Sushi & Tapas

The Roller Grill TPR is a refrigerated countertop showcase designed to hold and present chilled food at service temperature while keeping it visible and accessible to staff or customers. It is commonly used for tapas, cured meats, dressed seafood, chilled starters, condiments and dressed vegetables in environments where the appearance of the food is as important as its temperature.

The unit uses static refrigeration rather than forced air, which is a practical consideration when displaying delicate or garnished items. Fan-assisted cooling can dry out exposed food surfaces over a service period — static refrigeration avoids this, making the TPR a more suitable choice for dressed plates, seafood and anything where presentation quality needs to hold through service. Electronic thermostat control keeps temperatures consistent without requiring intervention from front-of-house staff during the shift.

Day-to-day, the unit is straightforward to operate and maintain:

• Curved front window lifts for easy access during service or self-selection
• Sliding rear doors allow restocking without disturbing the front display
• Removable GN 1/3 trays simplify changeover and end-of-day cleaning
• Interior LED lighting presents food well without adding heat to the cabinet
• Stainless steel construction meets the hygiene expectations of commercial food service

As a countertop unit, the TPR plugs into a standard power supply and requires no dedicated installation. That said, placement does matter — in warm front-of-house environments, positioning away from direct sunlight, hot lamps or heat-generating equipment will help the unit maintain temperature more efficiently and reduce the load on the refrigeration system.

The TPR is well suited to tapas restaurants, hotel buffet counters, delicatessens and food retail settings where a compact, presentable chilled display is needed at the point of service. Sites with higher throughput, longer display runs or a need to hold a greater volume of product may be better served by a larger-capacity or heavier-duty alternative.

If you are not certain whether the TPR fits your counter format, service volume or ambient conditions, we are glad to talk it through before you commit.
