The APS Asia teapot is a cast iron serving pot designed for front-of-house tea service, finished in black or red. Choose the colour above. Cast iron construction gives it a distinctive, traditional aesthetic that works well in settings where the presentation of hot drinks is part of the overall guest experience, whether that is a café, tearoom, hotel lounge or a restaurant with a dedicated tea menu. The black finish suits both contemporary and traditional front-of-house settings, while the red is bold and distinctive, a deliberate presentation choice that works best where that character fits the overall look of the dining space.

Cast iron retains heat well, which helps keep tea at a reasonable serving temperature from pot to table without requiring additional warmers. The material is robust and holds up well to the demands of daily service, though it does require a little more care than ceramic or stainless alternatives, particularly around drying after washing to prevent surface rust over time.

  • Cast iron construction retains heat effectively during table service
  • Two finishes: black and red
  • Robust enough for regular daily use in café or restaurant environments
  • Presents well as part of a considered tea or hot drinks service, and the Asia range offers a consistent aesthetic across the collection
  • At 1.6kg, it has a solid, quality feel appropriate for a premium table setting

At 1.6kg empty, this pot carries some weight, and staff should be aware of that when pouring for guests. It is suited to relaxed table service where individual or small-group tea service is the norm, in independent cafés, tearooms, boutique hotels and restaurants, and not to high-volume banqueting, conference or rapid-turnaround service where lighter, easier-to-handle options may be more practical.

If you are building out a tea service offering, putting together a full table setting or updating your hot drinks presentation, our team is happy to talk through what works well across different service styles.
