Siesta

The Siesta Maya is a side chair manufactured from high-grade recyclable polypropylene. It is a straightforward, single-piece shell chair designed for hospitality and food service environments where ease of maintenance and durability under regular use matter more than elaborate construction.

Polypropylene chairs of this type are a practical choice for cafés, casual dining rooms, canteens, and outdoor hospitality areas. The material resists moisture and is easy to wipe down between covers, which suits settings where tables turn frequently and cleaning time is limited. At 3.25kg, the chair is light enough for staff to reposition or stack without difficulty, reducing the physical load during a room reset.

• Recyclable polypropylene construction — easy to clean and resistant to moisture
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including covered terrace areas
• Lightweight enough for quick room resets and stacking storage
• Available in dark grey, which tends to hide minor scuffs well in busy service environments

There are no electrical, gas, or water requirements for installation. Placement on uneven or outdoor surfaces is worth considering — polypropylene chairs perform well on smooth or sealed floors, but stability on rough outdoor paving may vary depending on the base design. The chair's dimensions suit standard table heights commonly used in commercial dining settings.

The Maya is well suited to cafés, casual dining operations, staff canteens, and outdoor seating areas where a clean, modern aesthetic and low maintenance requirements are priorities. For venues requiring upholstered seating or heavier-duty frames for high-density, long-service settings, a more substantial chair may be worth considering.

If you are fitting out a larger number of covers or want to discuss colour options and volume pricing, the team is happy to help you work through the details.

The Siesta Artemis is a one-piece arm chair moulded from glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene, sold here as a pack of two. The single-injection moulding process produces a chair without joints or assembly points, which means there are no fixings to work loose and no weak spots to develop over time. At 5kg per chair, it is light enough to move and rearrange quickly between services.

In a commercial environment, chairs take significant daily wear — stacking, scraping, outdoor exposure, and repeated cleaning. The Artemis is built for this. The polypropylene construction resists moisture, most commercial cleaning chemicals, and UV degradation, making it equally practical indoors or on a covered terrace. The stackable design keeps floor space clear during quiet periods and simplifies end-of-day setup changes.

Practical advantages for front-of-house operators include:

• Stackable design reduces storage footprint between services
• One-piece moulding eliminates joint failure and wobble over time
• Wipe-clean surface suits fast turnaround between covers
• Suitable for outdoor use without requiring separate indoor and outdoor seating stock
• Recyclable polypropylene material supports sustainability considerations

There are no installation requirements — these chairs arrive ready to use. The black finish is a neutral choice that works across a range of interior schemes, though operators with high-traffic terraces or bright outdoor settings may want to consider whether a lighter colour would show less fading over extended outdoor exposure.

The Artemis suits cafés, casual dining restaurants, bistros, and hospitality venues looking for a practical, low-maintenance seating option that performs reliably indoors and out. If you are furnishing a larger space or need a different configuration, it is worth discussing your full requirements with the team before ordering.
