The 240mm size gives more clearance for most standard round sponge cakes, though a particularly tall or wide cake may sit close to the edges, so it is worth measuring your typical cake before ordering.

There are no installation requirements. The dome needs only a flat, stable surface and a suitable base or cake stand, neither of which is included. The domes have a reasonable weight for their size, so the base should be stable enough to prevent accidental tipping in a busy service area. Check your available counter space before ordering, as the footprint is fixed and the domes do not stack or nest.

These domes are for ambient counter display only, not for use on heated or refrigerated units. They suit cafés, tearooms, hotel breakfast counters and restaurant dessert displays.
