Each glass goes through a full tempering process that significantly increases resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock compared with standard untreated glass, making it a practical choice wherever breakage rates and replacement costs are a concern.

In a busy bar environment, glassware takes a great deal of punishment: knocked together during collection, cycled through commercial dishwashers multiple times a day, handled at speed during peak service. The Starline's toughened construction holds up well under these conditions, and the vertical groove detailing and square base improve grip when glasses are wet, which matters when staff are working quickly.
