This is a genuine Buffalo replacement lower tray for the JD457 high-speed convection oven. It features a Teflon coating on the tray surface, which reduces food adhesion and simplifies cleaning between cooking cycles. As a like-for-like replacement part, it restores the oven to its original specification when the existing tray becomes worn, scratched, or the coating degrades through prolonged use.

Teflon-coated trays in high-speed convection ovens take considerable daily punishment — repeated heating cycles, cleaning chemicals, and mechanical contact all take their toll over time. Replacing a worn tray promptly helps maintain consistent cooking results and keeps cleaning times reasonable during a busy service. Using a genuine Buffalo part ensures correct fitment and material compatibility with the JD457 oven cavity.

  • Genuine Buffalo part — correct fit for the JD457 without modification
  • Teflon coating reduces food adhesion and speeds up post-service cleaning
  • Replaces worn or damaged trays to restore original oven performance
  • Suitable for the high-temperature cycles typical of high-speed convection cooking

This tray is a direct replacement and fits only the JD457 model. If you are unsure whether this is the correct tray for your oven variant, or if you need advice on a full set of oven accessories, feel free to get in touch with the team before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Which oven model does this tray fit?

This tray is designed specifically for the Buffalo JD457 high-speed convection oven. It is not a universal part, so it is worth confirming your oven model number before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

How do I know when the Teflon tray needs replacing?

If the coating has become visibly scratched, flaking, or heavily discoloured, or if food is consistently sticking in areas where it previously did not, it is a good indication the tray has reached the end of its serviceable life. Replacing it promptly helps maintain cooking consistency and keeps cleaning manageable.

Can I use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners on this tray?

To preserve the Teflon coating and extend the tray's working life, it is advisable to avoid metal utensils and abrasive cleaning pads. Soft cloths or non-abrasive cleaning products are better suited to maintaining the coating's integrity over time.
