The Churchill Stonecast Aqueous deep coupe plate is part of Churchill's Stonecast Aqueous range, a collection of super vitrified porcelain tableware finished with a hand-applied glaze that produces a distinctive pooling effect, moving between lighter and darker grey tones across the surface. No two plates are identical, which gives a considered, artisan look that complements plated food without competing with it. These plates are available in three sizes: 218mm, 239mm and 279mm. Choose your size above. Each size is sold in a pack of 12.

The deep coupe profile, a gently bowled interior, contains sauces, dressings and broths without needing a separate bowl. It suits pasta, risotto, braised meats, curries and other sauced dishes where a flat plate would let liquids spread.

Super vitrified porcelain is more durable in a commercial setting than standard porcelain. It resists chipping and crazing, copes with repeated commercial dishwasher cycles, and the glaze keeps its character with washing.

  • Hand-glazed finish gives each plate a distinctive, individually varied appearance
  • Deep coupe profile retains sauces and dressings without additional crockery
  • Super vitrified porcelain construction resists chipping under regular commercial use
  • Dishwasher safe and built to withstand commercial kitchen throughput
  • Sold in packs of 12, practical for building or supplementing a cover set

Which size to choose:

  • 218mm: starter portions, pasta, small plates and sharing-style dishes.
  • 239mm: a full main course portion without feeling oversized on a tighter cover layout.
  • 279mm: a main course plate for most contemporary covers, with bowl depth that helps portion volume read well.

Because each plate is individually glazed, some variation in tone and pattern is inherent. Operators specifying across a large cover count should accept this variation as part of the aesthetic. For very high-volume, fast-turnaround operations where strict uniformity matters, a standard-finish plate in the Churchill range may be a better fit. These plates suit independent restaurants, bistros, boutique hotels, gastropubs and hotel dining rooms. If you are working through a larger tableware specification, the team is happy to help with sizing and quantities.
