Cast Iron

This is a cast iron table base from Bolero, finished in black and designed for use in commercial dining environments. It provides the structural foundation for a table top, sitting at a standard dining height and offering a solid, stable platform suited to everyday front-of-house use in cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants.

Cast iron is a practical material choice for high-footfall venues. It resists impact damage well and holds up reliably under the kind of repeated contact and movement that comes with busy service periods. At 16.5kg, the base is heavy enough to stay secure during use without needing to be fixed to the floor, which helps reduce the risk of tables shifting or tipping — a common frustration in tightly spaced dining areas or venues that see a lot of standing trade. A zinc protective layer makes the base suitable for covered outdoor use as well as indoor settings.

• Stable under regular use without requiring floor fixings
• Cast iron construction handles impact and daily wear reliably
• Zinc coating provides protection in damp or outdoor conditions
• Compatible with round tops up to 600mm diameter or square tops up to 700x700mm
• Straightforward to pair with replacement or upgraded table tops

In practical terms, this base suits venues looking to refresh or standardise their furniture without a full replacement programme. It is compatible with Bolero table tops with a maximum diameter of 600mm or a maximum square size of 700x700mm — it is worth confirming your intended top dimensions before ordering. For larger table formats or heavier commercial use, a more substantial base may be more appropriate.

If you are unsure whether this base suits your table tops or your venue layout, we are happy to help you work through the options.

The Bolero black cast iron table base is a straightforward, heavy-duty pedestal base designed for commercial dining environments. Cast from solid iron with a black finish, it provides a stable foundation for dining tables in cafés, bars, pubs, and restaurants where furniture is in constant use throughout the day.

Cast iron performs well in busy front-of-house settings because its weight works in its favour. At just over 20kg, the base stays firmly planted underfoot during service, reducing the risk of tables shifting when customers lean on them or when staff clear covers at pace. That inherent stability is something lighter aluminium or resin bases often struggle to match under the same conditions.

From a practical standpoint, cast iron holds up well to the knocks and scuffs that come with daily commercial use. The material does not dent or deform under impact, and the zinc protective layer helps resist surface corrosion, making the base a reasonable option for covered outdoor or semi-outdoor areas such as beer gardens and terrace settings.

• Resistant to impact damage and deformation in daily service
• Heavy base weight reduces table movement during busy covers
• Zinc layer provides additional protection against surface corrosion
• Compatible with Bolero table tops up to 600mm round or 700x700mm square
• Suitable for indoor use and covered outdoor dining areas

It is worth noting that the weight, which is an advantage in use, does make handling and repositioning more demanding than lighter alternatives. If the layout of your dining room changes frequently, or if staff regularly move tables between service periods, that is worth factoring into your decision. For lighter-use or temporary settings, a more portable base may be more practical.

This base is well suited to established dining venues — restaurants, café bars, and pub dining rooms — where tables sit in fixed or semi-fixed positions and durability over time matters more than ease of relocation. If you are fitting out a larger venue or need guidance on matching base sizes to your existing or planned table tops, the team are happy to talk it through before you order.

The Bolero black cast iron table base is a single-column pedestal base designed for use with compatible table tops in commercial dining environments. At 720mm high and 420mm in diameter at the foot, it provides a stable, floor-standing support suitable for seated dining across cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants.

Cast iron performs reliably in hospitality settings because it resists the knocks and repeated contact that come with daily service. The weight of the base — 12.5kg — works in its favour here, keeping the table grounded during busy periods and reducing the risk of tops shifting when guests sit down, stand, or place items down with force. A zinc protective layer gives the base some tolerance for outdoor or semi-exposed use, though it is primarily intended for covered areas.

From an operational standpoint, a cast iron pedestal base offers a few practical advantages over lighter alternatives:

• The mass of the base provides stability without requiring additional ballast or floor fixing
• The single-column design keeps the floor area clear, which helps with cleaning and gives guests more leg room than four-leg alternatives
• The black finish is neutral enough to work alongside most table top finishes and interior schemes
• Cast iron does not corrode in the way steel can, making it a longer-term investment for most venues

This base is compatible with Bolero table tops up to 600mm round or 700x700mm square. It is worth confirming top compatibility before ordering, as not all table tops share the same fixing pattern or column diameter. The 12.5kg weight means delivery and positioning will need a second pair of hands, and floor surfaces should be checked — the foot spread is 420mm, which is relatively compact.

This base is a practical choice for cafés and casual dining venues fitting out new seating areas or refreshing existing furniture. For venues that need heavier outdoor-rated bases or larger footprints for bigger table tops, it is worth reviewing the wider range before committing.

If you are fitting out a full dining area and want to make sure the base, top and layout all work together, our team is happy to talk it through before you order.

This is a cast iron table leg base from Bolero, designed in a classic brasserie style. It provides the weighted foundation for a standard-height dining table and is intended for use in commercial hospitality environments — restaurants, cafés, bars, and similar venues.

Cast iron construction gives the base its key working qualities. At 15kg, it sits firmly on the floor without requiring additional fixing, resisting the kind of movement that occurs during busy service when chairs are pulled in and out repeatedly. That stability matters in a dining room context, where a table that shifts or rocks undermines both the guest experience and the safety of the setting. The material also handles outdoor and covered terrace use reasonably well, offering good resistance to impact and surface wear over time.

From an operational standpoint, the practical advantages are straightforward:

• Substantial weight keeps tables stable during busy service without floor fixings
• Cast iron resists surface damage from regular commercial use
• Brasserie styling suits traditional and contemporary dining room schemes
• Standard height fits most commercial table tops without adaptation
• Low maintenance — no mechanical parts or complex cleaning requirements

This base is well suited to indoor dining rooms and covered outdoor areas. It is worth checking floor surface and load-bearing if you are specifying large numbers for a single space, and confirming top compatibility before ordering — not all table tops share the same fixing pattern or size requirement.

If you are fitting out a venue and want to discuss quantities, top pairings, or whether this base suits your particular space, the team is happy to help before you commit to an order.

The Bolero Rectangular Cast Iron Table Base is a floor-standing pedestal base designed to support rectangular table tops in commercial dining environments. Constructed from cast iron, it provides a stable, weighted foundation that resists the everyday knocks and movement associated with busy front-of-house use.

Cast iron bases are a practical choice for hospitality venues where tables need to hold their position through service periods without rocking or shifting. The material weight works in its favour here — at 19kg, it sits firmly on the floor and is not easily displaced by casual contact. This makes it well suited to pubs, bars, restaurants, and café environments where durable, low-maintenance furniture is a priority.

From an operational standpoint, the base offers a few straightforward advantages:

• Cast iron construction resists wear and corrosion in high-traffic dining areas
• Rectangular footprint suits booth or banquette seating configurations
• Compatible with a range of commercially available table tops
• Stable weighted base reduces the need for ongoing adjustment or re-levelling
• Simple, unfussy profile works with most interior styles

Installation is straightforward — the base requires no fixing to the floor and is freestanding. Table tops need to be compatible with the base fixing arrangement, so it is worth confirming compatibility before ordering, particularly if you are pairing the base with tops from a different supplier. The 19kg weight means it is manageable for two people to position, though manoeuvring through tight service corridors or up staircases is worth planning for in advance.

This base is well suited to smaller to mid-sized hospitality venues looking for a reliable, practical solution without unnecessary complexity. If you are furnishing a larger site or have specific layout requirements, it is worth discussing your setup with the team before committing to a quantity.

If you have questions about compatibility with particular table tops or suitability for your space, we are happy to help you work through the options.

This is a cast iron table base designed to work at coffee height, intended for use with compatible pre-drilled table tops. It is flat-packed for straightforward self-assembly and is suited to café areas, waiting zones, breakout spaces, and any front-of-house setting where a lower table height is the right fit for the seating arrangement.

Cast iron bases of this type are a practical choice for commercial environments because the material provides the dead weight needed to keep tables stable under everyday use without requiring floor fixings. The base is compatible with table tops up to 800mm, which covers the majority of standard two-person tops used in café and bar settings.

• Cast iron construction provides stable, weighted support without floor fixings
• Flat-packed for easy transport and self-assembly on site
• Compatible with pre-drilled table tops up to 800mm
• Coffee height suits low seating arrangements in café and lounge areas
• Straightforward to clean around — no complex base structure

It is worth noting that this base is designed specifically for coffee height use, so it is not interchangeable with a dining height base if your layout requires standard seated dining. If you are fitting out a space that needs a mix of heights, or if you need a base suited to heavier-duty or outdoor use, it is worth checking compatibility before ordering.

This base suits cafés, hotel lobbies, breakout areas, and similar front-of-house spaces where a reliable, low-maintenance table solution is needed. If you have questions about which base height or top size works best for your layout, the team is happy to help you work it through before you commit.

This is a standard-height cast iron table base from Bolero, designed to pair with a range of pre-drilled table top surfaces to create a complete dining table. The base arrives flat-packed for straightforward assembly and is finished in cast iron, making it easy to coordinate with different top styles and colours across a single site.

Cast iron bases are a practical choice for front-of-house environments where stability under daily use matters. The weight of the material keeps the base planted on the floor during busy service without the wobble common in lighter alternatives, and the finish holds up well in environments where furniture is moved and repositioned regularly.

• Flat-pack delivery simplifies storage and on-site assembly
• Compatible with Bolero's Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur and Werzalit pre-drilled tops
• Cast iron finish coordinates across mixed table top ranges
• Standard dining height suitable for most seating configurations
• Durable material suited to high-footfall service environments

Because this base relies on pre-drilled table tops for assembly, it is worth confirming compatibility before purchasing if you are working with tops from outside the Bolero range. The base weight of 8.5kg is worth considering if furniture is frequently repositioned between service periods, though for fixed or semi-fixed layouts this is rarely a concern.

This base is well suited to cafés, restaurants, pub dining areas, and contract hospitality environments where a consistent floor-level furniture solution is needed across multiple tables. It is a solid choice for mid-volume sites. Operators fitting out larger venues with heavier commercial demands may want to consider whether a more substantial base specification is appropriate for their footfall.

If you are unsure whether this base works with your chosen table top or want guidance on quantity for a fit-out, the team is happy to talk it through with you.

This is a cast iron table base from Bolero, finished in white and designed to support a round table top in café, restaurant, or hospitality dining environments. It is a floor-standing pedestal-style base, intended for indoor use where a clean, simple aesthetic is required alongside dependable stability.

Cast iron bases of this type are well suited to busy front-of-house settings precisely because of their weight and solidity. The base sits firmly on the floor without flex or shift, which reduces the common problem of tables rocking during service — particularly relevant in tiled or uneven floor surfaces. The substantial construction also means the base is unlikely to be knocked over by passing staff or guests in tighter dining layouts.

The white finish suits a range of dining styles, from contemporary café interiors to more traditional bistro settings. Practically, it is compatible with Bolero's own pre-drilled table top ranges, including Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur, and Werzalit tops, which simplifies the process of putting together a matched table solution without the need for custom drilling or adapter plates.

• Stable, heavy base that resists movement during service
• White finish works with a range of front-of-house interior styles
• Compatible with multiple Bolero pre-drilled table top ranges
• Cast iron construction offers long-term durability in daily use
• Straightforward to assemble with a matching pre-drilled top

At just under 18kg, the base is heavy enough to provide good stability but light enough to be repositioned when layouts need to change. It is suited to indoor use and is not intended for exposed outdoor environments where standing water could be an issue over time.

This base works well for cafés, small restaurants, and hospitality venues fitting out dining areas with a consistent table specification. For operators equipping larger or outdoor spaces, it is worth considering whether a different finish or base format would better suit the setting.

If you are unsure which table top to pair with this base or how many to specify for your layout, we are happy to talk it through.

This is a cast iron twin leg table base sold as a pack of two, designed to pair with a range of standard commercial table tops. The twin leg profile sits at standard dining height and provides a stable, floor-level footprint that works well in both open dining areas and tighter room layouts where a central pedestal base might restrict seating arrangements.

Cast iron construction gives these bases the weight and rigidity needed for a busy front-of-house environment. At 11kg per base, they resist the everyday knocks and shifts that come with high-turnover covers, and the material holds up well to the wear of a working hospitality setting without the flex or instability sometimes seen in lighter alternatives.

In practical terms, the twin leg design suits operators who need to push tables together for larger parties, since the legs sit towards the ends of the table rather than occupying the central floor space. The bases are compatible with Bolero's predrilled top ranges — including Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur and Werzalit — which simplifies ordering when fitting out or refreshing a dining area with a consistent look.

• Stable cast iron construction suitable for high-turnover dining environments
• Twin leg profile allows tables to be joined without obstruction underfoot
• Compatible with multiple Bolero predrilled table top ranges
• Standard dining height suits most front-of-house seating configurations
• Sold in pairs, reducing per-unit cost for larger fit-outs

These bases are well suited to restaurants, cafés, pub dining rooms and contract catering venues fitting out multiple covers. If you are working on a larger installation or need advice on matching tops and bases across a full dining floor, the team is happy to help you get the combination right before you order.

The Bolero cast iron table base is a single-pedestal, floor-standing base designed for use in commercial hospitality environments. It follows standard dining height proportions and is built to pair with Bolero's range of predrilled table tops, including Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur, and Werzalit surfaces.

Cast iron is a sensible choice for a commercial base. It provides meaningful weight and a low centre of gravity, which keeps the table stable during a busy service without the need for additional fixings. The broad foot spread further reduces the risk of toppling — a practical consideration in tighter floor layouts where tables are seated close together or customers are moving around frequently. At 18kg, the base has enough mass to stay planted but is still manageable when moving furniture for cleaning or reconfiguration.

From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are:

• Stable underfoot during service — resists nudging and knocks
• Compatible with a wide range of Bolero predrilled top surfaces
• Clean profile with no hollow legs or complex joints to trap debris
• Black finish sits neutrally against most commercial interior schemes
• Suitable for indoor use across cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants

This is a single-pedestal base and is best matched to square or round tops of proportionate size. For longer rectangular surfaces or banquet-style configurations, a twin-base arrangement is generally the more appropriate approach. It is worth confirming top compatibility before ordering, particularly where tops are not predrilled to the standard Bolero pattern.

If you are fitting out a new space or working through which base and top combinations will suit your floor plan, we are happy to talk it through before you commit to an order.

This is a cast iron table leg base designed for poseur or bar-height use, typically paired with a matching table top to create a standing-height table suitable for front-of-house hospitality settings. At poseur height it is a practical choice for bar areas, brasserie counters, and high-top seating arrangements where customers stand or perch rather than sit at a conventional dining height.

Cast iron bases of this type are a common and well-proven choice in busy hospitality environments because the material provides genuine stability without the need for ballast plates or additional weighting. In outdoor settings — patios, beer gardens, and covered terraces — that inherent mass helps keep tables settled during service without constant repositioning. The base is not immune to heavy wind conditions, but for most sheltered outdoor or semi-outdoor areas it performs reliably across seasons.

From an operational standpoint, the practical advantages of this kind of base include:

• Heavy cast iron construction resists tipping under normal service conditions
• Compatible with Bolero and Werzalit pre-drilled table tops for straightforward assembly
• Suited to both indoor bar areas and sheltered outdoor hospitality spaces
• Decorative profile appropriate for brasserie, café, and bar-style fit-outs
• Durable finish that holds up to regular cleaning and outdoor exposure

It is worth noting that at 12kg this base is substantial to handle during installation or layout changes. For venues that frequently reconfigure their floor plan, the weight that provides stability also makes repositioning more demanding. It is also worth confirming top compatibility before ordering — the base is designed for pre-drilled tops from the Bolero and Werzalit ranges rather than universal use.

This base is well suited to bars, cafés, bistros, and restaurant areas looking for a straightforward, durable poseur-height solution without a premium price. If you are outfitting a larger scheme or need guidance on top pairings and quantities, our team is happy to help you plan it through before you order.

The Bolero Cast Iron Ornate Table Leg Base is a single-pedestal table support built for front-of-house use in hospitality environments. It is cast from iron with a decorative, ornate profile finished in black, and is sized for standard dining height. The construction is straightforward — a heavy, stable base designed to keep tables firmly in place throughout a busy service.

Cast iron at this weight performs reliably in dining rooms, bar areas, and café floors where tables take daily wear. The mass of the base means tables are unlikely to shift during service, whether customers are leaning on them, staff are clearing quickly between covers, or the floor surface is uneven. The ornate profile gives it a presence that suits traditional interiors — it is a better fit for a pub, bistro, or independent café than for a minimal or contemporary scheme where a plain tubular base might be more appropriate.

• Compatible with Bolero's pre-drilled top ranges including Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur, and Werzalit
• Standard dining height suits most conventional seating — confirm against your chair seat heights before ordering
• Cast iron construction resists the daily knocks of a busy dining room without deterioration
• Black finish works across a wide range of traditional interior styles
• Weight provides natural stability without additional floor fixing

This base is well suited to traditional pubs, independent restaurants, bistros, and café-bars where durability and character matter equally. It pairs best with Bolero's own pre-drilled compatible tops for a secure, properly aligned fit. At 18.5kg per unit, it is worth factoring handling and storage into your planning if you are furnishing a larger site. For operators needing a different profile or a higher-volume layout, plainer or heavier-duty alternatives are available in the range.

If you are working through a larger fit-out or want to confirm which top and base combination suits your floor plan, the team is happy to talk it through before you commit to an order.

The Bolero Cast Iron Table Leg Base is a single pedestal-style floor-standing base designed for use in commercial dining environments. It provides a stable platform for a range of pre-drilled table tops and is built from cast iron to withstand the daily demands of high-footfall front-of-house settings.

Cast iron bases of this type are a familiar choice across busy cafés, pub dining rooms, restaurants, and contract catering spaces. The material provides inherent weight and rigidity, which means the table stays in place under the regular loading, clearing, and repositioning that commercial dining involves. At 13.5kg, the base is substantial enough to stand firm without requiring floor fixings in most standard installations.

Practical points worth noting:

• Compatible with Bolero's Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur, and Werzalit pre-drilled top ranges
• Standard dining height, suitable for pairing with conventional commercial seating
• Cast iron construction handles everyday knocks and scuffs in busy front-of-house use
• No power, water, or gas connections required — straightforward placement and assembly
• The 610mm base diameter delivers a stable footprint without taking up excessive floor space

This base suits venues setting up or refreshing a dining area where a clean, understated aesthetic and proven durability take priority. It works well as part of a coordinated furniture order across a single site. If you are specifying for an outdoor space, it is worth confirming which tops and bases carry an exterior rating before committing to a configuration.

If you are planning a larger fit-out and want to talk through top and base compatibility or quantities, we are happy to help you work through it before you order.

The Bolero Cast Iron Step Square Table Base is a fixed-height, single-pedestal base designed for use with compatible predrilled square table tops in commercial front-of-house settings. Cast iron construction and a black finish make it a practical, neutral option for cafés, bars, pub dining rooms, and bistros where tables need to withstand daily use without fuss.

Cast iron bases earn their place in busy hospitality environments largely because of their weight. At 15kg, this base sits firmly on smooth or tiled floors, resisting the gradual rocking and shifting that lighter alternatives tend to develop over months of heavy use. Tables that wobble frustrate both staff and guests; the mass of a cast iron base largely eliminates that problem without any additional adjustment.

From an operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are:

• Solid cast iron construction holds up well across years of front-of-house use
• Standard 720mm dining height works with conventional chair heights without modification
• Square footprint suits tighter floor layouts and distributes load evenly
• Compatible with Bolero's Duroflat, Durolight, Compact Exterior, Lamidur, and Werzalit predrilled top ranges
• Black finish sits neutrally within most interior schemes and shows wear less readily than lighter finishes

There are no utilities or installation requirements — the base positions directly on the floor. It is worth confirming before ordering that your chosen top is predrilled to the correct fixing pattern, as not all tops will align without modification. On uneven or stone-flag floors, it is sensible to consider floor protection or levelling pads to avoid marking both the base and the surface beneath it.

This base suits operators fitting out standard dining areas with moderate to high daily covers. It is a reliable choice for single-site restaurants, pub dining rooms, and café fitouts. Operators equipping larger or more intensive venues may find it worth reviewing the wider range of bases before committing to a single option.

If you would like guidance on matching a base to a particular top or working out the right configuration for your floor layout, the team is glad to help before you place an order.
