iSi Cream Whipper Bulbs — Pack of 10
£10.60(£12.72 inc VAT)
These are the standard N2O charger bulbs made by iSi, sold in a pack of ten and compatible with iSi cream whippers. Each steel bulb contains nitrous oxide, which is the gas that pressurises the whipper and aerates the cream or other liquid inside. They are single-use consumables — once discharged into the whipper, they are spent and should be disposed of responsibly.
In a busy pastry section or dessert service, running out of chargers mid-service is a straightforward problem with an equally straightforward fix — keeping a spare pack on hand. The iSi bulbs are consistent in fill and seal quality, which matters when you need reliable aeration across multiple covers. A poorly sealed or underfilled bulb can produce inconsistent results that disrupt both presentation and workflow.
- Reliable gas charge for consistent cream aeration
- Steel construction — robust in a working kitchen environment
- Compatible with iSi cream whippers
- Sold in a practical pack of ten for ongoing service use
- Single-use design ensures consistent pressure every time
These bulbs are suited to any operation using an iSi whipper for whipped cream, mousses, foams, or infusions — from hotel restaurants and gastro pubs to patisseries and event catering kitchens. If you are using a different brand of whipper, it is worth checking compatibility before ordering, as bulb threads and tolerances can vary between manufacturers.
If you have questions about which bulbs or whipper setup best fits your service style, the team is happy to help you work it out.

Frequently asked questions
Are these bulbs compatible with all cream whippers or only iSi models?
These bulbs are manufactured by iSi and are designed for use with iSi cream whippers. While the thread size is common across many whipper brands, compatibility is not guaranteed with non-iSi models. If you are unsure whether your whipper is compatible, it is worth checking the manufacturer's documentation or speaking to us before ordering.
How many bulbs would a typical busy kitchen go through in a service?
Each bulb charges the whipper once, so usage depends on how often the whipper is recharged during service. A busy dessert section preparing individual portions to order might use several bulbs per service, while a kitchen pre-preparing whipped elements in batches may use fewer. A pack of ten is a sensible working stock for most kitchens running regular dessert covers.
How should spent bulbs be disposed of once used?
Once discharged, the bulbs are empty steel cylinders and should be disposed of in accordance with your local waste management guidelines. Most commercial kitchens treat them as scrap metal. They should never be punctured or incinerated, and any bulb that appears to have not fully discharged should be handled with care.
