Swing Top and Milk Bottles

The Bormioli Rocco Emilia Oxford is a 1 litre glass swing top bottle designed for storing and presenting sauces, oils, dressings, cordials, and preserves in a commercial setting. The swing top mechanism incorporates a rubber gasket that creates a reliable airtight seal, keeping contents fresh and protected between services.

In a busy kitchen or front-of-house environment, bottles like this earn their place through practical everyday usefulness. The swing top opens and closes quickly without the resistance of a screw lid, which matters when staff are working at speed. The glass is made to a high clarity standard, meaning contents are immediately identifiable at a glance — useful during service when bottles are stored together or displayed on a counter or buffet.

• Airtight swing top seal helps preserve freshness between services
• High-clarity glass allows quick content identification during busy periods
• Simple swing top mechanism is easy to operate for all staff
• Classic design suits both back-of-house storage and front-of-house display
• Suitable for sauces, dressings, oils, cordials, and homemade preserves

Being glass, these bottles are well suited to venues that want to avoid plastic where possible, and the neutral, traditional aesthetic works on tabletops, buffet counters, and market-style displays alike. It is worth noting that glass requires careful handling in high-traffic environments, and breakage risk should be considered when choosing between glass and alternative materials for your specific operation.

These bottles are a practical choice for restaurants, cafés, delis, and catering operations producing their own preserves, sauces, or flavoured drinks. If you need bottles in larger volumes or different capacities for your operation, the team are happy to help you work out the right quantity and size.

The Kilner 1000ml swing top bottle is a glass storage bottle with a hinged clip-top seal, designed to keep liquids and preserves airtight. It is a straightforward, well-made piece of smallware that has been a practical choice in commercial and food retail settings for many years.

In day-to-day kitchen use, these bottles are commonly used for storing and presenting house-made oils, infused vinegars, cold-pressed juices, syrups, and similar liquids. The swing top mechanism creates a reliable seal without requiring additional equipment, and the glass construction means there is no risk of flavour transfer or staining from strongly coloured or aromatic contents.

• Airtight swing top seal keeps contents fresh and prevents spillage
• Glass construction is odour-neutral and stain-resistant
• Dishwasher safe for straightforward daily cleaning
• Suitable for oils, juices, vinegars, syrups, and preserves
• Clear glass allows easy visual identification of contents

Being dishwasher safe is a practical consideration in busy kitchens where cleaning time matters. The glass material also makes these suitable where allergen control is important, as residue is easier to identify and verify as removed than with some plastic alternatives.

These bottles are best suited to smaller-scale storage and service needs — front-of-house condiment presentation, prep kitchen ingredient storage, or food retail display. For operations requiring larger batch storage or higher-volume dispensing, a larger format or more robust vessel would be worth considering.

If you are putting together a broader storage setup or have questions about what works well in your particular service environment, the team is happy to help.

The Kilner Swing Top Preserve Bottle is a straightforward glass storage bottle with a clip-top rubber-sealed closure. At 550ml, it provides a practical capacity for oils, juices, cordials, syrups, dressings, or homemade preserves. The swing top mechanism creates an airtight seal when closed, helping to maintain freshness and prevent spillage during storage or service.

Glass construction means the bottle is non-reactive and will not taint the flavour of acidic or aromatic contents such as infused oils or citrus-based cordials — a relevant consideration when storing anything where flavour integrity matters. The bottle is dishwasher safe, which keeps turnaround straightforward in a busy kitchen environment.

In commercial use, these bottles are commonly found in front-of-house settings — on tables for oils or house dressings, behind bars for syrups, or in prep kitchens for batch-made sauces and infusions. They present well without requiring any additional presentation work, which makes them a practical choice for smaller independent restaurants, cafés, and delis.

It is worth noting that these are not pressure-rated for commercial canning or heat-processing. For standard cold or ambient storage and table service use, they are well suited. If you are storing at volume or need a larger format, the same range is available in other sizes.

If you are unsure whether this format is right for your storage or service setup, the team is happy to help you work through the options.

The Kilner 250ml swing top bottle is a glass storage bottle with a clip-top swing seal designed to keep contents airtight. Made from clear glass with a traditional swing-top closure, it is commonly used for storing and serving oils, vinegars, juices, cordials, and homemade preserves. The swing top mechanism uses a rubber gasket to create a reliable seal, helping to maintain freshness and prevent spillage.

In a commercial setting, these bottles are practical for back-of-house storage of oils and flavoured vinegars, as well as front-of-house presentation on tables or condiment stations. The glass construction makes it straightforward to check contents at a glance, and the 250ml size is a manageable portion for individual table use or mise en place prep.

• Airtight swing top seal helps preserve freshness between uses
• Clear glass construction allows easy visual check of contents
• Dishwasher safe, which keeps cleaning straightforward in a busy kitchen
• Compact size suits table condiment service or small-batch storage

Being a glass product, it should be handled with appropriate care in high-traffic kitchen environments. It is not suited to storing carbonated liquids under pressure, and the rubber gasket should be checked periodically and replaced if it shows signs of wear to maintain an effective seal.

This bottle is well suited to cafés, bistros, delis, and smaller hospitality operations looking for a presentable, practical storage and serving vessel. For operators needing larger storage volumes, wider-mouth jar formats or larger capacity bottles may be more appropriate.

If you are unsure which size or format best fits your service style, our team is happy to help you work through the options.

The Kilner Mini Milk Bottle is a small glass serving bottle designed for individual portion service. With its traditional milk bottle profile and retro printed logo, it suits casual dining, café, and brunch settings where presentation is part of the offer. Each bottle holds 189ml — roughly a third of a pint — making it a practical size for single-serve milkshakes, cold-pressed juices, sauces, or cordials.

In service, these bottles work well for pre-prepared portions that can be chilled and brought straight to the table. The gold-coloured twist-top lid helps maintain freshness during storage and adds to the finished presentation. Because each bottle is individual, they also suit operations where portion consistency matters — each serving is measured and ready to go.

• Retro glass bottle format suits casual dining, brunch, and café presentation
• Twist-top lid keeps pre-prepared portions fresh during refrigerated storage
• Consistent 189ml capacity supports reliable portion control
• Glass construction is food-safe, odour-neutral, and visually clean
• Compact footprint makes chilled storage of pre-batched portions straightforward

It is worth noting that the printed colour decoration on these bottles is best preserved through handwashing rather than machine washing. Operators running high-throughput dish wash cycles should factor this into their service workflow.

These bottles are well suited to independent cafés, brunch venues, juice bars, and casual dining operations looking to add a considered, tactile element to their drinks service. They are a relatively simple product, but if you are unsure how many you need for your service volumes or how they fit into your chilled storage setup, the team is happy to help you think it through.
