Royal Bone China
Royal Bone China Ascot Embossed Coupe Plates (Pack of 6)
£38.24(£45.89 inc VAT)
The Royal Bone China Ascot embossed coupe plate comes in two sizes, 225mm and 290mm, both supplied in packs of six. Each plate is finished in bone china with a subtle linear embossment around the rim. The coupe profile, a shallow bowl without a defined rim shoulder, draws the eye to the centre of the plate and keeps the focus on the food.
Bone china is noticeably lighter than standard porcelain or stoneware, which helps during a busy service when staff carry several covers at once. The 225mm plate weighs 390g and the 290mm plate weighs 690g. It is also denser and less porous than many alternatives, giving good chip resistance, and the finish holds up to regular commercial dishwashing with suitable detergent concentrations and rack spacing.
- Two sizes: 225mm and 290mm
- Lightweight bone china eases the load during multi-plate waiter carries
- Denser than standard porcelain, with good chip resistance for its weight
- Coupe profile suits modern plating styles and tasting menu presentations
- Subtle rim embossment adds visual detail without competing with the food
- Pack of six simplifies ordering in quantities aligned to cover counts
These plates are well suited to hotel restaurants, fine dining and banqueting where presentation standards are high and service volumes demand reliable, lightweight tableware. They are less suited to high-turnover casual dining where heavier-duty stoneware may offer better resilience at lower cost.
If you are matching across a range of plate sizes and shapes, or specifying tableware for a new opening, speak to our team and we will be happy to advise.
