Multidecks

The Polar U-Series 950mm multideck is an open-fronted refrigerated display unit designed for self-service retail environments — grab-and-go counters, café service areas, convenience stores, and similar settings where customers need clear, accessible sight lines to chilled products. It operates within a standard chill range, maintaining product temperature consistently through forced air circulation rather than passive cooling.

In a busy service environment, the key test for any multideck is how reliably it holds temperature when the unit is being opened frequently throughout the day. The U-Series uses an airwing design that helps maintain a stable cold air curtain across the open face, which reduces temperature fluctuation during periods of high customer traffic. The unit is also rated to perform in ambient conditions up to 32°C, which matters in sites where kitchen or service area heat can build during peak hours.

The R290 refrigerant used in this unit is a low-global-warming-potential hydrocarbon gas that also carries good thermodynamic efficiency, contributing to reduced energy consumption over time — a relevant consideration for any operator running display refrigeration continuously. LED lighting provides good product visibility without adding unnecessary heat load into the cabinet. Practical operational benefits include:

• Forced air cooling helps maintain even temperature distribution across all shelf levels
• Lockable insulated shutter secures stock outside of trading hours
• LED lighting improves product presentation without raising internal temperatures
• R290 refrigerant supports lower running costs over the unit's working life
• Stainless steel construction is straightforward to clean and durable under daily use

Installation requires a standard mains electrical supply and adequate floor space to allow airflow around the unit — the rear and sides should not be built tightly against walls or cabinetry in a way that restricts ventilation. At 175kg, positioning the unit will require appropriate handling equipment and a level, load-bearing floor. It is worth considering the ambient temperature of the intended location: the unit is designed for standard commercial environments and performs well in warm conditions, but placement directly in front of heat sources or in very poorly ventilated spaces should be avoided.

This model is well suited to small to medium-volume retail, café, or food-to-go operations where a single bay of accessible chilled display is sufficient for the product range on offer. For sites with higher throughput, larger footfall, or a wider chilled range requiring multiple bays, a higher-capacity configuration would be worth considering.

If you are unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your space or service volume, the team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit to a purchase.

The Cossiga DTGOR6 is a 600mm wide open front multideck refrigerator designed for front-of-house chilled display in commercial catering and foodservice settings. It holds product across four adjustable shelves and keeps everything accessible without the barrier of doors — a practical arrangement wherever speed of access and product visibility are priorities throughout the service day.

Open front multidecks perform well in counter service and retail-style environments where the cabinet is being accessed continuously. Shelf-mounted air curtains work to maintain temperature stability across the cabinet face, which matters in warmer service areas where an unsupported open front would otherwise struggle to hold temperature. Forced air circulation distributes cooling evenly across all shelf levels, so product quality stays consistent from the top shelf down rather than varying with proximity to the evaporator.

From an operational standpoint the DTGOR6 offers several practical advantages:

• Under-shelf and canopy LED lighting improves product visibility without adding significant heat load inside the cabinet
• Ticket strips on each shelf support clear product labelling — useful in grab-and-go or deli counter settings
• A slow-release night blind reduces energy loss during closed periods without requiring full restocking at opening
• The removable front grille makes routine cleaning and maintenance access straightforward to build into daily hygiene routines
• R290 natural refrigerant replaces HFC gases, which is worth noting for operators working to reduce environmental impact

The integral condenser keeps the footprint compact. The unit is rated for climate class M1, meaning it is designed to operate reliably in standard indoor catering environments rather than unusually warm or humid conditions. If your service area runs warm — close to cooking equipment or with limited air conditioning — it is worth confirming that ambient conditions fall within the operating range before committing. Optional sliding front doors are available if fully open front operation is not appropriate for your site.

The DTGOR6 is well suited to cafés, sandwich bars, delis, and smaller foodservice counters where chilled display is central to the service offer. At 600mm wide it works as a standalone unit or as part of a counter run. For sites with higher product volume or more extensive display requirements, a wider or multi-section configuration is likely a better fit.

If you would like to talk through whether this unit suits your counter layout or ambient conditions, the team is happy to help before you make a decision.

The Polar U-Series 1250mm multideck is an open-fronted display refrigerator designed for self-service environments where product visibility and easy access matter. It holds chilled stock within a 2°C to 5°C range and is commonly used in cafés, convenience retail, staff canteens, and food-to-go counters where customers are expected to select their own items.

In a busy service environment, consistent temperature holding is the primary concern with any open-fronted unit. The U-Series uses forced-air circulation combined with an airwing design to maintain stable conditions across all shelf levels, even during periods of high footfall when the cabinet is repeatedly browsed. Polar have rated this unit for ambient conditions up to 32°C, which makes it a reasonable choice for kitchens and serveries that run warm. The R290 refrigerant contributes to energy efficiency without affecting food safety performance — a practical consideration given the running hours these units typically accumulate.

From an operational standpoint, the key advantages are:

• Open-fronted design supports fast, uninterrupted customer self-service
• LED lighting improves product presentation without generating excess heat
• Lockable insulated night shutter protects stock outside trading hours
• Stainless steel construction supports straightforward daily cleaning routines
• R290 refrigerant keeps energy consumption lower over extended operating periods

Installation requires a standard single-phase mains connection and adequate floor space for the 1250mm width and 670mm depth. At 215kg, the unit will need appropriate flooring and handling equipment during installation. It is not suitable for outdoor positioning or unheated storage areas. If your site runs significantly warmer than typical or the unit will face unusually heavy browsing traffic, it is worth discussing whether a higher-specification model would be more appropriate for your environment.

This multideck is well suited to small to mid-size food-to-go operations, café counters, and convenience retail settings with moderate throughput. For larger retail displays or higher-volume chilled ranges, broader or multi-bay configurations may serve better.

If you are unsure whether this unit is the right fit for your counter layout or service environment, our team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Polar U-Series multideck display fridge in 1550mm width is an open-fronted refrigerated display unit designed for self-service grab-and-go environments. It keeps chilled products visible and accessible to customers while maintaining a consistent holding temperature throughout the cabinet. The unit is built in stainless steel and uses R290 refrigerant, which carries a lower global warming potential than older refrigerant types and is increasingly specified in commercial environments where energy and environmental credentials matter.

In practice, the forced-air cooling system gives this unit reliable temperature stability across the full shelf depth, which is important when the cabinet is opened repeatedly during a busy service period. The airwing design helps maintain the cold curtain at the open face, reducing the load on the refrigeration circuit when ambient temperatures rise. Polar rate this unit for ambient conditions up to 32°C, which makes it a practical choice for sites without full air conditioning, though performance in persistently hot back-of-house areas is worth discussing before committing.

From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages include:

• LED lighting that illuminates product presentation without adding significant heat load to the cabinet
• An insulated lockable shutter for overnight security without powering down the unit
• Forced-air circulation that supports consistent temperature across all shelf positions
• R290 refrigerant, which reduces long-term refrigerant cost and aligns with current environmental direction
• Stainless steel construction that holds up well under daily cleaning routines

Installation is straightforward for a unit of this type, but at 265kg the 1550mm cabinet will need adequate floor loading and careful positioning before commissioning. It runs on a standard electrical supply, but you should confirm the circuit capacity with your electrician prior to installation. Allow sufficient clearance at the rear and above for airflow to the condenser. The 1550mm footprint suits mid-size retail areas, café counters, or food-to-go sections in larger operations — it is a practical width that balances display capacity with space efficiency.

This unit is well suited to sandwich bars, convenience retailers, supermarket-style café counters, staff canteens, and similar sites where customers self-select chilled products throughout the day. If your site handles particularly high footfall or requires a longer continuous display run, it is worth considering whether a wider or multi-bay configuration would serve you better. For smaller operations or tighter spaces, a narrower multideck may be the more proportionate choice.

If you are unsure whether the 1550mm format is the right fit for your layout or service volume, our team is happy to talk through the options before you place an order.

The Polar U-Series 1850mm multideck is an open-fronted refrigerated display unit designed for grab-and-go retail and self-service catering. It keeps chilled products visible and accessible to customers without the need to open a door, making it a practical choice for front-of-house environments where product turnover is constant and speed of service matters.

In a busy service environment, the unit uses forced air cooling to maintain consistent temperatures across all shelf levels. The airwing design helps manage the cold air curtain at the open face, reducing warm air ingress during high footfall periods and supporting stable food safety conditions even in warmer ambient settings. This is particularly relevant in venues where kitchen and retail areas share the same space and ambient temperatures can climb during service.

From an operational standpoint, the U-Series offers several practical advantages worth noting:

• R290 refrigerant carries a very low global warming potential, which can contribute to meeting sustainability commitments
• LED lighting illuminates product clearly without generating significant heat load into the cabinet
• The insulated roller shutter locks securely, protecting stock outside of trading hours
• Stainless steel construction supports straightforward cleaning routines and holds up well in daily commercial use
• Forced air circulation helps preserve product quality and reduce waste from uneven cooling

At 305kg and nearly two metres wide, this is a substantial piece of equipment that requires careful placement planning. It will need a level, solid floor and adequate clearance around the condenser for airflow. Power requirements should be confirmed with your installer prior to fitting. The unit is not intended for installation in unventilated spaces or areas where ambient temperature regularly exceeds the manufacturer's stated operating range.

This unit is well suited to supermarkets, convenience stores, food-to-go operations, staff canteens, and hospitality venues with a chilled retail offer. The 1850mm width provides substantial product-facing capacity, making it appropriate for sites with steady customer throughput. For smaller operations with limited floor space, a narrower model may be a more proportionate choice, while higher-volume sites may want to consider whether additional units or a larger format would better suit demand.

If you're weighing up placement, capacity, or whether this footprint is the right fit for your space, our team is happy to talk it through before you commit.

The Polar G-Series Slimline Multideck is a forced-air display refrigerator designed for food retail and food service environments where chilled product needs to be both accessible and clearly visible to customers. Its slimline footprint makes it a practical choice where floor space is at a premium, and the toughened glass door helps contain the cold air between customer interactions — a useful feature in locations where the unit sits in a warmer ambient environment.

Forced air cooling distributes temperature evenly across all shelf levels, which matters in a busy service setting where the door is opened repeatedly throughout the day. The auto defrost function handles frost build-up without manual intervention, keeping the unit running consistently during trading hours. Three adjustable shelves allow operators to configure the interior around their product range, whether that is chilled drinks, pre-packaged food, or deli items.

From an operational standpoint, the key advantages are:

• Glass door reduces cold air loss between customer browsing, helping maintain stable temperatures
• Lockable castors allow repositioning without tools, useful when cleaning or reconfiguring a sales floor
• Auto defrost reduces routine maintenance demands during service
• Adjustable shelving supports flexible product merchandising
• Stainless steel and glass construction is straightforward to wipe down and keep presentable

This is a free-standing, plug-in unit running on a standard mains supply, which keeps installation straightforward. It uses R290 refrigerant, which carries a very low global warming potential and is in line with current environmental expectations. The climate class 3 rating means it is suited to ambient temperatures typically found in retail spaces and serveries, but it is worth considering placement carefully — positioning close to a heat source or in direct sunlight will make the unit work harder and may affect performance. At 122kg it is a substantial piece of equipment, so floor loading and access routes should be checked before delivery.

This model is well suited to cafés, farm shops, convenience stores, staff canteens, and hospitality venues needing a compact front-of-house chilled display. The slimline depth makes it a reasonable fit for tighter service counters or queue-line positions. For sites requiring significantly higher capacity or planning a multi-unit chilled display run, it is worth discussing whether a larger or open-fronted alternative would serve the operation better.

If you are unsure whether this unit suits your layout or service volume, our team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The True TAC-27K-HC-LD is an open-fronted multideck display refrigerator designed to keep chilled food and beverages accessible to customers throughout the trading day while maintaining consistent, safe holding temperatures across the full cabinet. It is the type of unit commonly found in convenience stores, cafés, sandwich bars, and grab-and-go foodservice operations where product visibility is as important as refrigeration reliability.

Open multideck cabinets present a particular challenge: holding stable temperatures when the product face is exposed, customers are browsing, and the ambient environment is not fully controlled. True addresses this through an air curtain system that creates a thermal barrier across the open face of the cabinet. In practice, this allows the unit to maintain consistent temperatures at all shelf levels even during busy service periods, without requiring customers to open doors — a meaningful advantage in high-footfall environments where speed of access and impulse-purchase visibility both matter.

From an operational standpoint, the principal advantages this unit offers include:

• Open-fronted access supports customer browsing and impulse purchase without friction
• Air curtain maintains chilled conditions during frequent product access and replenishment
• True's build quality is well regarded for sustained reliability in long-term commercial use
• Flexible internal shelf layout accommodates varied chilled food and beverage formats
• Designed to operate efficiently relative to its display capacity

Installation planning deserves careful thought before committing to this unit. Open multidecks are more sensitive to their immediate environment than closed-door cabinets. Positioning near cooking equipment, hot-side servery areas, or in spaces with restricted airflow will directly affect the cabinet's ability to hold temperature. The condenser requires adequate clearance to ventilate properly, and the ambient temperature of the room must fall within the unit's climatic rating. Installations in warm or poorly ventilated spaces should be assessed carefully before purchase rather than assumed to be suitable.

This cabinet is well suited to convenience retail, cafés, sandwich bars, and grab-and-go operations that need a reliable, well-built multideck at this capacity. Sites with larger display volume requirements, multiple product categories to merchandise separately, or plans for future growth may find it worth considering a larger-format or multi-bay arrangement before committing to a single unit.

If you would like to talk through whether this cabinet is the right fit for your space, ambient conditions, and service style, we are happy to work through the details with you before you place an order.

The Polar G-Series multideck display fridge is a closed-front chilled display unit designed for front-of-house use in commercial catering and retail environments. At 918mm wide and 390 litres of usable capacity across three adjustable shelves, it offers a practical balance of footprint and storage volume for operators who need to merchandise chilled food and drink without taking over a service area.

In service, the unit holds between 2°C and 10°C and carries a Climate Class 4 rating, meaning it is tested to perform in ambient conditions up to 32°C. That matters in busy environments where kitchen heat, open service areas, or summer temperatures can push ambient readings well above the standard. Recovery after repeated door access — common in any self-service setting — is steady and reliable under normal trading conditions.

The sliding glass doors are a key operational consideration. Compared to open multideck formats, they reduce cold air loss meaningfully, which translates directly to lower energy consumption and more consistent product temperatures during peak footfall. LED lighting keeps the display well lit without adding significant heat load. Practical day-to-day advantages include:

• Lockable sliding glass doors reduce cold loss and product shrinkage risk
• Front-mounted digital temperature display for quick monitoring without opening the unit
• Castors allow repositioning for cleaning or layout changes without heavy lifting
• Stainless steel construction holds up to regular wiping down and daily use
• R290 refrigerant aligns with current environmental compliance requirements

Installation is straightforward for a unit of this type — it requires a standard single-phase mains connection and adequate ventilation clearance around the condenser. At 137.5kg, delivery and positioning will require two people and consideration of floor loading, particularly if the unit is being placed on a raised or temporary floor surface. It is not intended for outdoor use or unheated storage areas.

This model suits cafés, delis, farm shops, staff canteens, and smaller food-to-go operations where a self-serve chilled display is needed without the footprint of a larger run of refrigeration. Operators running higher-volume sites or needing extended display runs may find a higher-capacity alternative better suited to their throughput requirements.

If you are unsure whether this unit fits your available space, service style, or ambient conditions, our team is happy to talk it through before you commit to an order.

This is a replacement light bulb supplied to fit the Polar U-Series multideck display fridge, model GH269. It is intended as a like-for-like spare to restore interior illumination when the original fitting fails.

The Designline 1525mm drop-in multideck is a refrigerated self-service display unit built to sit within a countertop or servery structure. It combines an open-front chilled display with double-glazed rear hinged doors, so staff can restock from behind while customers self-serve from the front. Three toughened glass shelves — adjustable in both height and angle — sit above a full-width chilled well, giving operators a layered merchandising area across the full 1525mm span. A diffused lighting gantry, digital temperature display, and lockable control panel are all integrated into the unit.

Rated for 24-hour continuous operation and holding food core temperatures between -1°C and 5°C, this unit is well suited to environments where consistent chilled temperature is a food safety requirement. The R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant carries a significantly lower global warming potential than older refrigerant types, which is worth noting for operators subject to F-gas reporting or with active sustainability commitments. The underslung condensing unit vents through air grilles supplied with the unit, and the 13A plug connection keeps the electrical installation straightforward.

Several design details help reduce daily maintenance burden:

• Modular removable deck plates simplify cleaning beneath the shelves
• Integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drainage connection
• Double-glazed rear doors help maintain cabinet temperature during restocking
• Each shelf carries a front product stop and 40mm ticket strip for pricing or labelling
• Unit ships with air inlet grilles and a lifting kit as standard

Installation requires a suitable countertop opening and a clear void beneath for the underslung condenser. At 207kg, the unit is substantial — the counter structure must be built to carry that load, and the void must remain unobstructed. A sealed or poorly ventilated counter will cause performance issues. The counter cutout dimensions and structural capacity should both be confirmed before ordering.

This unit suits cafés, deli counters, staff canteens, hospitality buffet serveries, and convenience retail formats where chilled self-service display is central to the service offer. At 1525mm it covers a meaningful product range without requiring a full run of cabinets. For lower-volume or space-limited settings a narrower drop-in may be more appropriate; for high-footfall retail environments where throughput or product range demands more capacity, a larger-format unit may be worth considering.

If you are planning a counter build or need to confirm whether this unit fits your space, service volumes, and existing infrastructure, the team is happy to work through the details with you.

The Designline Drop-In Multideck is a self-service refrigerated display unit designed to be recessed into a servery or countertop structure. At 1175mm wide, it combines three adjustable chilled glass shelves with a full-size cold well beneath, giving operators a practical, customer-facing way to present refrigerated food and drink throughout the day. The curved toughened glass construction keeps product visible from a natural browsing angle, while the stainless steel and aluminium build is well suited to the cleaning demands of a commercial environment.

The unit maintains food core temperatures between -1°C and 5°C continuously, making it a reliable choice for operations that run across multiple dayparts without powering down. The underslung condensing unit keeps mechanics out of the display space, and because heat rejection is managed through rear venting, most standard counter installations will not require additional canopy work above the unit. That said, the airflow path does need to be correctly accommodated — the inlet grilles and rear vent must be unobstructed, and this is worth confirming with your counter manufacturer or fit-out contractor before the unit is ordered.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, several design details are worth noting:

• Each shelf edge carries a 40mm ticket strip, making point-of-sale labelling straightforward
• An integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a floor drain connection
• Removable deck plates simplify routine cleaning and hygiene checks
• The lockable digital temperature display on the gantry prevents accidental adjustment in customer-facing settings
• R290 refrigerant delivers a lower environmental impact and tends to support efficient running costs over time

The unit runs from a standard 13A single-phase supply via the supplied 2m lead and plug top, which keeps commissioning straightforward. At 153kg, access and positioning during installation will need planning, and the structural integrity of the counter into which it drops must be adequate to support the weight.

This unit is well suited to cafés, sandwich bars, hotel buffet counters, staff restaurants, and similar operations where customers select chilled food themselves. It is sized for moderate service volumes rather than high-throughput retail. For larger or busier sites requiring greater display capacity, a wider or higher-output model may be the more appropriate choice.

If you would like to talk through whether this unit will work within your counter setup or suits your service pattern, the team is happy to help before you place an order.

The Kubus Slimline Multideck is a drop-in self-service chilled display unit designed to be built into a counter or servery structure, providing a vertical refrigerated display above the drop-in base. At 900mm wide, it offers a practical footprint for operators who need genuine chilled display capacity without claiming excessive counter run. Three adjustable shelves allow product to be arranged across multiple levels, while the lower drop-in area extends usable capacity further. The unit is designed to run continuously around the clock, which makes it suited to environments where the display cannot be powered down between services.

In steady-flow settings — patisserie counters, café serveries, hotel buffet points — the unit performs reliably, maintaining consistent temperatures across its patisserie range provided the cabinet load is managed sensibly and product is replenished regularly. Diffused overhead lighting in the gantry improves product presentation without adding meaningful heat load to the cabinet. Individual POS display strips on each shelf support straightforward merchandising without any modification to the unit itself. The integrated water evaporator removes the need for a site drain connection, which can simplify installation considerably where drain access is restricted.

Key operational advantages include:

• Continuous 24-hour operation with digital temperature monitoring at eye level
• Adjustable and removable shelves to suit different product heights and cleaning routines
• No drainage requirement due to the built-in water evaporator
• Individual shelf POS strips for product labelling without unit modification
• Diffused gantry lighting that enhances display without raising cabinet temperature

As a drop-in unit, this product requires a purpose-built counter void or cabinet structure — it is not freestanding. At 190kg, the supporting counter must be engineered to carry that load, and adequate access for installation and future servicing should be planned into the fit-out from the outset. At 71dB operational noise, placement relative to customer-facing areas is worth considering in quieter retail or café environments. The R290 refrigerant is a low-GWP hydrocarbon; any gas-side commissioning or service work must be carried out by a suitably qualified refrigeration engineer. This unit is special-to-order and non-returnable, so confirming the correct specification before purchase is particularly important.

The unit is well suited to patisserie counters, café and deli serveries, and hotel food service points where a compact, continuously operated chilled display is needed within an existing counter build. For higher-volume or larger-footprint operations, a unit with greater capacity may be more appropriate. For smaller counters or tighter budgets, a narrower or lower-capacity alternative may serve better.

Because this unit is special-to-order and needs careful integration with your counter structure, it is worth having a conversation with us before committing to an order — we are happy to work through the fit with you.

The Kubus KMDF4HT is a drop-in refrigerated multideck designed to sit flush within a servery counter or purpose-built cabinetry. At 1525mm wide, it combines three adjustable chilled glass shelves at eye level with a chilled GN well beneath, giving operators both a display and a lower-level merchandising area within a single counter footprint. It is intended for customer-facing, self-service environments where chilled food or drink is presented, held at temperature, and accessed without staff involvement.

The unit runs on an R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant system, which operates efficiently under sustained use and carries a lower global warming potential than older refrigerant types — a relevant consideration for operators working toward environmental compliance or managing energy overheads. Condensate is handled internally via an integral evaporator, so no site drainage connection is required. The unit connects on a standard 13A supply, which removes much of the electrical complexity at installation.

For day-to-day operation, the unit is built to run continuously through service periods. Features that support this include:

• Height- and angle-adjustable chilled shelves with product stops and ticket strips on each front edge
• Digital temperature display and lockable controls on the customer-facing gantry
• Diffused gantry lighting that illuminates product clearly without glare
• Removable deck plates that simplify routine cleaning without tools
• Toughened glass sneeze screen and side panels for hygiene compliance

Installation requires careful planning. The underslung condensing unit needs sufficient void depth and height within the counter cabinetry, and the front inlet grills and rear vent must have adequate airflow — restricted ventilation will affect performance and longevity. At 200kg, the unit is substantial; the receiving counter structure must be engineered to carry that load, and a lifting kit is included to assist with positioning. The operational noise level of around 70dB is worth noting for calm retail or hospitality environments, though it sits below most extraction systems.

This multideck is well suited to cafés, workplace canteens, hospital retail outlets, farm shops, and similar self-service settings where customers select chilled products directly. It is sized for a moderately busy service point rather than high-volume supermarket-style throughput. For sites with significantly higher footfall or a need for a wider display run, a larger-format unit may be a more appropriate choice.

If you are planning a new servery installation or working around an existing counter void, it is worth talking through the specifics before you order — there are a few installation variables that are worth confirming early.

The Designline 1175mm drop-in multideck is a refrigerated self-service display unit designed to be recessed into a countertop or serve-over structure. It combines a chilled well at base level with three adjustable toughened glass shelves, all enclosed by double-glazed hinged rear doors. The curved-profile gantry provides diffused illumination to present chilled products clearly, and a digital temperature readout with a lockable control panel sits at operator level for straightforward monitoring during service.

In a working kitchen environment, the unit holds food core temperatures consistently across a full trading day. The underslung condensing unit keeps the refrigeration mechanism compact beneath the counter, and the R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant delivers efficient, low-impact cooling. Recovery after restocking is steady, and the double-glazed rear doors help maintain display temperatures during busy self-service periods without placing unnecessary load on the refrigeration circuit.

From a day-to-day operational perspective, the unit offers several practical advantages:

• Adjustable shelf height and angle to suit product type and maximise visibility within the footprint
• Product stops and ticket strips on each shelf front for clean, consistent merchandising
• Removable deck plates that simplify both daily cleaning and deeper periodic maintenance
• Integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drainage connection
• Lockable temperature controls to limit unintended adjustments during service

The unit runs on a standard 13A single-phase supply and is supplied with air inlet grilles, a lifting kit, and a 2m lead and plug. Because the condensing unit is underslung, adequate clearance beneath the counter and correct fitting of the supplied air grilles are both essential — restricted airflow will affect performance and long-term reliability. At 165kg, the counter structure needs to be solid and level before installation, and appropriate lifting equipment should be arranged in advance.

This multideck is well suited to cafés, delis, staff restaurants, food-to-go operations, and retail environments where customers serve themselves from a chilled counter display. The 1175mm width makes it a practical choice for mid-volume sites. For higher-footfall operations or longer counter runs, a wider or higher-capacity unit may be worth considering.

If you have questions about whether this unit suits your counter build or your expected service volume, the team is glad to talk it through before you order.

The Designline Slimline Multideck is a drop-in self-service chiller designed to sit within a prepared countertop or bespoke surround, presenting chilled goods directly to customers at point of sale. At 900mm wide, it offers a practical footprint for grab-and-go counters, deli-style displays, and self-service food stations where customers select items without staff intervention. The curved toughened glass front provides clear sightlines across the product range while keeping the display contained and presentable.

In service, the unit holds a stable temperature across its chilled range, making it suitable for prepared salads, yoghurts, bottled drinks, patisserie, and similar ambient-sensitive products. The R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant system is a sensible choice from both an environmental and running-cost standpoint — R290 tends to deliver lower energy consumption than older synthetic alternatives. A built-in condensate evaporator handles drainage automatically, which removes one routine task from the team during a busy service period.

Day-to-day, the unit offers several practical operational advantages:

• Digital temperature control with lockable settings prevents accidental adjustments during service
• Removable deck plates simplify end-of-day cleaning and restocking
• Three adjustable shelves allow the display layout to be adapted as stock lines change
• Fixed back panel keeps the display self-contained and customer-facing
• Lockable castors allow repositioning for maintenance or deep cleaning without dismantling the counter

As a drop-in unit, it requires a prepared countertop opening cut to the correct dimensions before installation — it is not a freestanding piece of equipment. It should be positioned away from direct heat sources, cooking equipment, and strong draughts, all of which can disrupt temperature stability. At 190kg, handling during installation will need to be planned carefully, and access to a suitable power supply is required.

This unit is well suited to cafés, food-to-go operations, staff restaurants, and hospitality venues where customers self-select chilled items. The 900mm width works well for moderate product ranges, though operators with a significantly larger or more varied chilled display may find a wider or higher-capacity unit better suited to their throughput requirements.

If you are unsure whether this model fits your counter specification, service volume, or kitchen layout, the team is happy to work through the details with you before you proceed.

The Kubus KCMDL3HT is a drop-in refrigerated multideck display unit designed to sit flush within a prepared countertop opening. It holds three full 1/1 GN positions in a chilled well, presented at eye level with illuminated product display and front glass access. The unit uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which carries a lower environmental impact than many conventional refrigerants and tends to contribute to reduced running costs over time. The underslung condensing unit keeps the counter surface clear, with ventilation managed through the air grilles supplied with the unit.

In a busy service environment, the KCMDL3HT is built to maintain consistent food core temperatures across a full service period. The 24-hour operating capability means it can run across extended trading hours without intervention, and the digital temperature display at eye level gives operators an at-a-glance check without disturbing the display. The temperature-lockable control panel prevents accidental adjustment during service, which is a practical detail worth noting in high-footfall environments where counter access is shared.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, several features help keep service running smoothly:

• Front glass tilts forward on a locking hinge for full cleaning access without dismantling
• Modular removable deck plates simplify end-of-day cleaning of the chilled well
• Integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drainage connection
• Two toughened glass mid-shelves provide additional ambient display space within the unit
• Optional chopping boards fitting over the rear shelf support light food preparation at the same counter

Installation requires a prepared countertop opening to the correct dimensions, with the supplied air grilles fitted correctly to maintain adequate airflow around the refrigeration unit. At 157kg, positioning and access routes should be planned well before installation day. The unit arrives with a 2m lead and plug top, so no hardwiring is required, though countertop preparation and grille installation should be carried out carefully — poor ventilation clearance is the most common cause of performance issues with drop-in units of this type. GN containers are not included and will need to be sourced separately.

This unit is well suited to deli counters, café serveries, hotel buffet runs, and staff restaurants where chilled food is presented for assisted or supervised self-service. For sites with high throughput or longer counter runs, a higher-capacity option may be worth considering. Equally, if counter space is limited, a narrower configuration may be more appropriate for the layout.

If you're planning a counter build or refurbishment and want to confirm this unit suits your layout and service volumes, the team is glad to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Kubus 1175mm drop-in multideck is a refrigerated self-service display unit designed to be built into a service counter or countertop installation. It holds chilled food and drink at a consistent temperature within the safe food service range, with three toughened glass shelves and a chilled well accessible from the customer side. Double-glazed hinged rear doors allow staff to restock without disrupting service, while a flat toughened glass sneeze screen to the front and glazed side panels keep the display hygienic and visible from multiple angles.

In practice, this type of unit is commonly found at deli counters, food-to-go operations, staff restaurants, and cafés where customers self-select chilled products. The shelves are adjustable in height and angle, which gives operators flexibility to adapt the layout to different product formats as the range or season changes. Each shelf includes a product stop and a ticket strip along the front edge — straightforward for labelling and pricing without interfering with the product display. A digital temperature readout is positioned at gantry level, and the control panel is lockable on the operator side to prevent accidental adjustment during service.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, several design choices reduce the burden on kitchen and front-of-house teams:

• Modular removable deck plates simplify end-of-day cleaning and breakdown
• An integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drain connection
• R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant offers a lower environmental impact and reduced running costs over time
• The underslung condensing unit keeps the counter profile clean and the footprint compact
• Diffused shelf and gantry lighting presents chilled product clearly without harsh hotspots

Installation requires careful planning before the counter is built. The unit is designed exclusively for drop-in countertop fitting, and correct positioning of the supplied air inlet grilles along with adequate rear ventilation is essential — the underslung condensing unit depends on sufficient airflow to operate reliably. The unit is supplied with a two-metre lead and plug top, which removes the need for a dedicated electrical circuit in most installations, though the counter structure must be built to accommodate the unit's footprint and, at 170kg, appropriate handling equipment will be needed on installation day. No site drainage connection is required thanks to the integral condensate evaporator.

This unit is well suited to cafés, food-to-go counters, staff restaurants, delis, and similar settings operating at a steady chilled throughput. It is best suited to moderate-volume sites — for higher-volume or larger-format operations, a wider or multi-section configuration is worth considering. Where counter space is more limited, a narrower unit from the same range may be the more practical choice.

If you are planning a counter build-out or want to confirm this unit is the right fit for your service model and countertop specification, the team is happy to talk it through before you go ahead.

The Kubus KMDR4HT is a 1525mm wide drop-in self-service multideck designed to be set into a freestanding countertop. It provides open-front chilled display across three adjustable glass shelves, a chilled GN well beneath the display area, and double-glazed hinged rear doors for staff restocking. Refrigeration is handled by a self-contained R290 system with the condensing unit mounted underslung, ventilated through the air inlet grilles and rear vent supplied with the unit. The integral condensate evaporator removes any need for site drainage.

The KMDR4HT is rated for continuous 24-hour operation and holds food core temperatures safely within the chilled range throughout service. The double-glazed rear doors help contain cold during quieter trading periods, which also reduces running load over the course of a day. Diffused gantry lighting presents products clearly and consistently, and the eye-level digital temperature display allows staff to carry out at-a-glance checks without interrupting service. The lockable temperature control panel prevents accidental or unauthorised adjustments during busy periods.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the unit has been designed with practical running in mind:

• Modular removable deck plates simplify thorough cleaning between services
• Height- and angle-adjustable shelves allow layouts to be adapted to your product mix
• Each shelf edge includes a product stop and 40mm ticket strip for labelling and pricing
• The underslung self-contained refrigeration removes the need for remote condenser provision
• A 2m lead and plug allows straightforward electrical connection on site

Installation requires a suitable counter build with adequate clearance beneath the unit for the underslung condensing unit, and correct fitting of the supplied grilles and rear vent. At 212kg, the unit will need appropriate access and handling equipment on delivery. The ventilation path for the condensing unit must remain unobstructed within the finished counter — this is an important point to confirm with your counter manufacturer or installer before committing to a specification, as restricted airflow will affect refrigeration performance.

This unit is well suited to supermarkets, convenience stores, food-to-go operations, delicatessen counters, and retail food environments where customers serve themselves and staff restock from behind. The 1525mm width represents a practical mid-size option for sites with moderate to high display requirements. For lower-footfall sites or smaller counter builds, a narrower drop-in unit may be the more proportionate choice; for high-volume operations with greater continuous display demands, a wider configuration or multi-section arrangement is worth considering.

If you are working through a counter specification or want to confirm this unit is the right fit for your planned installation, our team are glad to talk it through with you before you place an order.

The Designline Slimline Multideck is a refrigerated display unit built to sit within a cut-out in a servery counter or to operate as a freestanding grab-and-go merchandiser. It uses a curved elliptical profile in polished stainless steel and aluminium with toughened glass shelving and an open customer-facing front. A hinged double-glazed rear door allows operators to restock without disturbing customer access from the front of the counter.

In continuous service the unit holds product reliably within its chilled band, which matters for sites running extended service periods where food safety compliance is non-negotiable. The three toughened glass shelves are adjustable in both height and angle, giving practical flexibility when displaying products of varying sizes. A cold deck at the base adds usable display space beyond the upper shelves — useful during busy periods when presentation and replenishment efficiency both matter. Shelf-edge lighting and integral ticket strips support clear product identification without requiring additional display hardware.

• Three adjustable toughened glass shelves with shelf-edge lighting and ticket strips
• Cold deck below the shelves adds further chilled merchandising capacity
• Hinged double-glazed rear door for restocking without interrupting customer flow
• R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant lowers environmental impact and running costs versus older refrigerants
• Integral condensate evaporator and removable deck plates simplify cleaning and remove the need for a drainage connection

The unit runs from a standard 13A single-phase supply via the included 2m lead and plug. When fitted as a drop-in, the fascia panel must include ventilation apertures to allow adequate airflow to the underslung condensing unit — this is a firm installation requirement and needs to be built into the counter design before ordering, not retrofitted. The unit ships on locking castors with an adjustable levelling foot to assist alignment during counter installation. At 190kg it requires proper handling equipment on delivery. In quieter front-of-house environments the noise output at 71dB is worth factoring into placement decisions.

This unit is well suited to cafés, hotel buffet areas, hospital retail outlets, workplace restaurants and deli-style counters where refrigerated product needs to be visible, accessible and well presented throughout the day. It is a practical fit for medium-volume operations. Sites with significantly higher throughput or larger continuous display requirements may find a wider or greater-capacity unit a better match for their needs.

If you are planning a counter build-out or want to confirm this unit fits your layout and ventilation arrangement before committing, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

The Zoin Cervinho is a chilled multideck display cabinet designed for retail, café, and food-to-go environments where refrigerated products need to be clearly visible and readily accessible. This 1000mm wide version is finished in painted steel with a black exterior and fitted with hinged glass doors, making it well suited to front-of-house and served counter positions where presentation matters as much as function.

In a busy service environment the hinged doors play a meaningful role. Unlike open-fronted multidecks, the doors help maintain a consistent holding temperature across service periods — particularly useful during quieter periods when the cabinet is not being accessed frequently. The unit operates within a 4°C to 6°C range, appropriate for pre-packaged chilled food, soft drinks, dairy, and similar products. Automatic defrost runs without interrupting service, which reduces the need for manual intervention during trading hours.

From an operational standpoint, the energy case for the hinged door configuration is clear. The closed-door design significantly reduces the refrigeration load compared with an open-fronted equivalent, which has a direct effect on running costs over time. Other practical advantages include:

• Adjustable shelving to suit different product heights and ranging priorities
• Black painted steel finish that holds its appearance in customer-facing positions
• R290 refrigerant with a low global warming potential, relevant for operators with sustainability reporting requirements
• Automatic defrost that runs without manual shutdown
• Hinged doors that retain cold air during low-traffic periods

At 1000mm wide and 130kg, this unit requires a solid, level floor surface and sufficient clearance at the rear and sides for airflow and servicing access. It is intended for indoor, temperature-controlled environments. Because it operates on R290, installation and any future gas-side servicing should be carried out by a qualified refrigeration engineer familiar with hydrocarbon refrigerants.

The 1000mm Cervinho is a practical choice for independents, convenience retailers, cafés, delis, and smaller food-to-go operations where chilled display space is needed without the footprint of a larger run. For higher-volume sites or where a longer display run is needed, wider alternatives within the Cervinho range are worth considering. If refrigerated capacity requirements are more demanding, a remote or plug-in upright cabinet may be more appropriate.

If you are unsure whether this unit suits your available space, product range, or service volume, our team is happy to talk through the options before you commit to a purchase.

The Designline Slimline Multideck is a refrigerated self-service display unit designed to sit within a prepared servery counter, presenting chilled food directly to customers as they move along a queue or browse a counter run. The 600mm width keeps the counter footprint compact without sacrificing the tiered, open-fronted display that makes self-service viable in busy environments. Cafés, coffee shops, staff restaurants, and food-to-go operations are among the most common settings for this type of unit.

In service, the curved toughened glass side panels and adjustable shelving allow customers to see the full product range at a glance. Shelf angle and height can be set to suit different product formats — filled rolls, boxed patisserie, chilled drinks — which helps operators maintain a tidy, well-merchandised display throughout the day without constant rearrangement. Diffused shelf lighting and integrated point-of-sale strip holders support presentation quality without the need for additional hardware.

Day-to-day operation is straightforward:

• Digital temperature control allows precise monitoring without specialist knowledge
• Removable deck plates simplify end-of-day cleaning and reduce downtime
• Built-in water evaporator removes the need for site drainage, giving more flexibility in positioning
• Lockable castors and a levelling foot allow repositioning or cleaning behind the unit without additional assistance
• R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant meets current environmental standards

Because this is a drop-in unit, it requires a prepared counter aperture or a suitable support structure — it is not designed to sit freestanding on an open worktop. The fixed-back configuration works best positioned against a wall or integrated into a straight counter run. At 145kg, this is not a unit moved frequently once installed, so finalising counter dimensions and layout before ordering is advisable. A standard power supply and adequate ambient ventilation around the unit are necessary for consistent temperature performance; site drainage is not required.

This unit is well suited to low-to-medium volume self-service environments where clean product presentation within a compact counter matters most. It is ordered as a special-to-order item and is non-returnable, so confirming the counter aperture, available space, and intended product range before committing is important. Sites with higher throughput or greater display capacity requirements may find a larger or higher-volume unit within the range more appropriate.

If you would like to talk through the counter dimensions, aperture requirements, or whether this unit fits your service style before placing an order, the team is happy to help.

The Kubus 1175mm drop-in multideck is a refrigerated self-service display unit designed to be set into a countertop build. It provides a chilled open-front display for pre-packaged food and drink, with customers serving themselves directly. Three adjustable toughened glass shelves sit above a chilled counter-level well, enclosed by a flat toughened glass sneeze screen and side glass panels. A gantry above the unit carries diffused shelf lighting and a digital temperature display, and the control panel locks to prevent tampering in customer-accessible settings.

The unit is built around an underslung condensing unit ventilated through air inlet grilles and a rear vent supplied with the unit. This means the refrigeration system manages its own thermal load independently, without relying on ambient room airflow. R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant supports efficient thermal performance across sustained all-day operation, and the unit holds a food-safe temperature range consistently — well suited to sites trading long hours. An integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drain connection, which simplifies the countertop installation considerably.

From an operational standpoint, several design details make a practical difference in day-to-day service:

• Shelf height and angle are both adjustable to suit varying product formats
• Ticket strips on each shelf edge allow straightforward pricing or promotional labelling
• Removable deck plates make routine cleaning more accessible during quiet periods
• Lockable controls help maintain consistent temperature settings in public-facing locations
• 24-hour operation capability supports sites with extended trading or overnight holding requirements

Installation requires a countertop opening sized to the drop-in frame, with the ventilation grilles and rear vent correctly positioned. At 158kg the unit is substantial, so the supporting countertop structure needs to be specified accordingly. Connection is via a standard 2m lead and plug, removing the need for hardwired electrical installation, though the countertop build and ventilation arrangement should be planned before the unit arrives. This is not a freestanding unit and is not suitable for open floor placement.

The 1175mm width and three-shelf configuration suit delis, cafés, farm shops, workplace canteens, and food retail environments where customer self-service of chilled products is a core part of the offer. It is well matched to moderate throughput sites. For higher-volume or larger countertop installations, a wider or greater-capacity model may be worth considering alongside this one.

If you are planning a countertop build around this unit or have questions about the ventilation arrangement and whether it suits your site, we are happy to work through the details with you before you place an order.

The Kubus KPC9ASHT is a drop-in slimline multideck refrigeration unit designed to sit within a prepared counter or service structure. It presents chilled product across three shelves in a 900mm-wide footprint and operates on an assisted-service basis — customers or staff select from the front, while restocking and access are managed through a rear door. The temperature range of -1°C to 5°C makes it appropriate for sandwiches, patisserie, cold deli items, and similar short-shelf-life chilled products.

In continuous-service environments, the rear-door access arrangement is a practical advantage: staff can replenish product during service without disrupting the customer-facing display or opening the front of the cabinet. Diffused overhead lighting presents product cleanly without the harshness that can detract from visual merchandising. Point-of-sale label strips on each shelf support quick pricing and identification, which is useful in operations where the range turns over regularly.

A few operational features are worth noting:

• Removable deck plates in the cold well simplify end-of-day cleaning
• An integral condensate evaporator removes the need for a site drainage connection
• Digital temperature display gives staff a clear, at-a-glance read on cabinet performance
• R290 refrigerant carries a significantly lower global warming potential than older alternatives
• The slimline depth suits counters where space is constrained without sacrificing shelf capacity

This unit must be specified at the counter design stage — it requires a prepared aperture sized to its footprint and cannot practically be retrofitted into an existing structure. At 190kg, positioning will require appropriate handling equipment and a level, load-bearing surface. There is no drainage requirement, but electrical supply and ventilation clearances should be confirmed with your installer prior to ordering. This is a special-to-order product and is non-returnable, so confirming the full specification before committing is important.

The KPC9ASHT is well suited to cafés, hotel breakfast counters, patisseries, delicatessens, and food-to-go operations where a well-presented chilled display is central to the service offer. The 900mm width suits medium-footprint counters; sites needing greater linear display capacity should consider wider configurations within the same range.

Given the bespoke nature of the order, it is worth talking through the counter build and service requirements with us before finalising your specification.

The Kubus Drop-In Slimline Multideck is a self-service chilled display unit designed to sit within or on top of an existing counter run. At 600mm wide, it provides three shelves of usable display space without demanding significant counter length — a practical solution where floor or counter space is tight but product visibility still needs to be maintained throughout the service period.

In operation, the unit holds temperature consistently rather than cycling through wide swings, which matters for both product presentation and food safety compliance. The R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is a lower-impact alternative to older refrigerant types and supports efficient day-to-day running. Temperature can be monitored via the eye-level digital display without interrupting front-of-house service. At 63.8dB operational noise, the unit is reasonably unobtrusive in a café or deli setting, though placement relative to customer seating areas is worth considering at the layout stage.

Features that support daily operation include:

• Diffused illumination that presents products clearly without harsh shadows
• Sneeze screens and serve-over glass canopy protecting stock hygiene during self-service
• Reinforced side panels suited to counter-integrated installations
• Point-of-sale display strips for straightforward in-unit merchandising
• Lockable castors to allow repositioning during cleaning or layout changes

Because this is a drop-in unit, the counter or surround needs to be capable of supporting 145kg, and the opening dimensions must be confirmed before ordering. This is a special-to-order product and is non-returnable, so accurate pre-purchase measurement is essential. GN pans are not included and are sold separately.

This unit suits cafés, patisseries, delis, and hotel grab-and-go counters where moderate self-service volume and a compact footprint are the priority. Operators needing broader display capacity or higher throughput may find a wider or deeper model within the range more appropriate for their setup.

If you have questions about whether this unit will work with your counter build or service requirements, we are happy to talk it through before you place an order.
