The Steelite Morella coupe bowl is a 255mm all-purpose bowl from Steelite Performance's Morella collection. The design draws on the textures and character of the medieval Spanish town of Morella, with subtle embossed detailing worked into the body of each piece. The result is tableware that reads as considered and distinctive without being decorative to the point of distraction — well suited to contemporary restaurant and bistro settings where the food is the focus.
Made from alumina vitrified clay, these bowls are built to handle the rigours of a busy food service operation. Alumina vitrification produces a dense, low-porosity body that resists both thermal and mechanical shock more effectively than standard vitrified china — a meaningful practical advantage when bowls are being loaded into and out of dishwashers repeatedly through service. The glaze finish is hard-wearing and maintains its appearance under the kind of daily use that commercial tableware faces.
Key practical points for operators:
- Dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe
- Strong thermal and mechanical shock resistance extends usable life
- Alumina vitrified construction reduces chipping and crazing over time
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for stock management
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
The 255mm size makes these versatile across a number of menu applications — pasta, risotto, sharing starters, and desserts among them. For operations running larger portion sizes or wide-rim plating styles, it is worth checking that this diameter suits your presentation before ordering in volume.
If you are building out a full table setting or matching to an existing Steelite range, the team are happy to talk through what works together.
£180.00(£216.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Alina range is a fine-china-style tableware collection built on alumina vitrified porcelain — a material chosen by Steelite specifically for its durability in demanding commercial environments. The oval coupe format at 230mm makes these plates well suited to starter and main course plating where a clean, uncluttered rim is preferable. The subtle embossed detail at the centre of each plate gives chefs a natural focal point for composed dishes without competing with the food itself.
In everyday service, alumina vitrified ware holds up reliably under the thermal stresses that come with commercial kitchens — passing from chill storage through a hot pass and back through a commercial dishwasher repeatedly without the crazing or chipping that affects lower-grade porcelain. The fully glazed base reduces wear during stacking and on plate slides, which matters in high-turnover operations where plates cycle dozens of times per service. Steelite backs the range with a lifetime edge chip warranty, which reflects both the build quality and the confidence operators can reasonably place in the product.
- Clean oval coupe profile suits modern plating styles
- Alumina vitrified construction for durability under commercial use
- Fully glazed base reduces chipping and wear during stacking
- Tested for temperature retention — suitable for both hot and chilled courses
- Lifetime edge chip warranty from Steelite
These are a practical choice for restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and banqueting operations looking for a consistent, durable plate across a mid-to-large cover count. For very high-volume sites with significant daily throughput, it is worth discussing whether a heavier-gauge or more utilitarian alternative would offer better long-term cost-in-use.
If you are specifying tableware across multiple plate sizes or building out a full Alina cover, we are happy to talk through what quantities and formats make sense for your service style.
£115.00(£138.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Morella coupe plate is a 230mm round plate from Steelite's Morella collection — a range that takes its design references from the medieval town of Morella in Valencia. Each piece carries a subtle embossed surface texture that gives the range a quiet visual character without being decorative in a way that dates quickly or competes with plated food.
Made from alumina vitrified clay, the Morella range is built to withstand the routine demands of a working hospitality environment. The material offers strong resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock, which matters in a busy kitchen where plates move quickly between service, dishwashers, and storage. The clay body is harder-wearing than standard porcelain, which helps reduce chipping and breakage over time.
These plates are cleared for use in commercial dishwashers, microwaves, freezers, and ovens, giving front- and back-of-house teams straightforward flexibility in how they handle and use them. Steelite backs the range with their Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, which offers a practical level of reassurance for operators managing ongoing replacement costs.
- Suitable for high-turnover table service in restaurants, hotels, and contract catering
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, reducing handling time between services
- Microwave and oven safe for flexible plating and finishing
- Subtle embossed texture works across a range of menu styles and presentations
- Supplied in a pack of 12 for consistent table settings
The 230mm size works well as a starter or side plate, or as a main plate for lighter dishes and smaller portions. For operations needing a larger main plate or additional pieces within the same collection, the Morella range includes other sizes and formats to keep the look consistent across the table.
If you're building out a full cover or matching an existing tableware scheme, it's worth having a conversation with us before ordering — we can help ensure the sizing and quantities make sense for your service.
£119.00(£142.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Morella range is a mid-sized coupe plate from Steelite Performance, one of the more widely recognised names in commercial tableware. The 255mm diameter sits comfortably in the main course bracket, and the coupe profile — with its minimal rim — gives a clean, contemporary presentation without complicating plating. The subtle embossed surface detailing draws on natural textures and gives the range a quiet character without overpowering the food on the plate.
Made from alumina vitrified clay, these plates are built for the demands of regular commercial service. The construction gives good resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock, which matters in environments where plates move quickly between a hot pass, a busy wash cycle, and back into service. The material is inherently harder-wearing than standard vitrified china, which helps reduce chipping and cracking over time — a practical consideration for any operation managing tableware at volume.
From an operational standpoint, the Morella plates offer a few straightforward advantages worth noting:
- Dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe — compatible with standard commercial kitchen workflows
- Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty from Steelite, which provides a degree of long-term cover on the most common point of damage
- Supplied in a pack of 12, which suits initial stock purchases or topping up existing covers
There are no unusual storage or handling requirements. The coupe shape stacks efficiently, which helps with both storage space and reducing the risk of damage during stacking. These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract catering, and similar hospitality settings running regular table service.
If you are building out a full cover count or want to discuss how the Morella range fits alongside other pieces in the collection, we are happy to help you work through the numbers.
£185.00(£222.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Alina oval coupe bowl is part of a contemporary tableware collection designed to complement modern plating styles without competing with the food. The shallow, open coupe profile and a subtle central embossment give the bowl a clean platform that works well for both composed starters and desserts, making it a practical choice across multiple courses.
Made from alumina vitrified porcelain, these bowls are built to hold up under the demands of regular commercial service. The fully glazed base helps reduce chipping and wear during stacking and clearing, which matters considerably when bowls are being handled at speed during a busy service. The glaze is resistant to temperature fluctuation, so bowls can move between chilled holding and hot service without issue — a useful quality for operations running pre-plated courses or banquet-style service.
From an operational standpoint, the Alina range offers a few practical advantages worth noting:
- Fully stackable for efficient storage in cramped back-of-house environments
- Glazed base reduces contact wear during stacking and transport
- Compatible with both hot and chilled course service
- Consistent profile supports uniform plating across a brigade
- Alumina vitrified construction provides durability for high-turnover service
These bowls are well suited to restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and banqueting operations that want a refined but unfussy tableware profile. They are part of a broader Alina collection, so matching pieces across different course formats are available if you are building or refreshing a full cover. For very high-volume operations or venues where breakage rates are a significant cost concern, it is worth considering whether a heavier-duty alternative from the Steelite range might offer a better long-term return.
If you are specifying tableware across a full dining room or banqueting suite and want to talk through the Alina collection or suitable alternatives, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£119.00(£142.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Morella coupe bowl is a mid-sized serving bowl from Steelite's Morella range — a collection that draws design inspiration from the medieval town of Morella in Valencia. Each piece carries a subtle embossed texture that gives the range a quiet visual character without overpowering plated dishes. The coupe profile, with its shallow, wide form and minimal rim, suits modern plating styles across a broad range of cuisines.
These bowls are made from alumina vitrified clay, which is the standard construction for professional-grade hospitality tableware. The material offers strong resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock, meaning the bowls hold up well through repeated cycles of service, washing, and stacking. Steelite backs each piece with a Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, which reflects confidence in the product's durability under daily commercial use.
For front-of-house teams, the practical advantages are straightforward:
- Dishwasher-safe for efficient turnaround during service
- Microwave and oven-safe, supporting kitchen flexibility
- Freezer-safe where cold preparation or pre-plating is required
- Consistent glaze finish supports a uniform table presentation
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to topping up existing covers
As with all tableware purchased for front-of-house use, it is worth considering your existing cover count, service frequency, and how the Morella range sits alongside any other tableware already in use. For operators building out a full table setting from this range, or for higher-volume sites requiring larger case quantities, it is worth discussing your full requirement before ordering.
If you are putting together a tableware specification or matching pieces across a range, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£71.50(£85.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Morella coupe plate is a mid-sized side or starter plate from Steelite's Morella collection. The coupe profile — a shallow, rimless form — gives the plate a clean, contemporary look that works well across a range of dining styles, from casual all-day dining to more considered plated service. The subtle embossed surface detailing adds quiet visual interest without imposing on the food presentation.
Made from alumina vitrified clay, these plates are built to the standard expected of Steelite tableware: resistant to both thermal and mechanical shock, which matters when plates are cycling through high-temperature dishwashers multiple times a day. They hold up well under the handling pressure of a busy pass, and the vitrified construction helps maintain the glaze over extended use in commercial environments.
- Safe for commercial dishwashers, microwaves, ovens and freezers
- Thermal and mechanical shock resistance for daily high-volume cycling
- Embossed surface detail suits contemporary plating styles
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
- Supplied in a pack of 12 for straightforward stock management
As a 152.5mm plate, this is best suited to side dishes, bread, amuse-bouche, petit fours, or as a smaller starter plate. It is not intended as a main course plate. Operations running high covers will want to consider their breakage replacement cycle and whether a larger initial quantity suits their service better.
If you are building out a full cover count or matching to other pieces within the Morella range, our team is happy to talk through quantities and programme options.
£53.62(£64.34 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita is a white coupe plate from Steelite Performance's professional tableware range. The coupe profile — a shallow, rimless or near-rimless form — keeps the focus on the food, making these plates a practical choice for kitchens where presentation matters. The flowing circular lines draw the eye naturally towards the centre of the plate, giving chefs a clean canvas without the need for elaborate plating techniques.
These plates are constructed from Alumina vitrified porcelain, which is the standard specification for serious commercial tableware. The vitrification process produces a dense, non-porous body that resists staining and glaze damage more effectively than standard earthenware or lighter-grade porcelain. In a busy service environment, that durability translates directly into lower replacement rates and more consistent-looking covers throughout a shift.
From an operational standpoint, the Orbita coupe plates offer several practical advantages for front-of-house teams:
- Thermal shock resistance supports movement between cold storage, microwave, and hot pass without cracking
- Good heat retention helps maintain dish temperature from pass to table
- Full dishwasher compatibility suits high-turnover operations with continuous wash cycles
- The Steelite Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty provides reassurance on the most common point of wear in service
At 152.5mm, this is a smaller coupe plate — well suited to starters, amuse-bouches, desserts, or side dishes rather than main courses. For operations needing a full coupe range across courses, Steelite produce the Orbita in larger diameters. These plates are supplied in a pack of 12, which suits initial trials or topping up existing stock.
If you are specifying tableware across a full cover count or mixing plate sizes within the same collection, our team is happy to work through quantities and formats with you before you order.
£70.51(£84.61 inc VAT)
The Orbita coupe plate from Steelite Performance is a mid-size white plate designed for professional table service. At 202.5mm it sits comfortably in the starter-to-dessert range, though many operations also use it as a side plate alongside larger mains covers. The coupe profile — rimless with a gently curved edge — keeps the focus on the food and gives chefs a clean, uncluttered surface to plate against.
Steelite manufacture Orbita from alumina vitrified porcelain, which is the standard body construction used across serious hospitality tableware. In practical terms this means the plates handle the thermal cycling of busy service — moving between hot pass, table and commercial dishwasher — without the crazing or glaze deterioration that affects lower-grade ceramics over time. Edge chipping is the most common cause of tableware replacement in a working operation, and Steelite back these plates with a lifetime edge chip warranty, which is a meaningful commitment in a trade context.
- Alumina vitrified body for durability under daily commercial use
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave and freezer without degradation
- Good heat and chill retention to support consistent service temperatures
- Lifetime edge chip warranty reduces long-term replacement costs
- Clean coupe profile suits a range of plating styles and cuisines
These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract caterers and any operation running structured table service. The 12-pack format is practical for initial stock builds or topping up existing covers. Operations running high cover counts will typically want to order in greater volume to maintain a working buffer above active service numbers.
If you are building a full cover count or matching Orbita to other pieces in the range, the team is happy to talk through quantities and combinations before you order.
£114.00(£136.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita is a white coupe plate with a gently curved, rimless profile that draws the eye naturally to the centre of the dish. The 285mm diameter makes it a practical main course plate suited to a wide range of menu styles, from casual dining to more considered plating in contemporary restaurants. The design carries a subtly organic quality that sits comfortably alongside both modern and traditional table settings.
Steelite's Alumina vitrified construction gives these plates meaningful durability under the pressures of daily commercial service. Resistance to thermal shock means they can move reliably between kitchen and table without the glaze degrading over time, and the surface holds up well against staining and the mechanical wear of regular dishwasher cycles. Heat retention is solid enough to support consistent service temperatures across a sitting.
From an operational standpoint, the coupe format offers a clean, uncluttered surface that works well for portion control and presentation consistency. Key practical points include:
- Dishwasher, microwave, and freezer compatible for flexible kitchen use
- Thermal shock resistance reduces breakage risk during temperature transitions
- Stain-resistant glaze helps maintain appearance over extended use
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to stocking by cover count
These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract caterers, and pub kitchens running a structured main course offer. At 285mm they work across most main course presentations without being oversized. Operations running very high covers may want to consider ordering in larger quantities to maintain adequate rotation stock and account for attrition.
If you're building out a full table setting or want to confirm these sit well alongside other Steelite ranges you're already using, we're happy to help you work through the options.
£104.00(£124.80 inc VAT)
The Orbita range from Steelite Performance is a collection of vitrified porcelain tableware designed to work as hard as the kitchens that use it. The tall bowl format in this range suits a wide variety of covers — from starter courses and desserts through to sharing portions and contemporary small-plate menus. The flowing circular profile and subtly organic rim give chefs a clean, uncluttered canvas without veering into anything overly ornate.
In a busy service environment, durability matters as much as appearance. The alumina vitrified construction used across the Orbita collection is well regarded in professional hospitality for its resistance to thermal shock, edge chipping and glaze staining — all common causes of stock loss in high-turnover operations. The bowls move comfortably between dishwasher cycles, microwave finishing and freezer storage without compromising the glaze or the body of the piece, which helps maintain a consistent presentation across a long service.
From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are straightforward:
- Strong heat and chill retention helps keep dishes at temperature between pass and table
- Glaze resistance to staining reduces the risk of pieces looking tired after repeated washing
- Full dishwasher compatibility means no hand-wash dependency during service
- Supplied in a pack of 12, making stock management and initial ordering straightforward
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, which carries genuine value in a professional setting
These bowls are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract catering operations and any venue running a structured table service. For lighter or less frequent use, a standard porcelain alternative may be sufficient. For sites with very high covers or rough handling environments, it is worth discussing the broader Steelite range to confirm the right specification.
If you are building out a full table setting or want to confirm pack quantities against your cover count, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£122.00(£146.40 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe bowl is a white, rimless-style bowl with a gently curved profile and a subtly organic edge finish. At 255mm it sits in a versatile mid-size position — substantial enough for pasta, risotto, soup, and composed plated dishes, without being unwieldy on a laid cover. The clean, uncluttered surface gives chefs a straightforward canvas to present food without the bowl competing with the dish.
In day-to-day service, Orbita holds up well under the demands of a busy operation. The alumina vitrified construction is harder and denser than standard porcelain, which translates into better resistance to chipping, staining, and the thermal shock that comes from moving crockery between hot lamps, cold storage, and high-temperature dishwashers in rapid succession. Bowls that survive the full wash-and-return cycle reliably are worth their weight in any kitchen where breakage costs add up quickly.
Practical reasons operators choose Orbita for their covers:
- Alumina vitrified body resists chipping and glaze damage through heavy wash cycles
- Thermal shock resistance suits fast-moving service where temperatures vary sharply
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers without special handling
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance on stock investment
- Consistent white glaze finish makes restocking straightforward as the range evolves
These bowls require no special storage or handling beyond standard crockery practice. They stack neatly and are sold in packs of 12, which suits initial cover builds or topping up existing stock. For operations running very high covers or needing a different diameter — smaller for starters or larger for sharing plates — the Orbita range extends across multiple sizes worth considering.
Orbita suits restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and contract catering operations where a contemporary but unfussy aesthetic is preferred and durability under commercial washing conditions is non-negotiable. It works equally well in casual dining and more considered fine dining settings without feeling out of place in either.
If you're building a new cover set or matching into an existing range, we're happy to talk through quantities and sizing before you commit.
£93.36(£112.03 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita is a white coupe plate from Steelite Performance, a manufacturer well regarded in the UK hospitality trade for producing robust tableware suited to professional service environments. The 255mm diameter makes this a versatile main-course plate, appropriate across a wide range of covers from casual dining through to more considered plating styles. The coupe profile — rimless or near-rimless — keeps the focus on the food and gives kitchen teams a clean, uncluttered surface to work with.
In day-to-day service, the Orbita holds up well under the demands of a busy kitchen pass. The alumina vitrified construction is harder and denser than standard vitrified china, which translates to better resistance to chipping, staining, and glaze crazing over time. Plates that survive the dishwasher cycle repeatedly without dulling or marking are worth their cost in a high-turnover operation, and the Orbita's build quality is consistent with what Steelite's commercial range is known for.
From an operational standpoint, a few practical points are worth noting:
- Alumina vitrified body resists thermal shock, supporting movement between temperature extremes
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezer storage
- Good heat retention helps maintain plate temperature through the pass
- The coupe format stacks efficiently, reducing storage footprint
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance
Supplied in packs of 12, this format suits operations that need to build or replenish a par stock without committing to full case quantities. The 255mm size sits comfortably as a standard main plate, though operators running tasting menus or smaller covers may find a smaller diameter more appropriate for their style of service.
If you're working out how many covers to stock for or want to discuss building a consistent table setting across a range, we're happy to help you think it through.
£113.00(£135.60 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe bowl is a circular, rimless-style bowl with a gently flowing profile and a subtly organic edge. The shape draws the eye inward, giving chefs a clean, uncluttered surface on which to plate everything from starters and desserts to sharing portions and amuse-bouches. At 202.5mm it sits at a versatile midpoint — substantial enough for a composed dish, compact enough not to overwhelm a cover.
Made from Steelite's alumina vitrified body, these bowls are built to withstand the day-to-day punishment of professional service. The construction resists thermal shock, glaze crazing and staining, which matters when bowls are moving repeatedly between the pass, the dishwasher and cold storage. Heat and chill retention is solid, helping maintain presentation temperature from kitchen to table during a busy service.
From an operational standpoint, the Orbita range offers several practical advantages for front-of-house teams:
- Fully dishwasher safe, supporting high-turnover covers without manual handling concerns
- Microwave and freezer compatible, adding flexibility across different service styles
- The coupe profile stacks efficiently, reducing storage footprint in tight crockery stores
- Consistent white glaze works across varied plating styles and table settings
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, reducing replacement frequency over time
Supplied in a pack of 12, this is a practical quantity for a side station refresh or supplementing an existing Orbita set. The range sits within a broader Steelite collection, so complementary pieces in matching or coordinating shapes are available if you're building or extending a full cover.
If you're unsure how many covers to stock for or whether the Orbita profile suits your service style, we're happy to talk it through.
£183.00(£219.60 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe plate is a wide, rimless-style plate with a gently curved profile and a subtly organic edge that draws attention naturally to the food being presented. The Fuse Sable colourway gives the glaze a warm, earthy tone that works well against a range of food styles and plating approaches. At 285mm, this is a generous main course plate suited to contemporary plating rather than traditional portion presentation.
Steelite's Alumina vitrified construction is well regarded in professional hospitality for its resistance to chipping, thermal shock, and glaze staining — all relevant concerns in busy pass environments where plates move quickly between kitchen heat and table service. The glaze holds up well in continuous dishwasher cycles, which matters on a cover count where crockery turns over several times per service.
From an operational standpoint, the Orbita coupe format offers a few practical advantages:
- Wide, open surface gives chefs a clear canvas for composed and fine-casual plating
- Coupe profile stacks efficiently, reducing storage footprint in tight plate stores
- Compatible with dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers for flexible service workflows
- Fuse Sable finish resists staining from sauces and acidic ingredients over time
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance in professional use
Supplied in packs of 12, this format suits operators who want to introduce or extend the Orbita range without committing to large stock volumes upfront. The 285mm size is best suited to main course service; operators running tasting menus or smaller plates may want to consider alternative sizes within the Orbita range.
If you're building out a full table setting or matching across a range of covers, the team is happy to help you work through quantities and compatible pieces.
£79.45(£95.34 inc VAT)
The Orbita range from Steelite Performance is a well-regarded tableware collection designed for professional hospitality use. These 125mm tall bowls have a circular, gently flowing profile with a refined organic rim, making them a practical choice for operators who want a contemporary presentation without overly decorative styling. The white glaze keeps the focus on the food rather than the crockery.
In a service environment, durability is as important as appearance. The Orbita bowls are constructed from alumina vitrified china, which gives them good resistance to the knocks, thermal cycling, and repeated dishwasher use that commercial kitchens demand day to day. They hold temperature reasonably well during service, which is useful for hot starters, warm desserts, or chilled presentations. Compatibility with dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers means they fit into most standard back-of-house workflows without complication.
Key practical points for operators:
- Alumina vitrified construction for durability under regular commercial use
- Resistant to thermal shock, staining, and glaze damage
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, and freezer use
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for stock management
These bowls are well suited to restaurants, hotels, and contract catering operations looking for a clean, contemporary bowl that performs reliably across a full range of service styles — from casual dining through to more formal settings. For very high-volume operations running multiple sittings daily, it is worth considering how many covers you need to turn before settling on the right quantity to order.
If you are building out a full table setting or need guidance on quantities for your service volume, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£119.00(£142.80 inc VAT)
The Orbita range from Steelite Performance is a white vitrified tableware collection with a gently curved, circular profile designed to draw attention to the food at its centre. The tall bowl format suits plated starters, desserts, pasta, and soup service, and the clean white finish works across casual dining and more considered cover settings without looking out of place in either.
Steelite manufacture Orbita from alumina vitrified porcelain, which is a denser, harder-wearing body than standard porcelain and holds up well to the repeated handling, stacking, and dishwasher cycles that come with busy restaurant service. The glaze resists staining and surface marking over time, which matters when presentation standards need to stay consistent across a long run of covers. Thermal shock resistance means bowls move between refrigerated prep and hot pass conditions without the micro-cracking that can shorten the life of less durable ware.
- Alumina vitrified body offers strength suited to high-turnover service
- Glaze resists staining, helping maintain presentation standards over time
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezer storage
- Good heat and chill retention supports consistent plating across a service
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance
Supplied in a pack of 12, these bowls are a practical quantity for smaller operations topping up existing covers, or for operators building out a new section of their tableware inventory. The Orbita collection extends across other bowl sizes and plate formats, so there is room to build a coordinated range if that suits your service style.
If you are specifying tableware across a full restaurant fit-out or want to discuss pack quantities and how Orbita sits alongside your existing ware, the team is happy to help.
£74.49(£89.39 inc VAT)
The Orbita coupe plate from Steelite Performance is a circular, rimless-style plate with a gently flowing profile that draws the eye to the centre of the dish. The Fuse Sable colourway gives it a warm, neutral tone that works well alongside both natural and vibrant plating styles. At 152.5mm, this is a side plate or starter plate size, suited to smaller courses, pre-desserts, or as part of a multi-plate cover.
Steelite's Alumina vitrified construction is well regarded in professional hospitality for its resistance to chipping, thermal shock, and glaze staining — the everyday hazards of busy pass and dishwash cycles. The plates retain heat and chill effectively, which helps maintain consistency between kitchen and table during a busy service. They are compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers without any special handling requirements.
From an operational perspective, the Orbita range offers a few practical advantages worth noting:
- Alumina vitrified body resists the wear of repeated commercial dishwash cycles
- Thermal shock resistance reduces breakage risk during rapid temperature changes
- Glaze integrity maintained over time, keeping presentation standards consistent
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for professional settings
- Coupe profile simplifies stacking and storage in a busy kitchen environment
These plates are supplied in a pack of 12, which suits operators looking to build or supplement a cover count without over-committing. For high-volume sites or venues running multiple sittings, it is worth considering how many packs are needed to cover service comfortably, including dishwash rotation. The Orbita range is available in larger plate sizes if a full table setting is required across courses.
If you are unsure how many pieces to order for your cover count, or whether this size fits the menu format you have in mind, the team is happy to talk it through.
£162.00(£194.40 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita range is a well-considered tableware collection built around a flowing circular form that draws the eye naturally to the centre of the plate or bowl. The tall bowl format in Fuse Sable — a warm, earthy dark tone — gives chefs a practical canvas for plating soups, risottos, desserts, and small plates with clear visual contrast and a contemporary feel that works across casual dining, brasserie, and more formal table settings alike.
In a busy service environment, durability matters as much as appearance. The Orbita tall bowl is constructed from alumina vitrified porcelain, which gives it good resistance to the knocks, thermal cycling, and chemical exposure that come with continuous commercial use. The finish holds up well against staining and glaze wear, and the bowls move cleanly through commercial dishwashers without the finish degrading over time. Heat and chill retention is reasonable for the format, helping maintain dish temperatures from pass to table.
- Alumina vitrified construction for durability in daily commercial service
- Thermal shock resistance suits movement between freezer, microwave, and dishwasher
- Fuse Sable tone provides strong visual contrast for modern plating
- Flowing rim profile adds a handcrafted sensibility without complex handling
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added operational confidence
These bowls are sold in packs of 12, which suits initial cover sets for smaller operations or top-up ordering for larger sites. They are a practical choice for restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and contract catering operations where a consistent, well-finished table presentation is expected without the fragility sometimes associated with more decorative ranges.
If you are specifying tableware across multiple covers or matching to an existing Orbita collection, it is worth having a conversation about quantities and any other pieces in the range that may complement your service style — the team is happy to help work through that.
£190.00(£228.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe bowl is a wide, shallow-rimmed bowl with a smooth, flowing profile that draws focus to the centre of the plate. The Fuse Sable colourway gives the piece a warm, muted tone that works equally well in relaxed dining and more considered, formal settings. At 255mm, it sits at a generous size suited to starter and dessert courses, or as a principal bowl for smaller portioned mains.
Orbita is made from Steelite's Alumina vitrified body, which is the standard for serious front-of-house tableware in commercial hospitality. The construction offers good resistance to thermal shock, which matters in a working kitchen where pieces move regularly between cold storage, microwave, and hot pass. The glaze is resistant to staining and surface damage from everyday dishwasher cycles, which helps maintain the appearance of the range over a longer service life.
From an operational standpoint, the coupe profile is practical as well as presentable. The absence of a raised rim makes plating straightforward and reduces the risk of smudging during service. Key practical points include:
- Full dishwasher, microwave, and freezer compatibility for smooth day-to-day operation
- Thermal shock resistance reduces breakage risk during temperature transitions
- Stain and glaze damage resistance supports appearance over extended use
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to building or replenishing a cover set
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
This bowl is well suited to restaurants, hotels, and contract catering operations looking for a consistent, versatile coupe format across multiple courses. The 12-pack format is practical for both initial purchases and ongoing stock replenishment. For operations running high cover volumes with significant daily throughput, it is worth considering the quantity required to maintain a full rotation through service and the dishwash cycle simultaneously.
If you are building a tableware range or matching pieces across courses, our team is happy to talk through what works best for your service style and cover count.
£107.00(£128.40 inc VAT)
The Orbita range from Steelite Performance is a coupe-style plate with a gently curved rim and flowing circular form. The Fuse Sable colourway gives the glaze a warm, earthy tone that works well as a backdrop for plated food. At 202.5mm this is a versatile mid-size plate, commonly used as a starter or dessert plate in full-service covers, or as a main plate where portions are composed rather than generous.
Steelite's alumina vitrified construction is the standard to which most professional operators hold commercial tableware. The body is dense and consistent, which supports the thermal shock resistance needed when plates move between cold passes, hot lamps, and commercial dishwashers across hundreds of covers per week. Glaze integrity is equally important in a busy environment — chipped or stained plates leave service quickly, so the resistance built into Orbita is a practical consideration rather than a selling point.
- Alumina vitrified body for strength under heavy daily use
- Thermal shock resistance supports rapid temperature cycling in service
- Glaze resistant to staining and surface damage over time
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
Supplied in a pack of 12, this quantity suits a single top-up order or a small opening par. Higher-volume operations or those building an opening stock from scratch will typically need multiple packs to maintain a working par that absorbs breakage without disrupting service.
Orbita suits contemporary dining settings where plate presentation is considered. The coupe profile and Fuse Sable finish lend themselves to plated starters, desserts, and composed dishes. If your operation runs very high cover volumes or requires a larger or smaller plate diameter, it is worth discussing the full Orbita range to make sure the size and quantity work for your service pattern. The team is happy to help you plan a practical opening par.
£144.00(£172.80 inc VAT)
The Orbita range from Steelite is a coupe-profile plate with a gently flowing rim that draws attention naturally towards the centre of the dish. The Fuse Sable colourway gives the surface a warm, earthy tone that works well as a backdrop for both composed plating and more rustic presentations. At 255mm these are a practical main course size, suitable for a wide range of cuisines and service styles from casual dining through to more considered fine dining menus.
Steelite's Alumina vitrified construction is the standard that most professional kitchens expect from front-of-house tableware. It offers genuine resistance to thermal shock, which matters in operations where plates move between hot lamps, cold pass-throughs, and commercial dishwashers in rapid succession. The glaze is resistant to staining and surface damage under repeated commercial wash cycles, which helps the collection maintain a consistent appearance across a long service life.
From an operational standpoint, the Orbita coupe plates offer several practical advantages for busy kitchens:
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers without restriction
- Good heat retention supports consistent plate temperatures through service
- Coupe profile simplifies stacking and storage in busy plate stores
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, reducing replacement costs over time
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to building or restocking a working cover set
There are no specialist installation or infrastructure requirements for tableware of this kind, though it is worth considering the full cover count needed before ordering, particularly if you are launching a new concept or replacing a discontinued pattern across a larger operation. The Fuse Sable finish is part of Steelite's broader Orbita collection, so coordinating pieces such as bowls or side plates are likely available to complete a cohesive table setting.
These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotels, and contract catering operations looking for a contemporary plate with long-term durability. If you are building out a full table setting or need guidance on cover quantities and complementary pieces, the team is happy to help you work through the detail.
£144.00(£172.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe bowl is a mid-sized serving bowl designed for professional table settings. The coupe profile — shallow, wide, and rimless in style — presents food cleanly and gives chefs a versatile base for plated dishes, sharing portions, and pre-set covers. The Fuse Sable colourway is a warm, neutral tone that sits comfortably across contemporary and traditional dining aesthetics without competing with the food itself.
In service, these bowls hold up to the pace of a busy restaurant or hotel operation. Steelite's alumina vitrified construction is considerably denser than standard porcelain, which translates to better resistance to chipping, thermal shock, and glaze staining over time. For a piece that passes through a commercial dishwasher dozens of times per week, that durability matters. Heat and chill retention is also reliable, which helps maintain dish temperature between kitchen pass and table — a practical consideration for both hot and cold service.
- Full dishwasher, microwave, and freezer compatibility for flexible service use
- Alumina vitrified body resists chipping, staining, and thermal shock
- Fuse Sable finish complements a wide range of plating styles
- Supplied in a pack of 12 — practical for covers-based ordering
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
These bowls are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract caterers, and event venues where consistent presentation and reliable durability are both priorities. The 202.5mm diameter is a practical all-rounder for starters, desserts, and side dishes; operators running larger main-course portions may find a larger format more appropriate for their menu.
If you'd like to discuss quantity requirements, matching pieces within the Orbita range, or suitability for a specific service format, the team is happy to help.
£137.00(£164.40 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita range is a considered piece of tableware designed to complement food presentation without competing with it. The flowing circular form draws attention naturally to the centre of the bowl, giving chefs a clean, well-proportioned canvas. The Fuse Sable colourway adds a warm, neutral tone that works across a range of dining styles, from relaxed contemporary covers to more formal table settings.
In a busy service environment, tableware takes consistent punishment — repeated runs through commercial dishwashers, rapid temperature changes between kitchen and pass, and the inevitable knocks of a working kitchen. The Orbita tall bowl is built from alumina vitrified porcelain, which gives it good resistance to thermal shock, everyday staining, and glaze damage over time. Heat and chill retention is solid, which helps maintain presentation and temperature consistency from kitchen to table.
- Alumina vitrified construction for durability in commercial use
- Thermal shock resistance suits rapid movement between kitchen and service
- Good heat and chill retention helps maintain consistency during service
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
There are no unusual operational requirements here — these bowls integrate straightforwardly into standard front-of-house workflows. The pack of 12 is a practical quantity for most operations, though higher-volume sites running multiple sittings may want to consider holding additional covers to maintain a consistent look on the floor throughout service.
The Orbita tall bowl suits restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and event caterers looking for well-made tableware that presents food cleanly without a heavy design statement. If you are building out a full cover or matching with other Orbita pieces, it is worth having a conversation about what works across the range before ordering.
£107.00(£128.40 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe plate is a mid-sized starter or dessert plate from Steelite's Orbita collection, finished in the Fuse Tide colourway. The coupe profile — shallow, with a minimal rim — keeps the focus on the food, while the organic, flowing edge detail gives the piece a handcrafted quality that sits equally well in relaxed dining and more considered plating environments. Supplied in a pack of twelve, it is a practical buying unit for most cover counts.
In service, Orbita plates are built to handle the demands of a busy kitchen pass. The alumina vitrified construction makes them noticeably more resistant to chipping and crazing than standard porcelain, and they hold up well through repeated commercial dishwasher cycles without the glaze dulling or staining. The body retains heat reasonably well once warmed, which helps maintain plate temperature from pass to table during a busy sitting. Compatibility with microwaves and freezers gives kitchen teams flexibility in how they work.
Practical operational benefits include:
- Robust alumina vitrified body resists chipping, crazing and stain absorption
- Handles high-temperature commercial dishwashers without glaze degradation
- Suitable for microwave and freezer use, supporting flexible prep workflows
- Coupe profile provides a clean canvas for plating without rim interference
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added reassurance
These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotels, contract catering operations, and any venue where consistent, presentable tableware needs to survive high turnover. The 202.5mm diameter works well for starters, desserts, or smaller mains. Operators running larger covers or higher plate-replacement rates may want to consider buying in greater quantity to maintain a working stock. If you are unsure how many to hold or whether this size fits your menu format, the team is happy to talk it through.
£190.00(£228.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe bowl is a clean, contemporary piece from Steelite Performance's Orbita collection. The coupe profile — shallow and wide with a minimal rim — keeps the focus on the food, making it a practical choice for operators who want presentation to do the work without fussy styling. The Fuse Tide finish gives each piece a subtle, textured quality that reads as considered without being overly decorative.
In day-to-day service these bowls hold up well under the conditions typical of a busy kitchen pass. Alumina vitrified construction means they resist chipping and cracking better than standard porcelain, and the glaze is resistant to thermal shock, staining, and the cumulative wear of commercial dishwasher cycles. Heat retention is solid, which is useful when plating warm dishes ahead of service or during a busy turn. They move freely between dishwasher, microwave, and freezer, which suits kitchens where workflow flexibility matters.
- Suitable for both casual dining and more formal table settings
- Resists staining and glaze damage under regular commercial use
- Dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for opening stock or supplementing existing covers
A 255mm bowl sits comfortably across starter, dessert, and light main course applications. For operations running high cover counts, it's worth considering whether a larger pack quantity or a complementary plate size from the same collection would suit your service pattern better.
If you're unsure whether the Orbita range fits alongside your existing tableware or want to discuss pack quantities for your cover count, the team is happy to help you work it through.
£183.00(£219.60 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe plate is a rimless, flowing design that draws attention to the food at the centre of the plate. The Fuse Tide finish gives the surface a subtle, textured quality that reads as handcrafted without being decorative to the point of distraction. At 285mm, these plates are a practical size for main course plating across a broad range of cuisines and service styles.
Constructed from Steelite's alumina vitrified porcelain, Orbita plates are built to withstand the daily demands of commercial hospitality — repeated high-temperature dishwasher cycles, knocks from stacking, and the thermal stress of moving between hot pass and cold storage. The glaze is resistant to staining and surface damage, which helps plates retain their presentation quality over time rather than showing the dulling and crazing that can affect lower-grade tableware.
From an operational standpoint, the coupe profile is straightforward to stack and store efficiently, and the absence of a pronounced rim reduces handling time when plating. Practical day-to-day advantages include:
- Dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe for flexible service use
- Good heat retention to support consistent plating-to-table temperatures
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added stock longevity
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to building or topping up cover sets
The Orbita range sits comfortably across both casual dining and more considered restaurant environments. The Fuse Tide finish in particular tends to complement natural, earthy plating styles, though it works across a wider range of food presentations. For operations with very high cover volumes or significant breakage rates, it is worth considering whether a higher stock quantity makes sense from the outset.
If you're building a full cover set or want to discuss how Orbita fits alongside other tableware in your range, the team is happy to help you work through the options.
£74.49(£89.39 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita is a coupe-style plate with a gently curved profile and a subtly organic rim that draws focus naturally towards the centre of the dish. The Fuse Tide finish gives the glaze a quiet, contemporary character — neither stark white nor overtly decorative — which makes it a practical canvas across a range of plating styles, from casual all-day dining to more considered restaurant presentations.
In service, these plates perform reliably under the demands of a busy pass. The alumina vitrified body handles the thermal cycling that comes with repeated dishwasher runs, brief microwave use, and movement between cold prep and hot service without compromising the glaze or structural integrity over time. The coupe format also lends itself to cleaner plating and easier stacking, which matters when covers are high and the team is moving quickly.
- Alumina vitrified construction resists chipping, staining, and glaze damage in daily commercial use
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezer storage
- Coupe profile supports clean plating and efficient stacking
- Fuse Tide finish suits both casual and formal dining environments
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty for added confidence in professional settings
At 152.5mm, this is a starter, small plate, or side dish size rather than a main course format. It works well where a consistent, well-finished smaller plate is needed alongside a broader table setting. Steelite produce the Orbita range across multiple sizes, so if you're building a cohesive cover from side plates through to larger main plates, it's worth considering the full range together.
If you're specifying tableware across multiple covers or want guidance on which sizes work best for your menu format, we're happy to help you think it through before you order.
£120.00(£144.00 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita range is a well-regarded tableware collection designed to sit comfortably across both casual dining and more considered fine dining settings. The tall bowl format in Fuse Sable offers a neutral, contemporary finish with a gently organic rim profile that provides a clean backdrop for plated food without drawing attention away from the dish itself. These arrive as a pack of twelve, which suits the practical realities of stocking a working section.
In day-to-day service, Orbita bowls are built to handle the demands of a busy hospitality environment. The alumina vitrified construction gives them the kind of durability that operators need when crockery is moving through a commercial dishwasher multiple times each day. Resistance to thermal shock means they transition reliably between cold storage, ambient service, and the heat of a pass without the glaze crazing or cracking over time. Heat and chill retention is solid for this format, which helps maintain consistency when dishes are assembled ahead of a busy service.
- Alumina vitrified body for durability under heavy daily use
- Thermal shock resistance for use across freezer, ambient, and hot pass
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers
- Contemporary Fuse Sable finish suits a range of plating styles
- Backed by Steelite's Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty
For operators fitting out a section or replacing existing stock, the pack of twelve is a practical quantity for most covers. If you are stocking for a larger operation or want to discuss which bowl format works best for a specific menu style, the team is happy to talk it through before you order.
£144.00(£172.80 inc VAT)
The Steelite Orbita coupe plate is a rimless or near-rimless format with a gently curved profile that draws attention to the food at the centre. The Fuse Tide finish gives the plate a subtly textured, organic appearance — warm in tone and understated in character — which works well across both casual dining and more considered plating presentations. These are supplied as a pack of twelve, making them a practical quantity for initial cover builds or topping up existing stock.
In day-to-day service, alumina vitrified construction gives the plates a level of durability that holds up well under the repetitive handling, stacking, and dishwasher cycling that commercial use demands. Resistance to thermal shock means they can move between cold storage, hot pass, and plating without the glaze stress that affects lesser vitrified products. Heat retention is reasonable for a coupe format, helping dishes hold temperature between the pass and the table during a busy service.
Practically, the coupe shape is straightforward to stack, store, and handle quickly during a turn. The format suits a broad range of plating styles — portion-controlled mains, sharing plates, and contemporary starter presentations among them. Steelite backs these plates with a Lifetime Edge Chip Warranty, which is a useful reassurance in environments where chipping losses over time add up.
These plates are well suited to restaurants, hotel dining rooms, gastro pubs, and contract catering operations running a modern or contemporary table aesthetic. They are a mid-sized plate — suitable for starters, light mains, or dessert depending on portion style. Operations with very high cover volumes may want to consider building a larger initial pack quantity to allow for rotation and attrition.
If you are building or refreshing a full cover set and would like guidance on quantities or how the Orbita range fits together, we are happy to talk it through.
