Grill and Griddle Cleaning

Grillmaster Grillstones are abrasive cleaning blocks designed for use on commercial char-grills, griddles, and flat-top cooking surfaces. They work by abrading carbonised grease and food residue from the cooking surface without the need for chemical cleaning agents, making them a straightforward and reliable part of daily grill maintenance.

In a busy kitchen, grill cleanliness directly affects food quality and surface longevity. One of the practical advantages of a grillstone over chemical cleaners is that it removes surface fouling without stripping the seasoned cure that builds up on well-maintained grill plates. That cure is worth preserving — it protects the surface and contributes to consistent cooking performance. Because the stones are odourless and tasteless, there is no risk of residual chemical taint transferring to food, which is a genuine consideration when cleaning surfaces that go straight back into service.

• Removes carbonised grease and residue through abrasion, not chemicals
• Preserves the seasoned cure on grill plates and griddles
• No odours or flavours transferred to the cooking surface
• Suitable for use on char-grills, griddles, and flat-top surfaces
• Supplied in a pack of 12, providing a practical stock quantity for regular use

These blocks are a consumable item suited to kitchens that operate grills on a daily basis — from pub kitchens and burger operations through to hotel banqueting and high-volume grill restaurants. The pack of 12 provides a reasonable supply for ongoing maintenance rather than ad hoc purchases.

If you are unsure which cleaning approach suits your particular grill surface or service pattern, the team is happy to talk it through.
