The Mitre Comfort Aquasoft Mattress Protector is a quilted mattress protector with a bonded PU waterproof backing, designed to offer a comfortable sleeping surface while protecting the mattress from liquid damage. The super king size is fitted with a 25cm deep skirt to secure it firmly across a range of mattress depths commonly found in hotel and hospitality environments.

The quilted top layer adds a degree of softness without significantly altering the feel of the underlying mattress, which makes it a practical choice where guest comfort and mattress longevity both need to be considered. The waterproof PU coating works quietly beneath the quilted surface, providing a reliable moisture barrier without the rustling or stiffness sometimes associated with older-style waterproof covers.

  • Quilted surface for added comfort without bulk
  • Waterproof PU backing protects the mattress from liquid damage
  • 25cm deep skirt fits a range of standard mattress depths
  • Suitable for regular commercial laundering

This protector is well suited to hotel and guest accommodation operations looking for an economical, functional solution that balances protection with guest comfort. It is positioned at the practical end of the range; properties with higher specification bedding programmes or particularly deep-fill mattresses may want to consider an alternative from the broader Mitre linen range.

If you are equipping multiple rooms or planning a full linen programme, it is worth speaking with the team to ensure you are selecting the right specification across the board.

Frequently asked questions

Is this mattress protector suitable for commercial laundering?

Yes, it is designed with hospitality use in mind and is suitable for regular commercial laundering cycles. Always follow the care label instructions to maintain the integrity of the waterproof PU backing over repeated washes.

Will the 25cm skirt fit our existing mattresses?

The 25cm deep skirt is sufficient for most standard hotel mattress depths, but if you are using particularly deep-fill or divan-style mattresses, it is worth checking the measurement before ordering in bulk to avoid fit issues across a room programme.

How does this compare to other Mitre mattress protectors in the range?

This protector sits at the economical end of the Mitre range, offering a practical balance of comfort and waterproof protection. If your property has a higher specification bedding programme or requires a more substantial quilted feel, there are alternative options in the range worth considering — the team can help identify the right fit for your operation.
