Araven
Araven Thick Grain Dispenser 350g
£6.46(£7.75 inc VAT)
The Araven Thick Grain Dispenser is a straightforward squeeze-bottle style dispenser made from HDPE and LDPE, designed specifically to handle coarser, granular ingredients such as rock salt, mixed peppercorns, dried herb blends, and similar seasoning mixes that would clog or flow poorly through a standard sauce or liquid dispenser.
In a working kitchen environment, consistent and controlled portioning of spice mixes matters — both for food consistency and for waste reduction. The wider dispensing aperture on this bottle allows coarser grains to move freely without bridging or blockage, which is a common frustration with general-purpose squeeze bottles used for the same purpose. The lightweight construction keeps it practical on the pass or prep station, and the soft-sided body allows controlled dispensing pressure.
- Suitable for rock salt, coarse pepper, dried herbs, and mixed seasoning blends
- Soft HDPE/LDPE body allows precise squeeze control during service
- Lightweight and easy to handle during fast-paced prep or plating
- Simple to rinse and refill between service periods
- Compact footprint suits prep benches, pass areas, and mise en place setups
At 350g capacity, this is well suited to smaller prep stations or as part of a set of dispensers covering different seasoning types. Kitchens with higher throughput or larger prep volumes may find a larger-capacity version better suited to their needs, reducing the frequency of refills during busy service.
If you're putting together a seasoning station or standardising your dispensing kit across sections, we're happy to help you work out what makes sense for your setup.

Frequently asked questions
What types of ingredients is this dispenser suitable for?
It is designed for coarser, granular ingredients such as rock salt, cracked or mixed peppercorns, dried herb blends, and similar seasoning mixes. The wider aperture prevents the bridging and blockage issues that are common when these ingredients are used in standard narrow-nozzle squeeze bottles.
Is 350g capacity enough for a busy service kitchen?
For a single prep station or a low-to-moderate volume service, 350g is generally adequate. In higher-throughput kitchens where a seasoning blend is used heavily across multiple sections, a larger-capacity version of the same dispenser would reduce the need for frequent refills during service.
How should this dispenser be cleaned between uses?
The soft HDPE/LDPE body can be emptied, rinsed with warm water, and air-dried between service periods. For a thorough clean — particularly when switching between different seasoning types — it is straightforward to fully invert and flush. Always ensure it is completely dry before refilling to prevent clumping of dry ingredients.
