Robot Coupe Food Blenders

The Robot Coupe Blixer 3D is a benchtop combination blender and mixer that processes wet and dry ingredients in a single stainless steel bowl. Rather than running separate machines for blending and mixing tasks, the Blixer handles both in one compact unit — producing smooth purées, mousses, sauces, butter mixtures, and finely ground dry preparations depending on what the recipe demands. It is a well-established machine in healthcare and hospital catering where texture-modified diets are a daily requirement, and equally practical in café kitchens and small catering operations built around portion-by-portion preparation.

In regular service, the single-speed motor with pulse function gives operators direct, hands-on control over texture without fixed programmes or the risk of overprocessing. That level of control is particularly relevant when working to specific dietary texture standards — IDDSI compliance, for example — where consistency between portions matters. The magnetic safety interlock prevents the unit from running unless the bowl is correctly seated, and the motor brake stops the blade promptly when the lid is lifted, both practical safeguards in a fast-moving kitchen environment.

Operational advantages include:

• Blending and mixing combined in one unit, reducing benchtop clutter and capital outlay
• Watertight polycarbonate lid keeps contents contained with no spillage during processing
• Centre lid cover allows ingredients to be added mid-process without stopping the machine
• Pulse function gives precise texture control without relying on preset programmes
• Straightforward to operate — no specialist training required for kitchen staff

The Blixer 3D runs from a standard single-phase supply and requires no dedicated infrastructure, so it can be positioned on most kitchen counters without significant planning. It is worth being clear about scale: this model is suited to kitchens working in portions rather than large continuous batches. Sites with significantly higher throughput or larger batch requirements would be better served by a higher-capacity model in the Robot Coupe range.

This is a reliable, proven choice for care homes, hospital catering, café kitchens, and small to medium catering operations where counter space and equipment budgets are both a consideration. Its combination of dual function, compact footprint, and ease of use makes it a sensible fit where texture-modified food preparation is a regular part of the working day.

If you would like to talk through whether this model suits your service type or volumes, we are happy to help you weigh it up before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 4VVB is a combined blender and mixer designed for processing single-portion and semi-liquid preparations in commercial kitchens. Unlike a standard blender, the Blixer design allows operators to handle both wet and dry ingredients in a single bowl, producing smooth, consistent results without the need to transfer between pieces of equipment. A variable-speed motor with pulse function gives precise control over texture at each stage of processing.

The 4VVB is most commonly found in healthcare catering — hospital kitchens, care homes, and specialist dietary facilities — where texture-modified meals must be prepared to consistent standards at every service. The variable speed and pulse function allow kitchen staff to hit defined texture targets reliably, which is particularly important when preparing food for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. Robot Coupe developed the Blixer range in close collaboration with healthcare and catering specialists, and the design reflects that accumulated practical knowledge.

From an operational standpoint, the 4VVB offers several practical advantages worth noting:

• Variable speed and pulse control enable precise texture management across different food types
• Centre lid opening allows ingredients to be added during operation without stopping the machine
• Magnetic safety system and motor brake reduce the risk of accidental engagement
• Stainless steel bowl and watertight lid minimise spillage risk during use
• Tool-free disassembly of the bowl and knife assembly supports efficient cleaning between batches

The unit is a countertop machine requiring a standard single-phase supply. It generates meaningful torque at higher speeds, so stable positioning on a firm, level surface matters. The bowl and lid footprint should be factored in when assessing worktop space, particularly in tighter prep areas. Cleaning is straightforward, and the stainless steel components disassemble without tools.

The Blixer 4VVB is well suited to healthcare catering operations, care homes, and hospital kitchens where texture-modified food preparation forms a regular part of service. It is also used in smaller hospitality kitchens for sauces, mousses, and similar preparations. For sites requiring larger batch volumes or greater bowl capacity, heavier-duty options within the Robot Coupe range are worth considering.

If you are working out which specification best fits your kitchen's daily output, the team is happy to talk it through before you place an order.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 45A is a floor-standing blender mixer designed for commercial and healthcare kitchens that process food in large, regular batches. Unlike a conventional blender or food processor operating independently, the Blixer combines cutting and mixing in a single continuous process — working through wet and dry ingredients, cooked or raw, to produce smooth, consistent results without transferring between pieces of equipment. It sits at the larger end of the Blixer range and reflects Robot Coupe's long-standing involvement in developing equipment specifically for texture-modified and dysphagia catering.

In high-throughput kitchen environments, the machine handles sustained workloads reliably across a full service. The two-speed motor gives operators direct control over texture, which is a practical advantage when preparing coarse and fine consistencies in the same session. The motor brake brings the blade assembly to a controlled stop between cycles — a useful detail when the machine is being turned around repeatedly during service. Stainless steel construction throughout the food contact areas supports durability and hygiene compliance under consistent heavy use.

From an operational standpoint, the Blixer 45A offers several clear advantages:

• Processes wet and dry ingredients without switching between separate pieces of equipment
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper reduces manual intervention between cycles
• Magnetic safety system prevents operation unless bowl and lid are correctly assembled
• Floor-standing format keeps worktop space free in larger kitchen environments
• Stainless steel food contact surfaces support thorough cleaning and hygiene compliance

Installation requires a three-phase electrical supply — this is a firm prerequisite and rules out sites with single-phase connections only. The machine is floor-standing and needs sufficient clear space for operation and safe bowl removal. Given the bowl size, access height and floor stability are both worth factoring into placement planning. This is not a compact unit and is intended for kitchens with the infrastructure and physical space to support it properly.

The Blixer 45A is well suited to large-scale catering operations, central production kitchens, and healthcare catering environments — particularly where IDDSI-compliant or texture-modified preparations are produced regularly and at volume. For smaller operations, or sites limited to single-phase power, a lower-capacity model from the Blixer range is likely to be more practical. For very high-volume central production sites processing significantly larger batches, it is worth considering whether a higher-capacity option would be a better fit.

If you are working out whether the Blixer 45A is the right choice for your site — particularly around power supply, batch size, or kitchen layout — our team is happy to talk it through with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe BL 3 is a countertop commercial blender designed for professional kitchen use. It processes liquid and semi-liquid preparations — soups, veloutés, sauces, coulis, purées, and batters — to a smooth, consistent finish. The BL 3 is built around Robot Coupe's X-Flow technology, which draws ingredients through the blade assembly in a way that promotes efficient blending even when the bowl is only partially filled. This makes it a practical tool during prep, where batch sizes are rarely uniform.

In service, the BL 3 performs reliably across both hot and cold preparations without requiring any adjustment between the two. The X-Flow design helps avoid the uneven results some blenders produce with small quantities, which reduces the need to rework batches and keeps prep moving at pace. It's a robust unit built to the standard expected of Robot Coupe equipment in working kitchens.

From an operational standpoint, the BL 3 offers several practical advantages:

• Consistent blending across variable batch sizes, reducing waste and rework
• Handles both hot soups and cold preparations without adjustment
• Compact countertop footprint suits most prep station layouts
• Straightforward bowl and blade assembly supports quick cleaning between uses
• Robust construction consistent with Robot Coupe's professional kitchen reputation

Installation is straightforward. The BL 3 is a countertop unit requiring only a suitable mains electrical connection — no fixed plumbing or ventilation is needed. Position it on a stable surface with enough space around the unit for safe operation and cleaning access. It's worth checking that your counter layout allows comfortable use during a busy service without the unit being in the way of other prep activity.

The BL 3 is well suited to small and medium kitchens, café operations, hotel kitchens, and restaurants that blend regularly but don't need the throughput of a larger unit. For sites with high blending volumes or demanding continuous-use requirements, a heavier-duty model from the Robot Coupe range may be a more appropriate choice.

If you'd like to talk through whether the BL 3 fits your kitchen's workload, we're happy to help you work it out before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 20E V.V. is a combined blender and mixer built for high-volume food preparation in commercial production kitchens, hospital catering, and care environments. Unlike a conventional blender or food processor, the Blixer format handles both wet and dry ingredients in a single bowl, producing smooth, consistent results without the need to transfer between pieces of equipment. The variable speed motor gives operators stepless control from a gentle mix through to full-power blending, allowing precise management of texture and consistency across a wide range of ingredients and recipes.

In busy production environments, the Blixer 20E is particularly valued for batch work where repeatability matters. It has a strong track record in cook-chill and cook-freeze operations, and in healthcare catering where texture-modified meals must meet dysphagia standards reliably and consistently. The motor brake brings the blade to a stop quickly when the lid is removed — a practical safety feature in fast-moving kitchen conditions that operators tend to appreciate once they have worked with it.

From an operational standpoint, the Blixer 20E offers several practical advantages:

• Variable speed control enables precise texture management across different ingredients and dietary requirements
• Blending and mixing in a single bowl reduces equipment changeover time and prep space requirements
• The polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper minimises manual intervention and promotes even processing
• The magnetic safety interlock prevents operation unless the bowl and lid are correctly assembled
• Stainless steel bowl construction is built for repeated daily use and straightforward cleaning

The Blixer 20E is a free-standing unit requiring a stable worktop position and a suitable electrical supply. The unit is substantial in weight, so workflow positioning is worth thinking through carefully before installation — particularly if it may need to be repositioned between prep areas. The blade assembly requires careful handling during disassembly and cleaning. Confirming the electrical supply available in your kitchen before ordering is advisable given the power demands of a machine at this capacity.

This model is well suited to mid-to-large production kitchens, central production units, hospital and care home kitchens, and any operation preparing blended or texture-modified meals at volume. It is also used in food development and pharmaceutical production settings where accurate, repeatable processing is required. Smaller operations or lower batch volumes may be better served by a smaller model within the Robot Coupe Blixer range, while very high-volume or continuous production environments may warrant a larger-capacity option.

If you are working out whether the 20E is the right fit for your operation, or have questions about electrical requirements or how it might integrate with your existing prep workflow, the team is happy to talk through the detail with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 23A is a floor-standing blender mixer that occupies a practical middle ground between conventional blending and mixing. Rather than performing one action or the other, it combines the cutting action of a blender with the thorough incorporation of a mixer, processing wet and semi-liquid preparations in a single bowl. It is particularly well established in healthcare catering and dysphagia food production, where consistent, repeatable texture results are operationally critical, but it is equally well suited to production kitchens and central kitchens preparing sauces, purées, mousses, and emulsions at volume.

In a sustained production environment, the Blixer 23A is built for repeated full-bowl processing across a full shift rather than occasional light use. Two operating speeds give operators control over texture outcomes — lower speed for initial breakdown or coarser preparations, higher speed for smooth, consistent finishes. The motor brake reduces idle time between batches, which matters when staff are cycling through high volumes throughout the day. The magnetic safety system ensures the machine will not operate unless the lid is correctly seated, a practical safeguard in any fast-moving kitchen.

Key operational advantages include:

• Single-bowl processing reduces handling steps and wash-up between preparations
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper supports yield and minimises waste
• Magnetic safety interlock prevents operation with the lid incorrectly seated
• Motor brake shortens cycle time between successive batches
• Stainless steel bowl and shaft construction supports hygiene and long-term durability

The Blixer 23A is a floor-standing unit and requires a stable, level surface with adequate clearance for safe bowl loading and unloading. It requires a three-phase electrical supply — this is an important installation prerequisite that must be confirmed before purchase, as single-phase supplies are not compatible. Given its output capacity, this model is not well suited to low-volume operations where a compact bench-top blixer would be more appropriate and more economical to run.

This model is a strong fit for hospital and care home kitchens producing texture-modified meals to consistent IDDSI standards, and for production and cook-chill operations processing sauces, emulsions, and purées at scale. For sites with more modest throughput requirements, smaller-capacity blixer models are available in the range. For operations processing significantly larger batches, heavier-duty floor-standing options exist should the 23A fall short of what is needed.

If you would like to talk through whether this capacity is right for your production volumes, or to confirm electrical supply compatibility before going ahead, the team is happy to work through it with you.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 8E V.V. is a combined blender and mixer built for professional food preparation where consistent, repeatable results are required across a range of textures. The Blixer format sits between a single-function blender and a bowl cutter — capable of producing smooth, homogeneous purées at higher speeds whilst handling gentler mixing tasks at lower settings within the same unit. The variable speed motor is central to this, giving the operator direct control over texture throughout each preparation cycle.

In practice, this machine is most commonly found in healthcare and institutional catering environments where texture-modified meal preparation is a daily requirement. For operations producing purées and smooth preparations for patients with dysphagia, consistent output across every batch is a clinical need rather than a convenience. Robot Coupe has developed the Blixer range alongside healthcare and catering professionals over many years, and that focus on controlled, repeatable results is evident in how the unit performs under sustained daily use. It is equally practical in production kitchens preparing sauces, emulsified dressings, mousses, and smooth butter-based preparations at volume.

Operational advantages commonly valued in this unit include:

• Variable speed control for precise texture management from coarse to fully smooth
• Suited to purées, mousses, sauces, emulsions, and texture-modified meal preparation
• Stainless steel bowl and shaft construction built for continuous daily use
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper reduces manual intervention mid-cycle
• Magnetic safety system and motor brake prevent operation unless the bowl is correctly seated

The Blixer 8E V.V. is a countertop unit with no specialist installation requirements beyond a stable, level work surface and access to a standard mains supply. Operators should allow adequate clearance above and around the unit for bowl removal and lid access. In healthcare and food production settings, the bowl and lid design supports thorough cleaning between preparations, though operators should confirm the unit fits within their existing HACCP-compliant hygiene procedures before purchasing.

This model is well suited to hospital and care home kitchens, contract and institutional catering operations, and food production environments where texture-modified meals form a regular part of the output. It is also a practical choice for professional kitchens producing sauces or emulsified preparations in consistent batch quantities. Sites processing very high volumes continuously throughout a service period may benefit from reviewing higher-capacity options in the Blixer range to ensure the workload is properly matched to the machine.

If you would like to talk through whether this model fits your specific preparations, service volumes, or hygiene requirements, the team is happy to work through it with you.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 5VVG is a combined blender and mixer designed for professional kitchens where consistent texture control is a regular operational requirement. Unlike a conventional blender, it processes wet and dry ingredients together in a single stainless steel bowl, removing the need to transfer product between pieces of equipment during preparation. The integrated timer on this model allows preparation times to be standardised across different shifts and operators, which is particularly valuable in high-turnover or multi-staff environments.

Robot Coupe has developed the Blixer range specifically for applications where texture precision matters — most notably healthcare catering, where modified-consistency meals for patients with dysphagia must be produced reliably and repeatedly to the same standard. The variable speed motor, with pulse function at both ends of the range, gives the operator genuine control from coarse blends through to fully smooth purées. This level of control is also well suited to sauce work, mousse preparation, and butter-based applications in restaurant or contract catering kitchens.

Day-to-day operational advantages include:

• Single-unit processing reduces equipment changeovers and product handling between tasks
• Variable speed and pulse deliver precise texture control at every stage of the range
• Removable stainless steel bowl with ergonomic handle simplifies portioning and cleaning
• Polycarbonate lid with watertight seal and centre feed port allows safe ingredient addition mid-process
• Magnetic safety system and motor brake prevent operation unless the unit is correctly assembled

The Blixer 5VVG is a countertop unit requiring only a standard electrical connection — no water, gas, or ventilation provisions are needed. It is worth ensuring the work surface is solid and stable, as the machine generates noticeable vibration at higher speeds. The fine serrated blade requires careful attention during cleaning, as it does with all bowl-cutter style equipment, though the removable bowl keeps the process straightforward as part of a regular kitchen routine.

This model is well suited to hospital and care home kitchens, specialist diet catering operations, and professional kitchens with a consistent need for purées, sauces, mousses, or similar preparations. It handles single portions and moderate batch volumes comfortably. Sites with significantly larger or continuous production demands may find a higher-capacity model within the Robot Coupe range better matched to their throughput.

If you work in a healthcare environment or are weighing up whether this model fits your specific volumes and texture requirements, our team is happy to talk it through with you.

The Robot Coupe BL 5 is a countertop commercial blender designed for professional kitchens that depend on blended preparations as a regular part of their daily output. Built around Robot Coupe's X-Flow technology, it processes ingredients through the blade zone in a controlled, continuous draw — producing a fine, uniform result across both small and large quantities without needing manual intervention mid-cycle.

In a working kitchen, the BL 5 holds up well under the kind of repeated back-to-back cycles that come with real service pressure. It handles a broad range of liquid and semi-liquid preparations reliably — soups, veloutés, coulis, purées, sauces, and batters all fall within its practical range. The consistency it delivers across successive batches is one of its more useful qualities when a kitchen is producing the same preparation to the same standard throughout a shift.

From an operational standpoint, the BL 5 offers several practical advantages for kitchen teams:

• Consistent results across small and large batch sizes without adjusting technique
• Fast cycle times support prep throughput during busy service periods
• Straightforward to clean between uses, supporting hygiene standards
• Robust motor construction suited to daily use across multiple services
• Handles both sweet and savoury preparations without requiring separate equipment

As a countertop unit, the BL 5 needs a stable, accessible worksurface with a nearby power supply. Operators should allow enough clear workspace to handle a full 5-litre jar safely during service. It is worth confirming electrical supply compatibility before the unit arrives on site.

The BL 5 is well suited to restaurants, hotel kitchens, contract catering operations, and cafés running a meaningful volume of blended menu items. Sites running continuous large-batch blending or multiple simultaneous blending stations may find a higher-capacity model better matched to their throughput demands.

If you are unsure whether the BL 5 is the right fit for your prep volumes and service style, our team is glad to talk it through before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 7VV is a combined blender and mixer designed for professional kitchens where texture consistency and repeatable results are a daily requirement. Unlike a conventional blender, it processes both wet and dry ingredients within a single bowl, moving between textures — from coarsely blended through to fully smooth — without stopping to transfer product or reach for a second piece of equipment.

The variable speed motor gives operators continuous control over the finished texture throughout the processing cycle. This matters most in healthcare and care catering, where consistency is a clinical requirement for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. Robot Coupe developed the Blixer concept in close collaboration with healthcare and catering professionals, and that background is evident in how reliably the machine handles fibrous vegetables, raw proteins, and mixed compositions across a full service run.

Day-to-day, the Blixer 7VV offers a number of practical operational advantages:

• Variable speed control adjusts texture continuously without interrupting the cycle
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper reduces bowl residue and product waste
• Magnetic safety system prevents operation unless the bowl is correctly seated
• Motor brake brings the blade to a rapid halt after switch-off, supporting safe handling
• Built-in timer supports consistent batch processing with reduced hands-on operator time

The bowl capacity is suited to batch preparation rather than single portions — practical for producing purées, sauces, mousses, butter mixtures, and textured meals at volumes appropriate for a busy service kitchen or ward catering operation. Sites running significantly higher volumes or requiring continuous blending across extended service periods may find a larger-capacity model from the Blixer range more appropriate.

The 7VV is particularly well suited to healthcare catering teams, contract caterers supporting care environments, and professional kitchens with a regular requirement for blended or semi-liquid preparations. If you would like to talk through whether it fits your specific workflow and service volumes, the team is happy to assist.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 60A is a floor-standing blender mixer built for large-batch food processing in high-volume commercial and production kitchens. It combines blending and mixing in a single machine, handling wet preparations such as sauces, purées, mousses and compound butter alongside dry ingredients where fine grinding is needed. The Blixer concept has a long-established presence in healthcare catering in particular, where Robot Coupe developed the range in close collaboration with dietetic and catering specialists to support the consistent production of texture-modified meals for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties.

In a production environment, the 60A is valued for its ability to process full batches without splitting the load across multiple runs. This matters in cook-chill operations, hospital kitchens and contract catering sites where both throughput and batch-to-batch consistency are critical. Two operating speeds give operators genuine texture control — a lower speed for coarser results and a higher speed for achieving a smooth, uniform finish. A motor brake stops the blade promptly when the machine is switched off, supporting safe and efficient operation during busy production periods.

Practical features that support sustained daily use include:

• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper to return product from the bowl walls during processing
• Magnetic safety system that prevents operation unless the lid is correctly seated
• Stainless steel motor shaft designed to withstand the demands of continuous production use
• Floor-standing configuration that keeps work surfaces free in production areas
• Two-speed motor providing controlled texture across a range of wet and dry preparations

The Blixer 60A requires a three-phase electrical supply. This is standard in most commercial production facilities, but worth confirming on older or smaller sites before ordering. The machine carries a substantial footprint and weight at this capacity, so adequate floor space, level access and sufficient clearance for safe loading and unloading of the bowl are all important considerations during site planning. It is not suited to kitchens without three-phase power or those without the production space to accommodate it properly.

This machine is well suited to hospital and healthcare kitchens, large contract catering operations, central production units and food manufacturing facilities where batch volume and processing consistency are priorities. It is also used in pharmaceutical and food testing environments where controlled processing of wet or dry materials is required. For operations with lower daily batch volumes, a smaller-capacity model within the Blixer range is likely to be a more practical fit. For sites with very high throughput demands or specialist processing requirements, it is worth discussing your exact application before committing to a specification.

If you would like to talk through whether the 60A is the right capacity for your operation, or want to work through power supply and workflow considerations before ordering, we are glad to help.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 5G is a combined blender and mixer that processes food within a single stainless steel bowl. Where a conventional blender or food processor handles one end of the texture spectrum, the Blixer format works across the full range — from coarse chopping through to smooth emulsions, mousses, sauces, and texture-modified preparations — without transferring product between separate machines. This generation of the machine introduces a built-in timer and a redesigned bowl with an ergonomic handle, both practical refinements to a well-established piece of equipment.

In a working kitchen, the 5G is best used for batch preparation ahead of service. The dual-speed motor with pulse function and motor brake gives operators genuine control over texture, which matters when a single prep shift requires both coarse and fine results. The motor brake stops blade movement promptly when the machine is switched off — a practical safety consideration in a busy kitchen environment. Batch sizes suit kitchens preparing for up to around 100 covers, though actual throughput will depend on dish type and how preparation is structured across the shift.

Several design details support practical daily use:

• Watertight lid with centre feed port for adding ingredients mid-process
• Magnetic safety system prevents operation with the lid unseated
• Built-in timer for consistent, repeatable results across different staff and shifts
• Fine serrated stainless steel blade included as standard
• Ergonomic bowl handle for controlled handling during hot or heavy batches

One firm prerequisite: the Blixer 5G requires a three-phase electrical supply. This rules it out for smaller sites without three-phase infrastructure, and it is worth confirming your electrical setup before ordering. If three-phase is not available, suitable single-phase alternatives exist. Equally, for central production units or high-volume operations preparing substantially larger batches, a higher-capacity model is likely the more appropriate choice.

The Blixer format has a particularly strong track record in hospital and care home kitchens where texture-modified and tube-feeding diets are prepared routinely — Robot Coupe developed the format in collaboration with healthcare catering specialists, and that background is evident in how well the machine handles semi-liquid and mixed-consistency preparations. It is equally well suited to restaurant and contract catering kitchens where sauces, emulsions, and blended preparations are a regular part of the prep schedule.

If you would like to discuss whether the 5G is the right capacity for your kitchen, or if you have questions about three-phase supply, the team is happy to work through that with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 15E V.V. is a countertop blender-mixer that combines the functions of a bowl cutter and a blender in a single unit. Where a standard blixer operates at fixed speeds, the V.V. variant adds variable speed control — giving the operator progressive, hands-on adjustment throughout the processing cycle rather than relying on pulse timing alone. The result is a machine built specifically for situations where hitting a consistent, repeatable texture is as important as throughput.

In practice, that variable speed capability is most immediately valuable in healthcare and care catering kitchens producing texture-modified meals to IDDSI frameworks, where achieving the correct texture grade batch after batch is a clinical requirement rather than a preference. The same control is equally useful in restaurant or contract catering environments producing smooth sauces, emulsions, mousses, or purées at volume — anywhere that processing outcomes need to be consistent across an entire service period rather than approximate.

Day-to-day operational advantages include:

• Variable speed motor delivers precise, repeatable texture across every batch
• Large bowl capacity reduces the number of processing cycles in high-volume prep
• Magnetic safety system and motor brake lower operator risk during bowl handling
• Stainless steel construction withstands frequent daily processing cycles reliably
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper helps contain and process contents cleanly

As a large-capacity countertop machine, the Blixer 15E V.V. is a substantial piece of equipment and requires a stable, robust preparation surface with sufficient overhead clearance for the bowl and lid assembly. Before ordering, confirm that your available electrical supply is compatible. Blade handling during cleaning and assembly requires the same care as any bowl cutter — this is worth factoring into staff training at the point of commissioning.

This machine is particularly well suited to healthcare and care catering operations where IDDSI compliance is a daily requirement, and to high-volume restaurant or contract catering kitchens with a consistent need for smooth, processed preparations. For lower-volume operations, a smaller-capacity Blixer model may be a more practical fit. Sites running very high-throughput central production will find it worth exploring whether a larger-capacity unit better matches their cycle volumes.

If you are specifying this machine for a care or healthcare setting, or are working to a specific texture-modification protocol, speaking with us before placing an order is the most reliable way to confirm the right capacity and configuration from the outset.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 10E is a combined blender and mixer designed for professional food preparation. Where a standard commercial blender handles liquids, the Blixer is built to process wet and semi-liquid preparations — blending ingredients to a smooth, consistent texture while simultaneously mixing them, all within a single bowl. It has a well-established presence in healthcare catering, where it is routinely used to prepare texture-modified meals for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. It is equally practical in general catering for sauce production, mousses, compound butters, and similar semi-liquid preparations.

In day-to-day use, the Blixer 10E performs reliably under the repetitive batch work typical of healthcare kitchens and contract catering operations. Two-speed operation gives operators meaningful control over texture — useful when working to specific dietary protocols and when achieving a precise consistency in emulsified sauces. The motor handles dense or fibrous ingredients without labouring, and a motor brake stops the blade promptly when the machine is switched off, which supports safe, efficient operation during busy service periods.

Key operational advantages include:

• Blends and mixes in a single bowl, reducing handling and clean-down steps
• Two-speed motor supports both coarse and fine texture requirements
• Magnetic safety interlock prevents operation with an incorrectly seated bowl
• Motor brake stops the blade promptly on switch-off
• Integrated bowl scraper supports thorough, consistent processing of each batch

The Blixer 10E requires a three-phase electrical supply. This is a firm installation requirement and should be confirmed with your electrical contractor before specifying the machine — it is not suitable for single-phase installations. The bowl capacity is well matched to regular batch preparation; kitchens processing very high daily volumes may find a larger-capacity unit more practical.

This machine is best suited to healthcare catering teams, care homes, and hospital kitchens where texture-modified food preparation is a routine part of the operation, as well as to contract caterers and production kitchens needing a dependable blending and mixing solution for sauces and semi-liquid preparations. Operations with lighter or less frequent demands may find a smaller-capacity Blixer a more proportionate fit, while large-volume production kitchens may benefit from stepping up to a higher-capacity model.

If you would like to talk through whether the Blixer 10E suits your kitchen's workflow and daily volumes, our team is happy to work through the details with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 20E is a combined blending and mixing machine designed for high-volume professional use. Unlike a jug blender, it operates in a sealed bowl with a direct-drive shaft, allowing large batches of wet and dry ingredients to be processed in a single operation. In practical terms it sits between a food processor and an industrial blender — handling smooth purées, soups, sauces, mousses, butter mixtures, and finely ground preparations — which makes it a versatile piece of equipment across a broad range of catering and healthcare environments.

In a busy service environment, the Blixer 20E is valued for consistency and throughput. The two-speed motor gives operators meaningful control over texture: lower speed for coarser results, higher speed for fine, homogenous blends. A motor brake brings the blade to a rapid stop on switch-off, which keeps turnaround time between batches short. A magnetic safety interlock prevents the machine from operating unless the lid is correctly seated, a useful safeguard when pace picks up during service.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the design is straightforward to work with:

• Sealed bowl limits splashing and ingredient loss during processing
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper reduces manual intervention between cycles
• Stainless steel bowl and shaft withstand daily heavy use without staining or deterioration
• Magnetic interlock prevents accidental operation during bowl changes or cleaning
• Two-speed control suits a wide range of preparation types without additional attachments

The Blixer 20E requires a three-phase electrical supply. This is standard in most commercial kitchen installations, but it is worth confirming before purchase — the machine is not compatible with single-phase supplies. Counter space and proximity to the correct outlet should both be factored in at the planning stage, as the machine has a substantial footprint.

This model is particularly well suited to hospital and care catering operations producing texture-modified meals for patients with dysphagia, and to high-volume kitchens where soups, sauces, or purées are prepared in regular large batches. For smaller operations or sites without three-phase power, a lower-capacity Blixer would be worth considering. Kitchens running continuous high-volume production may find a larger bowl capacity more appropriate.

If you would like to talk through whether the Blixer 20E fits your kitchen setup — particularly around electrical supply, batch volumes, or the range of preparations you need to handle — the team is happy to work through it with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 15E is a combined blender and mixer designed for demanding commercial food preparation. Where a standard blender or food processor handles one task, the Blixer handles both wet and semi-liquid preparations in a single pass — producing smooth, consistent results without transferring product between machines. It is particularly well regarded in healthcare catering, where reliable texture control is critical for patients on modified diets, including those requiring dysphagia-safe meals.

In production environments, the Blixer 15E is built for batch work. Its heavy-duty motor operates at two speeds, giving operators meaningful control over final texture — from coarse through to fully smooth. The bowl capacity makes it practical for kitchens regularly producing large volumes of soups, sauces, purées, mousses, and blended meals, and the machine is designed to sustain repeated cycles throughout a full service period without difficulty.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, several features translate into practical advantages:

• Single machine handles blending and mixing, reducing equipment clutter on the prep bench
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper maintains mix consistency without manual intervention
• Magnetic safety system prevents the motor running unless bowl and lid are correctly seated
• Motor brake stops the blade rapidly when the lid is lifted, reducing handling risk mid-service
• Stainless steel bowl and shaft support durability and straightforward daily cleaning

The Blixer 15E requires a three-phase electrical supply. This is standard in most commercial kitchen environments, but worth confirming before purchase — particularly if the machine is being introduced to an older or smaller facility. It is a substantial countertop unit, so adequate bench space and proximity to the correct power supply should be factored into planning from the outset.

This model is well suited to hospital and care home catering teams, contract caterers producing modified-texture menus, and larger restaurant or production kitchens with consistent high-volume blending requirements. Smaller operations or sites without a three-phase supply may find a lower-capacity single-phase model more appropriate. For very high-volume or continuous-production environments, a larger capacity Blixer variant is worth considering.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 4A is a combined blender and mixer designed for commercial kitchens and healthcare catering operations that need consistent, repeatable results across single portions and small batches. The 4.5 litre stainless steel bowl handles a practical range from individual portions up to around 1.5kg, covering sauces, purées, mousses, butter mixtures, and texture-modified meals for patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. The Tri designation indicates this unit requires a three-phase electrical supply.

Robot Coupe developed the Blixer concept in close collaboration with healthcare and catering specialists, and that background is evident in how the machine performs in practice. The dual-speed motor with pulse function gives operators genuine control over finished texture — a detail that matters both in restaurant prep and in clinical catering environments where consistency standards are tightly defined. The machine handles wet and dry ingredients without requiring a change of bowl or attachment, which keeps workflow straightforward during a busy prep session.

• Fine serrated stainless steel knife blade included as standard for immediate use
• Magnetic safety system and motor brake require the bowl to be correctly seated before operation
• Polycarbonate lid with watertight seal and centre fill port for adding ingredients mid-cycle
• Stainless steel bowl construction supports thorough cleaning and withstands daily commercial use
• Dual speed plus pulse for precise control over finished texture across a range of preparations

The Blixer 4A requires a three-phase electrical connection — not a standard single-phase supply — and this should be confirmed with your electrician or facilities team before ordering. The footprint is compact enough for a dedicated prep bench, and the unit requires no gas or water connections. Allowing adequate clear bench space around the machine is advisable when it forms part of a high-activity prep area.

This model is well suited to hospital and care home catering operations, restaurant prep kitchens producing up to around 100 covers, and small-batch food production environments handling wet or semi-liquid foods. If batch sizes regularly exceed the 4.5 litre bowl capacity, a larger-capacity model would be worth considering. Equally, if blending is only occasional or your site has a single-phase supply only, a smaller or differently configured unit may be the more practical choice.

If you are unsure whether the Blixer 4A is the right fit for your kitchen — particularly around three-phase supply availability or typical batch volumes — our team is happy to talk through the options with you beforehand.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 4A is a single-speed blender mixer that sits between a conventional blender and a food processor. It blends, mixes, and emulsifies within the same stainless steel bowl, handling batches from a single portion up to around 2.5 kg without transferring ingredients between pieces of equipment. It is a straightforward, reliable prep machine designed to deliver consistent results with minimal operator input.

In working kitchens, the Blixer 4A is most commonly found in healthcare catering, care homes, and hospital kitchens where texture-modified meals need to be produced reliably and hygienically across a service. The fixed motor speed removes the need for adjustment between batches, and the pulse function gives operators precise control when a full cycle would over-process the mixture. A magnetic safety interlock prevents the machine from running unless the bowl and lid are correctly seated — a practical safeguard in a busy prep environment.

Key operational advantages include:

• Blends wet and dry ingredients in one bowl, cutting transfer steps and cross-contamination risk
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper keeps ingredients in contact with the blade throughout
• Stainless steel bowl and blade are robust and straightforward to clean to food-safe standards
• Compact footprint suits smaller prep counters without sacrificing usable capacity
• Pulse function prevents over-processing on delicate or short-cycle preparations

The Blixer 4A runs on a standard single-phase supply, so no specialist electrical work is required beyond a suitable commercial socket. There are no water connections or ventilation requirements. It is bench-mounted, and the dimensions allow it to sit comfortably on most prep counters. It is worth confirming worktop space and socket position before the unit arrives.

This model is well suited to kitchens serving up to around 100 covers, and particularly practical where small-batch blending and texture modification are a regular part of the prep workflow. For sites processing larger volumes continuously across a full service, a higher-capacity model from the Blixer range may be worth considering.

If you would like to talk through whether the Blixer 4A is the right fit for your kitchen's prep requirements, the team is happy to help you work through it.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 10E V.V. is a combined blender and mixer designed for commercial and healthcare catering kitchens that require precise, repeatable results across both wet and dry preparations. What sets it apart from machines offering fixed speed steps is the continuously variable motor speed, which allows operators to move through the full RPM range and hold at exactly the point that produces the required texture — batch after batch, without guesswork.

In practice, the machine handles sauces, mousses, butter-based preparations, and dry ingredient grinding through the same bowl assembly, reducing the number of units needed in a prep kitchen. The stainless steel bowl is built for rigorous daily use and thorough cleaning, while the polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper keeps the contents moving towards the blade without manual intervention. Two safety features worth noting in a busy kitchen: a magnetic interlock prevents operation unless the bowl is correctly seated, and a motor brake stops the blade promptly when the lid is opened.

Key operational features include:

• Continuous variable speed for precise texture control across a wide range of recipes
• Integrated lid scraper reduces mid-process stops to redistribute contents manually
• Magnetic safety interlock and motor brake for reliable safe operation
• Single bowl assembly handles both wet and dry ingredient processing
• Stainless steel bowl construction suited to demanding daily cleaning cycles

The Blixer 10E V.V. is well established in healthcare catering environments where dysphagia diet production requires consistent, documented texture outcomes and rigorous hygiene standards. It is equally capable in restaurant and contract catering kitchens running moderate batch volumes of sauces, purées, and emulsions. Kitchens with higher continuous throughput or larger batch requirements should consider whether a greater-capacity model would better match their production pattern.

If you would like to talk through whether this model fits your prep volumes and application before placing an order, the team is happy to help.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 30A is a floor-standing blender mixer designed for commercial kitchens and healthcare catering operations where large-batch food processing is a consistent daily requirement. The Blixer format combines blending and mixing in a single machine, handling both wet and dry ingredients to produce smooth, uniform results — from sauces and purées to texture-modified meals prepared in line with dysphagia guidelines. It sits towards the larger end of the Blixer range and is built for environments where sustained output is expected throughout the working day.

In busy production kitchens, the Blixer 30A handles high-throughput preparation sessions reliably. A two-speed motor allows operators to match processing speed to the ingredient type — lower speed for controlled blending, higher speed for finer, more consistent textures. The magnetic safety interlock and motor brake are practical features in fast-moving kitchens: the machine will not operate unless the bowl and lid are correctly seated, and the blade stops rapidly after each cycle, which supports safer batch-to-batch handling. The stainless steel bowl and shaft are built to withstand repeated daily use without degradation in performance.

Key operational advantages include:

• Combines blending and mixing in one machine, removing the need for separate equipment
• Two processing speeds to suit different ingredient types and target consistencies
• Magnetic safety interlock prevents operation if the bowl or lid are incorrectly seated
• Motor brake halts the blade quickly after each cycle, supporting safer handling between batches
• Stainless steel construction supports thorough cleaning between production runs

The Blixer 30A requires a three-phase electrical supply, which is standard in most commercial kitchen installations but should be confirmed before ordering. As a floor-standing unit, it occupies a dedicated footprint and is best treated as a fixed production station rather than a machine that will be repositioned during service. Workflow placement is worth considering at the planning stage, particularly in kitchens where batch processing follows a defined sequence. Weight and access should also be factored in when deciding on its position within the kitchen.

This machine is most commonly found in hospital and care home kitchens producing texture-modified meals, as well as in contract catering operations, central production units, and larger hotel or restaurant kitchens with consistent high-volume blending requirements. Robot Coupe developed the Blixer concept in close collaboration with clinical nutrition specialists, and it remains a well-established choice in healthcare settings. For smaller operations or sites without three-phase power, a lower-capacity model from the Blixer range is worth considering. For very high-output central production environments, it is worth discussing whether a larger-capacity configuration would be a better fit.

If you are working through the detail on power supply, batch volumes, or texture-modification requirements, the team is happy to talk it through and help you reach the right decision.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 2 is a countertop blender-mixer designed for commercial and healthcare catering environments where single-portion processing takes priority over batch production. It combines the cutting action of a blender with the mixing capability of a food processor, allowing operators to handle wet and semi-liquid preparations in a single machine without transferring between pieces of equipment. The stainless steel bowl is sized for portions and small quantities rather than volume throughput, making it a precise, controlled tool for kitchens where consistency at the portion level matters.

Robot Coupe developed the Blixer concept in close collaboration with healthcare catering specialists, and it remains a recognised choice in care homes, hospital kitchens, and similar settings where texture-modified meals are required for residents or patients with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. Beyond healthcare, it is commonly used in smaller restaurant prep areas and specialist diet kitchens where build quality and consistency are important but the volume does not justify a larger bowl cutter. Typical applications include puréed foods, sauces, mousses, butter mixtures, and finely blended preparations.

In daily use, operators typically value the following:

• Sealed polycarbonate lid with centre cover allows ingredients to be added during operation
• Magnetic safety system prevents the motor running unless the bowl is correctly seated
• Motor brake stops the blade promptly on switch-off, reducing handling risk during busy service
• Fine serrated stainless steel knife handles a broad range of textures straight from the box
• Compact footprint suits smaller prep counters and allows the unit to be repositioned easily

Installation is straightforward. The Blixer 2 requires only a standard electrical supply and adequate worktop space — there are no water, gas, or ventilation requirements. It is worth being clear about the bowl size: the 2.9-litre capacity is well matched to individual portions and small quantities, but it is not suited to high-volume batch production. Operations that need to process larger quantities in a single pass should consider a higher-capacity Blixer or bowl cutter from the range.

The Blixer 2 is best suited to care homes, hospital catering departments, smaller restaurant kitchens, and any setting where portion-level accuracy, texture consistency, and reliable blending of semi-liquid preparations are the primary day-to-day requirements. It is less appropriate where volume throughput is the main consideration.

If you would like to talk through whether the Blixer 2 fits your portion volumes or how it integrates into a texture-modification workflow, we are glad to work through that with you before you commit.

The Robot Coupe Blixer 8E is a combined blender and mixer built for commercial food preparation where one machine needs to handle a wide range of tasks reliably. Unlike a standard blender, the Blixer is designed to work across varying consistencies — from smooth purées and emulsified sauces through to denser mixed preparations — making texture control straightforward rather than a compromise between functions.

In a working kitchen, the Blixer 8E holds up well across extended service periods. The heavy-duty motor handles repeated cycles without the thermal fatigue that affects lighter semi-commercial equipment. Two operating speeds give operators genuine control over finished texture, and the motor brake allows the bowl to be accessed quickly and safely once a cycle ends. The magnetic safety system prevents operation unless the lid is correctly seated, which is a practical safeguard in busy environments where shortcuts can become habits.

Day-to-day, the Blixer 8E offers a number of operational advantages:

• Combines blending and mixing in one unit, reducing equipment footprint and cleaning time
• Stainless steel bowl and blade assembly hold up well under repeated daily use
• Polycarbonate lid with integrated scraper helps recover product efficiently
• Two speeds provide reliable control over texture outcomes
• Widely used in healthcare catering for dysphagia diet preparation to IDDSI standards

The Blixer 8E requires a three-phase electrical supply. This is standard in most commercial kitchen installations but is worth confirming before ordering, particularly for smaller, newer, or temporary catering setups where three-phase may not be available. The 8-litre capacity suits medium-to-high volume production well; sites processing significantly larger batches in a single cycle may find a higher-capacity model within the Robot Coupe Blixer range better matched to their throughput requirements.

This machine is particularly well suited to healthcare, hospital, and care home catering operations where dysphagia-compliant meal preparation is a daily requirement. It is equally practical in restaurant, event, and contract catering kitchens where sauces, mousses, and blended preparations form part of regular service. Smaller operations or those with lower daily volumes may be better served by a more compact model in the same range.

If you want to talk through whether the Blixer 8E fits your operation — or want to check the electrical requirements against your site — we are glad to help before you commit.
