The Dick Black Textile Knife Roll Bag is a straightforward, well-made storage and transport solution for professional kitchen knives. Constructed from durable textile with a Dick embroidered logo, it holds up to six knives securely in individual slots, keeping blades separated and protected whether the bag is in use on a pass or being carried between sites.

For chefs who move between kitchens — whether working freelance, across multiple sites, or attending events and competitions — a reliable knife roll is an everyday piece of kit. The textile construction keeps the overall weight low, and the roll format means it packs down flat when empty, taking up minimal space in a locker or kit bag.

  • Six individual knife slots keep blades safely separated during transport
  • Textile construction is lightweight and easy to wipe down
  • Dick embroidered branding reflects professional-grade quality
  • Roll-and-tie format suits compact storage in lockers or kit bags
  • Suitable for a range of knife sizes across the six slots

It is worth noting that this bag holds six knives — if your kit extends beyond that, or if you regularly carry carving tools, steels, or scissors alongside your knives, a larger roll with additional slots or a dedicated chef's bag may serve you better. Knives are sold separately.

If you are unsure whether this roll suits the knives you carry, or would like to discuss the wider range of knife storage options, feel free to get in touch — we are happy to point you in the right direction.

Frequently asked questions

What size knives will fit in the Dick 6-Slot Textile Roll Bag?

The bag is designed to accommodate a range of standard professional kitchen knife sizes, including typical chef's knives and similar blades. If you carry particularly long slicing knives or unusually wide blades, it is worth checking the dimensions listed — the bag measures 430 x 500mm when laid flat — or contacting us before ordering.

Is this roll bag suitable for a chef who works across multiple sites?

Yes, the roll-and-tie format and lightweight textile construction make it a practical choice for chefs who move between kitchens regularly. It packs down flat when empty and is easy to carry alongside other kit.

Can I carry tools other than knives — such as a steel or scissors — in this roll?

The bag has six knife slots and is designed specifically for knife storage rather than a mixed tool kit. If you regularly carry a sharpening steel, scissors, or peeling tools alongside your knives, a larger chef's bag or a roll with additional pockets would likely serve you better.
