is a 200mm porcelain side or starter plate finished with a reactive glaze that produces a speckled, artisan appearance. Because the glaze reacts differently during each firing, no two plates are identical — each carries its own natural variation in tone and texture. The uneven rim edge reinforces that handcrafted look without compromising the plate's ability to hold and present food cleanly during service.
Made from fully vitrified porcelain, these plates are built to withstand the rigours of regular commercial use. Vitrified porcelain is denser and less porous than standard ceramics, which means it resists staining, handles repeated thermal cycling in dishwashers reliably, and holds up better against chipping over time. The plates carry a lifetime edge-chip warranty, which is a practical reassurance for busy operations where tableware takes daily knocks.
For front-of-house teams, the key practical points are straightforward:
- Dishwasher safe — compatible with standard commercial rack washers
- BS4034 certified — meets the standard required for hotel and licensed premises use
- Reactive glaze finish — adds character to plating without requiring styled presentation
- Sold in packs of six — practical for building or topping up covers
- Lifetime edge-chip warranty — reduces long-term replacement costs
At 200mm, this is a versatile size for bread, side dishes, amuse-bouche, or small starter plates depending on your menu. It sits comfortably within the wider Chia range, which includes other sizes and forms, so operators building a consistent table aesthetic can mix pieces across the collection.
If you are specifying tableware for a new opening or refreshing an existing set, it is worth thinking through cover counts, wash cycles per service, and storage before committing to quantities. We are happy to talk that through with you.
£50.82(£60.98 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia plate is a fully vitrified porcelain dinner plate with a reactive speckled glaze that gives each piece a subtly distinct, earthy finish. No two plates are identical, which lends a handcrafted quality to table settings without relying on decorative additions. The raised rim helps contain sauces and dressings during plating and service, which is a practical detail in a busy pass.
In everyday service use, vitrified porcelain of this type holds up well to the repeated thermal cycling of a commercial dishwasher, and the full vitrification means the body is non-porous and resistant to staining and odour absorption over time. The BS4034 certification confirms suitability for hotel and catering use. The lifetime edge-chip warranty provides reasonable reassurance for ongoing replacement planning, though as with any tableware, careful handling and appropriate racking during washing will extend service life considerably.
These plates are well suited to restaurants, bistros, hotels, and hospitality venues looking for a natural-toned aesthetic without the fragility sometimes associated with handmade ceramics. They work particularly well in settings where an earthy, organic table presentation complements the food style — think modern European, farm-to-table, or contemporary gastropub menus.
For operations running larger covers or with higher breakage rates, it is worth considering whether a larger pack format or a more standardised white plate better fits procurement needs. The Chia range is sold in sixes, which suits smaller venues or those building stock incrementally.
If you are unsure whether this plate fits your existing crockery programme or table concept, the team is happy to talk it through.
£50.82(£60.98 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia deep bowl is a porcelain tableware piece from Olympia's Chia range, designed to sit within a broader rustic or artisan-style table setting. Each bowl features a speckled white glaze with gently waved edges, and because the reactive glaze finish varies slightly during firing, no two bowls are identical. That natural variation is part of the range's appeal for operators looking to move away from standard plain-white tableware.
In practical terms, these are robust everyday-use bowls suited to soup, pasta, noodle dishes, salads, or sharing portions. The porcelain construction handles the knocks of a busy front-of-house environment reasonably well, and the dishwasher-safe finish means they integrate without difficulty into standard warewashing routines. They carry a lifetime edge-chip warranty, which reflects a level of confidence in the build quality that is worth noting when comparing against lower-cost alternatives.
Key practical points for operators:
- Reactive glaze gives each bowl a subtly unique handcrafted appearance
- Dishwasher safe — compatible with commercial warewashing equipment
- Porcelain construction suitable for daily high-cycle use
- Lifetime edge-chip warranty included
- Sold in a pack of six, practical for building or topping up covers
These bowls are well suited to independent restaurants, bistros, hotel dining, and café operators who want a tactile, artisan aesthetic without moving into bespoke or fragile ceramics. They sit within a broader Chia range, so matching plates, bowls, and serving pieces are available if you're building a cohesive table setting across multiple cover sizes or formats.
If you're putting together a tableware range across multiple pieces or need guidance on quantities relative to your cover count, we're happy to help you work through it.
£32.96(£39.55 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia coupe bowls are porcelain serving bowls with a naturally speckled, reactive glaze finish. Each bowl comes out of the kiln with slight tonal variations, so no two pieces are identical — a characteristic that suits relaxed, informal dining concepts rather than formal or uniformly styled covers. The waved rim and shallow coupe profile make them suitable for a range of uses, from served salads and sharing plates to desserts and breakfast portions.
Porcelain at this gauge holds up well in regular commercial use. The reactive glaze is applied at the manufacturing stage and fired in, which means it is not a surface coating that will wear away with repeated washing. These bowls are dishwasher-safe and carry BS4034 certification, confirming suitability for hotel and catering use. Olympia backs them with a lifetime edge-chip warranty, which is a practical consideration when you are turning a table multiple times a day and crockery is being stacked, stored, and handled by front-of-house staff under pressure.
- Reactive glaze gives each bowl an individual, handcrafted appearance
- Dishwasher-safe and BS4034-certified for commercial catering environments
- Waved rim profile suits relaxed, casual dining table presentations
- Porcelain construction withstands regular stacking and daily service use
- Lifetime edge-chip warranty provides long-term replacement assurance
These bowls are well suited to cafés, bistros, boutique hotels, and casual dining restaurants where a rustic or artisan aesthetic is part of the concept. They are less likely to fit a formal or contemporary fine dining setting where a cleaner, more uniform finish is expected. If you are building a full cover from the Chia range or need guidance on quantities for a new opening, it is worth a conversation with the team before placing an order.
£38.11(£45.73 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia oval plate is a porcelain serving plate from Olympia's Chia range, designed for food-led hospitality operations where presentation matters. The plate features an artisan reactive glaze that gives each piece a slightly varied, handcrafted appearance, along with an irregular edge profile and a painted white rim that helps frame plated dishes cleanly. Available in charcoal, green, and sand colourways, the range is well suited to operators who want a consistent table aesthetic without a formal or clinical look.
In practice, these plates handle the demands of regular restaurant service without difficulty. They are stackable for compact storage, dishwasher-safe for high-turnover covers, and microwave-safe where reheating on the plate is part of the service workflow. Olympia backs the range with a lifetime edge-chip warranty, which is a practical reassurance in environments where plates cycle through service, washing, and stacking repeatedly.
- Stackable design supports compact back-of-house storage
- Dishwasher-safe for efficient turnaround during busy service
- Microwave-safe where reheating on the plate is required
- Reactive glaze gives each plate a distinct, handcrafted character
- Lifetime edge-chip warranty provides added reassurance in commercial use
These plates are suited to restaurants, bistros, hotels, and event catering operations looking to add some texture and character to their tableware without moving away from a practical, durable format. The oval shape works particularly well for sharing plates, starters, or composed main courses. Supplied in packs of six, they are straightforward to order in multiples to cover larger covers or build a reserve stock.
If you are putting together a full table setting or need guidance on matching pieces within the Chia range, the team is happy to help you plan it through.
£30.18(£36.22 inc VAT)
The Olympia Chia range is a porcelain tableware collection designed for operators who want a handcrafted, artisan aesthetic without compromising on durability. These oval plates feature an irregular edge profile and a reactive glaze finish, which means each piece carries subtle variation in tone and texture — giving the appearance of individually crafted tableware whilst being produced consistently enough for commercial use. The white-painted rim provides a clean visual border that helps frame plated dishes without competing with the food itself.
In service, porcelain of this type performs reliably across a range of hospitality settings. The plates are dishwasher-safe, which matters in any operation running multiple covers, and they are also microwave-safe for kitchens where reheating to order is part of the workflow. The oval format suits a wide variety of plating styles — from sharing plates and starters to mains where a standard round plate would feel predictable.
Practical considerations worth noting:
- Stackable design helps manage storage in tight pass or shelf space
- Dishwasher-safe for high-turnover service environments
- Microwave-safe for kitchens that reheat to order
- Covered by a lifetime edge-chip warranty, which is useful in busy operations where plate handling is high
- Supplied in a pack of six — useful for building stock gradually or matching to cover counts
The Chia range suits restaurants, bistros, hotels, and event caterers looking to introduce an artisan tableware aesthetic. The irregular edge makes the range less well suited to very formal or traditional dining settings where uniformity is expected. For operators running high volumes, it is worth considering how many packs are needed to maintain a working float with breakages factored in.
If you are building out a full tableware specification or want to check whether the Chia range fits your service style, the team is happy to talk it through.
