Burco

The Burco AFF10CT is a 10-litre mains-fed water boiler with an integrated filtration system, designed for continuous hot water service in light commercial environments. Rather than relying on staff to top it up manually, it draws directly from a cold water supply and maintains its own water level throughout the service period. The built-in filter reduces limescale and improves water taste — a practical consideration in hard water areas where untreated water can shorten equipment life and affect beverage quality.

For front-of-house tea and coffee service in cafés, hotel breakfast operations, office kitchens, and meeting suites, this boiler provides a reliable, low-maintenance supply of boiling water without constant attention. The autofill function removes the risk of the boiler running dry during a busy spell, and an eco-mode helps manage energy consumption when demand drops off — useful wherever the unit is left running across long shifts.

Key operational benefits include:

• Autofill removes the need for manual topping up during service
• Integrated filter reduces limescale build-up and protects internal components
• Eco-mode lowers running costs during quieter periods
• Plugs into a standard 13-amp socket — no dedicated electrical supply required
• Stainless steel construction and chrome tap stand up to regular daily use

Installation is straightforward, but a mains cold water connection must be accessible at the intended position before the unit is placed. It is worth confirming this before purchasing. At 10 litres, this boiler is well matched to lower-volume settings; for sites with consistently high footfall across a full trading day, a larger-capacity model would be worth considering.

If you are weighing up whether this capacity is the right fit for your operation, we are happy to talk it through before you order.

The Burco AFF20CT is a mains-fed autofill water boiler with an integrated water filter, designed for commercial and semi-commercial environments where a continuous, reliable supply of hot water is needed throughout the service day. Unlike manual-fill boilers, it draws directly from the cold mains supply, removing the need for staff to top it up by hand and eliminating the risk of the element running dry during a busy period.

In practice, this type of boiler performs well in canteens, cafés, hotel breakfast services, and staffed hospitality counters where hot water demand is steady and sustained. It can support a high number of hot drink servings across an extended service period without significant recovery delays — making it a more practical choice for prolonged busy periods than for intense short peaks at very high volume.

The built-in filtration tackles two common concerns in commercial beverage service: water taste and limescale accumulation. Filtration won't eliminate the need for descaling, but it does reduce the frequency and helps extend the working life of the heating element — a worthwhile consideration for sites in hard-water areas. The adjustable temperature setting is useful where the menu includes herbal or speciality teas that are best served below a full boil.

• Autofill from mains supply removes manual topping-up and dry-boil risk
• Integrated filter improves drink quality and reduces limescale build-up
• Adjustable temperature suits standard and speciality tea and hot drinks menus
• Eco-mode programming helps manage running costs during quieter periods
• Chrome tap with selectable flow control and a generously sized drip tray

Installation requires a mains cold water connection alongside a standard 13-amp plug socket, which keeps setup straightforward for most commercial sites. No hardwired electrical supply is needed, though the water feed will require a competent plumber to connect. It is not intended as a replacement for a full-capacity urn in high-volume central production kitchens, but for front-of-house or dedicated beverage station use it balances capacity with a compact footprint well.

This boiler is well suited to small-to-medium catering operations, hotel beverage stations, office canteens, and café counters with moderate-to-busy service volumes. Operators running significantly higher volumes, or supplying multiple service points at once, may find a larger-capacity unit a better fit for their operation.

If you'd like to talk through whether this model suits your service volume or water supply arrangement, the team is happy to help before you make a decision.

The Burco MFCT10STHF is a 10-litre manual fill water boiler built in stainless steel. It heats water without any mains plumbing connection — water is added by hand, heated via a 3kW element, and dispensed on demand. A dial thermostat allows temperature control up to 97°C. The unit runs from a standard 13A plug socket, which makes positioning straightforward wherever hot water is needed.

This type of boiler is commonly used where a fixed plumbed-in unit is either impractical or unnecessary. Staff rooms, waiting areas, site cabins, mobile catering setups, and temporary or pop-up event spaces are all typical applications. It also works well as a secondary hot water source in a larger operation — useful during service peaks or in areas away from the main kitchen. The 3kW element supports reasonable heat-up times for its capacity, though it is worth being clear-eyed about throughput: this is not a continuous-draw boiler suited to sustained back-to-back demand.

Practical points worth keeping in mind:

• No plumbing connection required — repositionable as needs change
• Runs from a standard 13A plug socket, no dedicated supply needed
• Adjustable thermostat gives control over dispensing temperature
• Stainless steel construction is robust and straightforward to wipe down
• Lightweight build makes it easy to move between locations

The manual fill design does require some operational discipline — the unit needs topping up by hand, and in a busy environment it is easy for staff to let it run low during service. For higher-footfall settings or anywhere hot water demand is continuous, a plumbed-in unit with a larger reservoir would be a more practical fit.

If you are weighing up whether this capacity suits your situation, or comparing manual fill against a plumbed alternative, we are glad to help you think it through.

The Burco MFCT20STHF is a 20-litre manual fill water boiler built for locations where a plumbed-in water supply either isn't available or simply isn't worth the installation. Water is added by hand, heated by a 3kW element, and held at temperature via a dial-controlled thermostat. There are no complicated controls and no infrastructure requirements — it plugs in and works wherever it's needed.

In practice, this type of boiler suits environments where demand is steady but not relentless. A 20-litre capacity will comfortably cover a run of teas and coffees during a buffet service or a break period in a welfare facility, and the 3kW element provides reasonable recovery once the vessel has been drawn down. It won't match the continuous throughput of a plumbed-in boiler, nor is it intended to. For mobile catering setups, hospitality points, waiting rooms, site offices, or back-of-house staff facilities, it handles the job reliably without needing anything built around it.

The stainless steel construction is practical for commercial use — straightforward to wipe down, resistant to the corrosion that water contact inevitably brings, and robust enough for regular daily use.

• No plumbing required — genuinely portable between service locations
• Simple dial thermostat keeps water at temperature without over-complication
• Stainless steel body cleans quickly and withstands regular commercial use
• Well suited to buffets, welfare facilities, hospitality points and mobile catering
• Compact footprint sits comfortably on a standard counter or serving table

The key practical consideration is the manual fill requirement. During a busy period, someone needs to monitor the water level and refill as needed. For high-footfall sites where hot water demand is continuous, a plumbed-in boiler is almost certainly the more appropriate solution. This unit is best suited to moderate, predictable demand where the simplicity and portability of a standalone appliance are genuine advantages rather than compromises.

If you're weighing this up against a plumbed alternative, or want to check whether the 20-litre capacity fits your service pattern, the team is happy to talk it through.

The Burco MFCT30STHF is a 30-litre countertop water boiler finished in stainless steel. It is a manual fill unit, meaning the tank is topped up by hand rather than drawing from a plumbed water supply. This makes it a straightforward, low-installation option for sites where running a water feed to a serving counter is not practical or cost-effective.

In service, the 3kW heating element brings the tank up to temperature reliably and handles recovery between draws well enough to support steady, moderate demand through a typical service period. It is a common choice for staff canteens, small cafés, event catering, and front-of-house beverage stations where hot water is needed consistently but not at the continuous high volume that a plumbed auto-fill boiler would be required to handle.

Features that translate into practical day-to-day value include:

• A patented locking tap that switches between constant and controlled flow, reducing the risk of accidental dispensing during service
• A non-drip tap design that helps keep countertops cleaner between pours
• A cool-touch plastic lid handle, making refilling safer for operators
• A neon power indicator for clear at-a-glance status during a busy service
• Stainless steel construction that is quick to wipe down at the end of a shift

Setup requirements are minimal. The unit runs from a standard 13A socket with no plumbing involved, so placement is flexible and can be adjusted between services if needed. The main operational consideration worth noting is that staff need to monitor the water level and refill the tank before it runs low — this requires a little more active management than a plumbed equivalent, and is worth factoring in during busy periods.

This boiler suits small cafés, office canteens, event catering teams, and hospitality operations where hot water demand is steady rather than intensive. For higher-volume sites or operations that need uninterrupted supply without manual intervention, a plumbed auto-fill model would be the more practical choice.

If you are weighing up whether this capacity is right for your expected throughput, or whether a manual fill approach suits your setup, we are glad to talk it through before you order.

The Burco AFF5CT is a countertop water boiler with an integrated filtration system, designed to connect directly to a mains cold water supply. Unlike manual-fill boilers, it tops itself up automatically, meaning operators do not need to monitor water levels or interrupt service to refill. The built-in filter treats incoming water before it is heated, which improves the taste of hot drinks and reduces the rate of internal limescale accumulation — a practical consideration in areas with hard water.

In day-to-day service, the auto-fill mechanism removes a routine task from the team without requiring any additional equipment or complex installation. The unit runs from a standard 13-amp socket and needs only a mains cold water connection nearby, so there is no hardwiring involved and no specialist trades are required to install it. Before ordering, it is worth confirming that your counter has both a water supply point and a power outlet within practical reach.

The main operational advantages for a working kitchen or hospitality setting:

• Mains-fed auto-fill removes the need for manual monitoring during service
• Integrated filtration improves drink quality and slows internal scale build-up
• Eco mode reduces energy draw during quieter periods
• Stainless steel body is straightforward to wipe down and maintain hygienically
• Drip tray can be plumbed directly to a drain to simplify housekeeping

This model is well suited to small to medium operations — a café, deli, hotel breakfast station, or office catering facility — where a reliable, filtered hot water supply is needed throughout the day without significant capital investment. For sites with considerably higher throughput or where multiple draw points are needed simultaneously, a larger-capacity unit would be worth considering.

If you are weighing up whether this model suits your service volume or site layout, we are happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Burco AFF5WM is a compact, wall-mounted water boiler that draws directly from the mains water supply and heats on a continuous auto-fill basis. The integrated filtration system treats incoming water before it reaches the element, which helps limit scale accumulation and maintains the quality of hot water delivered at the tap. At 5 litres, it is designed for steady, moderate demand rather than high-volume continuous service.

In practice, this unit performs reliably in settings where demand is consistent but not intensive — a small café, a hotel breakfast area, a staffroom, a hospitality suite, or a servery feeding a modest number of covers. The auto-fill function means operators do not need to monitor or manually refill the boiler during service, which is a genuine practical advantage where staff time is stretched. The adjustable temperature range gives some flexibility across different hot drink requirements.

Operational advantages for day-to-day use include:

• Mains auto-fill removes manual intervention during service periods
• Built-in filtration reduces limescale and helps protect the heating element
• Wall-mounted installation keeps counter and worktop space clear
• Stainless steel construction is easy to clean and maintain hygienically
• Adjustable temperature output suits a range of hot drink applications

Installation requires a mains cold water connection and an appropriate electrical supply. Hardwiring is the recommended approach for a permanent wall-mounted installation and should be carried out by a qualified electrician rather than relying on a standard 13-amp plug socket. The wall fixing point must be capable of bearing the unit's full weight when the boiler is in use.

This boiler suits smaller hospitality operations, office catering facilities, and staff welfare areas well. For sites with higher throughput or the need for continuous heavy-volume output, a larger-capacity auto-fill model would be a more appropriate fit.

If you have questions about whether the output suits your expected demand, or want to talk through the installation requirements before ordering, the team is glad to help.

The Burco AFF10WM is a mains-fed, wall-mounted water boiler with a 10-litre reservoir and integrated filtration. It connects directly to a mains water supply and refills automatically, maintaining a ready supply of hot water without any manual intervention. The built-in filter reduces limescale and helps remove impurities from the water before it reaches the tap, which benefits both drink quality and the long-term condition of the heating elements.

In a working service environment, the autofill function is the most operationally significant feature. Manual-fill boilers depend on staff remembering to refill them at the right moment — something that rarely happens reliably during a busy period. With the AFF10WM, the tank stays full throughout service without anyone having to monitor it. The temperature is adjustable across a wide range, which is useful where different beverages require different brew temperatures. The tap can be set to either controllable or constant flow depending on the pace of service, and an eco mode reduces energy draw during quieter periods without requiring the unit to be switched off entirely.

Day-to-day operational advantages include:

• Autofill operation keeps the tank ready throughout service without staff intervention
• Integrated filtration improves drink quality and slows limescale accumulation
• Adjustable temperature suits different hot beverage types from the same unit
• Wall-mounted position frees counter space in compact service areas
• Replaceable filter cartridge keeps routine maintenance straightforward

Installation requires a suitable load-bearing wall, access to a mains cold water feed, and an electrical supply. The unit can run from a 13-amp plug socket, though a hardwired connection is generally the better choice for a fixed installation. The stainless steel casing is practical for commercial use, and the tank is accessible for periodic cleaning and descaling. Filter cartridge replacement should be built into the site's routine maintenance schedule — the interval will depend on local water hardness and usage volume.

This boiler is well suited to cafés, sandwich shops, smaller restaurant front-of-house areas, and workplace catering facilities where consistent hot water is needed without sacrificing counter space. It handles moderate service volumes comfortably. For higher-output sites or operations with sharper peak demand, a larger-capacity autofill model would be worth considering instead.

If you are weighing this up against the demands of your service or have questions about the installation setup, the team is glad to help you work through it before you commit.

The Burco AFF7WM is a wall-mounted, mains-fed water boiler with a 7.5 litre capacity and an integrated filtration system. It connects directly to the water supply and refills automatically, removing the need to manually top up throughout the day. Hot water is dispensed via a single tap, and the wall-mounted format keeps worktop space clear — a practical consideration in kitchens and serveries where bench space is at a premium.

In service, the boiler is designed to keep pace with steady, continuous demand rather than occasional high-volume draws. The autofill mechanism means it replenishes as water is used, maintaining availability across a shift without staff needing to monitor levels. The built-in filter helps manage limescale, which is particularly relevant in hard-water areas where scale build-up can affect both water quality and element longevity. Keeping on top of filter replacement is straightforward and helps protect the unit's efficiency over time.

From an operational standpoint, the key advantages of this unit are:

• Wall-mounted installation frees up worktop and counter space
• Autofill connection removes the need for manual refilling during service
• Integrated filtration supports consistent water quality and reduces scale build-up
• ECO mode helps reduce energy consumption during quieter periods
• Stainless steel construction is straightforward to keep clean

Installation requires a mains cold water connection and a suitable power supply — hardwiring is recommended for a neat, permanent installation, though a 13A connection is also an option depending on your setup. The unit is wall-mounted, so you will need to confirm that the fixing surface is suitable for the weight of the filled boiler before installation. It is worth involving a qualified plumber and electrician at the planning stage.

This boiler is well suited to cafés, hotel serveries, staff rooms, and smaller hospitality operations with consistent but moderate hot water demand throughout the day. It is not designed for sites needing to serve large volumes simultaneously — for higher-throughput operations, a larger-capacity unit would be more appropriate.

If you are unsure whether this model is the right fit for your service pattern or installation setup, the team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Burco AFF3WM is a compact, wall-mounted water boiler with automatic fill and integrated filtration. It connects directly to a mains water supply and refills itself, eliminating the need for manual topping up. The built-in filter improves water quality at the point of draw, which matters both for taste in drinks service and for reducing limescale accumulation inside the unit over time.

In a working kitchen or café environment, the AFF3WM is well suited to steady, moderate demand rather than high-volume continuous service. The rapid draw-off capacity means it can handle a short burst of consecutive drinks orders without running dry, and the heat-up time keeps waiting periods brief when the unit cycles back to temperature. For lower-traffic periods, the programmable ECO mode reduces energy draw, which is a practical consideration for operations where the boiler runs throughout the day.

From an operational standpoint, the wall-mounted format is one of the more useful practical features on a unit this size:

• Frees up counter and worktop space in tight service areas
• Autofill removes manual refilling from staff workflows
• Integrated filtration helps reduce limescale and extends service intervals
• Adjustable temperature control between 70°C and 98°C suits different drink types
• ECO mode helps manage energy consumption during quieter trading periods

Installation requires a mains cold water connection and a suitable power supply — the unit is typically hardwired, though your installer will confirm the appropriate connection method for your site. Wall-fixing must be to a surface capable of supporting the unit when full. At 6.94kg empty, it is a lightweight piece of kit, but the mounting point and pipework access need planning before fitting. The stainless steel body is straightforward to wipe down and keep clean in daily use.

This model is a practical choice for staff rooms, small cafés, pub back-of-house areas, and similar settings where demand is consistent but not exceptionally high. It is less suited to large hospitality operations or high-footfall counter service where a higher-capacity unit would be a more reliable fit. If you are unsure whether the output matches your expected demand, it is worth having a conversation before ordering.

If you would like to talk through whether this model suits your setup, the team is happy to help you work it out.
