This is the manufacturer's replacement drip tray for the Buffalo CP240 combi BBQ and griddle unit. Its purpose is straightforward: to collect fat, cooking juices, and food debris that fall through the grill surface during service, keeping the unit cleaner and reducing the risk of flare-ups or residue build-up on the appliance base.

In a busy kitchen, drip trays take a considerable amount of heat and grease over the course of a service. Having a genuine replacement part to hand means you can swap out a damaged or heavily soiled tray quickly, keeping the unit in safe working order without downtime. A well-fitting tray also makes end-of-service cleaning more manageable, since the bulk of the debris is contained in one removable component rather than spread across the interior.

This tray is designed specifically for the Buffalo CP240, so it should seat correctly and perform as the original. Using a non-compatible or poorly fitting tray risks grease escaping into areas of the unit that are harder to clean and potentially affecting performance over time.

If you are unsure whether this is the correct part for your unit, or if your CP240 has an older or revised specification, it is worth checking with us before ordering — we can confirm compatibility and advise on availability of other consumable parts for the same appliance.

Frequently asked questions

Will this drip tray fit any other Buffalo griddle or BBQ models?

This tray is listed as a replacement part for the Buffalo CP240 combi BBQ and griddle specifically. We would not recommend assuming it fits other Buffalo models without checking, as tray dimensions and fixing points can vary across the range. If you have a different model, get in touch and we can confirm the correct part.

How often should a drip tray like this be replaced?

There is no fixed replacement interval — it depends on how heavily the unit is used and how well the tray is cleaned between services. In high-volume operations, trays can warp or corrode more quickly due to prolonged heat and grease exposure. If the tray no longer seats flat or shows signs of structural deterioration, replacing it promptly is the sensible course.

Is it worth keeping a spare drip tray in stock?

For kitchens running the CP240 regularly, having a spare on hand is a practical precaution. Drip trays are a consumable component, and waiting on a replacement part during a busy period can mean the unit is either used unsafely or taken out of service entirely. Keeping one spare avoids that situation.
