The Utopia Joy Votive is a small amber-tinted crystal glass cup, sold here in a pack of six. Votives of this type are commonly used on dining tables and bar counters to hold tea lights, creating controlled ambient lighting without the need for fixed installations. The amber tint gives a warm, consistent tone to the light output while the crystal glass construction provides the clarity and finish expected in a front-of-house setting.

In practical terms, crystal glass handles day-to-day service well. It is lighter than many operators expect for a glass of this quality, which makes handling straightforward during table setup and clearing. The material holds up reliably under regular use, though as with all glassware it benefits from careful handling during washing and storage.

  • Amber tint produces warm, consistent candlelight ambience across all tables
  • Crystal glass gives a clean, polished appearance suited to restaurant and bar environments
  • Lightweight construction reduces fatigue during high-volume table setup
  • Sold in packs of six, practical for stocking across multiple covers
  • Compact footprint fits standard table settings without crowding place settings

These votives are straightforward to deploy — no installation considerations apply beyond ensuring you have an appropriate supply of tea lights and a safe storage arrangement when not in use. They are well suited to restaurants, hotels, private dining rooms, and event venues where consistent table presentation matters. For very high-volume operations running large numbers of covers simultaneously, it is worth considering whether a larger pack quantity would better suit your stocking requirements.

If you are specifying glassware across a new venue or refreshing an existing table setup, we are happy to help you work through quantities and presentation options.

Frequently asked questions

How many votives would a typical restaurant need to stock?

That depends on your cover count and how many sittings you run per service. A useful starting point is one votive per table plus a working reserve of around 20–30% to cover breakages and ensure you can always present a full set. For venues running events or private dining alongside a main restaurant, it is worth keeping a separate stock dedicated to those spaces.

Are these votives suitable for outdoor dining or terrace use?

They can be used outdoors, but wind will affect tea light performance and the glass will require more frequent cleaning due to exposure. For dedicated outdoor use, a votive with a more enclosed shape or a purpose-made storm lantern may give more reliable results in exposed conditions.

What tea lights are compatible with these votives?

Standard 38mm diameter tea lights are the most commonly used size with votives of this type and should sit securely within the cup. It is worth testing your preferred tea light brand before committing to a full stock order, as burn times and flame height vary between suppliers and will affect both the look and the service interval between replacements.
