This is the replacement 8mm grating disc for the Santos CF600 electric cheese grater (model 02A). It is a genuine Santos accessory, designed to fit the CF600 directly and restore the machine to full working order when the original disc becomes worn or damaged.

In a busy kitchen, grating discs take a significant amount of wear over time. An 8mm disc produces a medium-coarse grate suitable for a range of hard and semi-hard cheeses, and it is worth keeping a spare on hand to avoid any interruption to service. Swapping the disc is straightforward, which means downtime is minimal when a replacement is needed.

A few practical points worth noting: this disc is compatible specifically with the Santos CF600 (02A) grater — it is not a universal fitting and will not suit other Santos models or third-party graters. If you are unsure which disc size best suits your output requirements, Santos also produce discs in other grating sizes for the same machine.

If you have any questions about compatibility or which disc size is right for your operation, the team is happy to help before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Which Santos grater model is this disc compatible with?

This 8mm disc is designed specifically for the Santos CF600 electric cheese grater, also referenced as model 02A. It is not a universal fitting, so it is worth confirming your machine model before ordering.

Is 8mm the right grating size for my kitchen's needs?

An 8mm disc produces a medium-coarse grate, which works well for most hard and semi-hard cheeses used in catering. Santos produce the CF600 discs in other sizes too, so if your menu calls for a finer or coarser result, it is worth checking which size best suits your output.

How often should grating discs be replaced in a commercial kitchen?

There is no fixed interval — it depends on the volume of use and the hardness of the produce being processed. A disc that has become blunt will produce uneven results and puts additional strain on the motor, so it is worth inspecting the disc regularly and replacing it as soon as performance drops.
