Frequently asked questions

Is this stool suitable for a licensed bar or restaurant?

Yes. The Brooklyn meets EN16139 Level 1 for non-domestic seating strength and durability, and BS7176 for resistance to ignition — both of which are relevant requirements for licensed premises and commercial hospitality environments. It is a practical, entry-level commercial stool rather than a heavy-contract specification, so it is best suited to moderate-traffic venues rather than high-volume nightclub or stadium environments.

How does the height adjustment work, and what counter heights does it suit?

The stool uses a gas lift mechanism, so seat height can be adjusted by the person sitting on it without tools. The adjustment range covers standard bar and counter heights typically found in café and bar settings. If you have an unusually low or high counter, it is worth checking the seat height range in the technical specifications before ordering.

How easy is the PU seat to maintain in daily service?

The PU surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or mild cleaning solution, which makes routine maintenance straightforward during and after service. It is not fully waterproof, so prolonged exposure to standing liquid should be avoided. The material is practical for everyday hospitality use but is not intended for outdoor or exposed environments.
