GripSafe is a roll of flexible PVC foam matting designed to line shelves, drawers, trays, and work surfaces where preventing items from sliding is a practical concern. It arrives as a 0.6m wide, 10m long roll and can be cut to any length or shape with scissors or a blade, making a single roll suitable for fitting out multiple areas of a kitchen, bar, or storage room.

In a working kitchen or bar environment, unsecured items on shelves and in drawers shift during busy service. Glassware, containers, and small equipment move when doors are opened quickly or surfaces are bumped, which can lead to breakages and wasted time resetting. A textured foam liner provides enough grip to keep items where they are placed without fixing anything permanently in position.

Practically speaking, GripSafe earns its place through a combination of straightforward properties:

• Textured surface grips items from below, reducing movement on shelves and in drawers
• Soft PVC foam cushions glassware and fragile items, reducing breakage risk
• Cuts cleanly with standard scissors or a blade — no specialist tools required
• Machine washable, so it can be removed, cleaned, and refitted as part of routine hygiene schedules
• Suitable for a range of surfaces including wire shelving, timber, and laminate

Installation is simply a matter of cutting to size and laying in place — there is no adhesive, no tools, and no preparation required. The liner sits flat under its own weight. One roll typically covers a meaningful number of shelves or drawers depending on the sizes involved, though it is worth measuring your shelving runs before ordering to confirm you have enough material.

This liner is well suited to bar and kitchen environments where glassware or crockery is stored on open shelving, or where drawers hold small tools and utensils that would otherwise rattle around. It is a modest, reliable solution for a common operational nuisance rather than a piece of capital equipment — but in the right setting it earns its keep quickly.

If you are unsure how many rolls you need for a full fit-out, or whether this weight of liner is appropriate for what you have in mind, feel free to have a word with us before ordering.
