The Kubus KMDR4HT is a 1525mm wide drop-in self-service multideck designed to be set into a freestanding countertop installation. It provides open-front chilled display across three adjustable glass shelves, a chilled GN well beneath the display area, and double-glazed hinged rear doors for staff restocking — all within a relatively compact footprint for its display capacity. The unit is cooled using an R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant system with the condensing unit mounted underslung, ventilated through the air grilles and rear vent supplied with the unit.

In a busy retail or food service environment, the KMDR4HT is built for continuous 24-hour operation and maintains food core temperatures within the safe chilled range throughout service. The double-glazed rear doors help retain cold during quieter periods, and the chilled shelving and well together provide a useful combined display area for pre-packaged products, deli items, drinks, and similar goods. The diffused gantry lighting presents product clearly without hotspots, and the eye-level digital temperature display gives staff an at-a-glance check during service.

Because the refrigeration is self-contained and underslung, no remote condenser or separate plantroom provision is required, which simplifies installation considerably. That said, the ventilation path for the condensing unit must be kept clear in the finished counter build — this is worth confirming with your counter manufacturer or installer before ordering.

This unit is well suited to supermarkets, convenience stores, food-to-go operations, delicatessen counters, and similar retail food environments where customers serve themselves and staff restock from behind. The 1525mm width and four-GN capacity make it a practical mid-size choice for sites with moderate to high display volume.
