Cambro Madeira Laminate Canteen Tray

The Cambro Madeira is a laminate canteen tray with a woodgrain surface finish, made from food-grade melamine laminate that is safe for direct food contact. It is available in two sizes, 430 x 330mm and 460 x 360mm, and in woodgrain finishes including Light Oak, Brown Oak and Light Olive. Dark Oak is available in the 460 x 360mm size. The laminate is more resistant to chipping and surface wear than plain plastic trays, and the woodgrain texture helps mask minor scuffs in high-throughput cafeterias. The trays are light enough for customers of all ages to carry a full lunch setting, and are rated from -10°C to 100°C for chilled and hot food service.

Laminate trays are not suited to very high dishwasher temperatures over extended periods, as repeated thermal cycling can affect the laminate bond. Check your warewasher temperature against the tray's rated range before ordering in volume, and measure your tray slides, dispensers or trolleys against the size you choose.

These trays suit staff restaurants, hospital cafeterias, school canteens and self-service operations that want a more presentable alternative to standard polypropylene trays. For very high-volume sites where trays take heavy daily punishment, a heavier-duty tray may last longer.
