Steelite Baja Melamine Round Bowls 190mm (Pack of 24)

The Steelite Baja round bowl is part of the Baja melamine collection, a range designed for casual and contemporary dining where durability matters as much as presentation. Choose from Cactus, Lagoon or Sandstone: each bowl has a hand-brushed decorative finish in a natural, earthy tone with a contrasting darker exterior. Because the finish is applied during manufacture, no two pieces look identical, which suits relaxed, informal table settings.

Melamine is a practical choice where breakage is a recurring cost. It handles the knocks of busy service, tray stacking and frequent dishwasher cycles better than ceramic, which makes it common in high-turnover casual dining, cafes, buffet service, and outdoor or courtyard dining. The bowls are suitable for hot and cold dishes.

• Break-resistant melamine construction reduces replacement costs in high-turnover environments
• Hand-brushed decorative finish in Cactus, Lagoon or Sandstone
• Suitable for hot and cold dishes across a range of service styles
• 190mm diameter suits starters, sides, soup, desserts and small sharing dishes
• Dishwasher-safe for straightforward kitchen turnaround
• Supplied in a pack of 24, practical for opening stock or topping up a set

Melamine is not suitable for microwave use, and some operators find the look less fitting for formal or fine-dining service, where ceramic or porcelain from the wider Steelite range is the usual choice.

If you are equipping a new site or standardising across a number of covers, the team are happy to discuss quantities and whether the Baja range suits your style of service.
