The walled profile, a shallow raised rim, keeps sauced dishes, plated mains and composed sides contained on the plate without the depth of a bowl. The Bayou colourway draws on tonal blues and fluid, water-influenced patterning that gives the range a handcrafted character suited to contemporary and casual dining.

Made from super vitrified porcelain, the plate is built for repeated commercial service. Super vitrified construction is denser and more chip-resistant than standard hospitality china, which matters where plates are stacked, slid and handled constantly across a full shift. The finish performs reliably through commercial dishwasher cycles. The reactive glaze produces minor variation between individual pieces. This is characteristic of the Stonecast range and not a defect.
