Tramontina
Tramontina Stainless Steel Poultry Roaster 320x380mm
£49.20(£59.04 inc VAT)
The Tramontina poultry roaster is a straightforward stainless steel roasting tool designed for cooking chicken, turkey, and other joints in a commercial oven. The perforated basket design lifts the meat clear of the pan, allowing heat to circulate underneath and helping to produce a more even cook with better surface browning than a solid tray would typically allow.
The perforations also serve a secondary purpose: they allow smoke to reach the food when wood chips or similar are placed beneath, giving operators a simple way to add a smoked finish without additional specialist equipment. In a busy kitchen, that kind of versatility from a single piece of kit has practical value.
- Perforated basket promotes even heat circulation around the meat
- Lifts food clear of cooking juices to reduce steaming and improve texture
- Suitable for smoking applications as well as standard roasting
- Stainless steel construction stands up to daily kitchen use
- Dishwasher safe, keeping cleaning time to a minimum
Being stainless steel throughout, the roaster is durable enough for regular use in a professional kitchen environment and won't corrode or stain in the way that some coated alternatives can over time. It fits a standard oven shelf without requiring any special installation or setup.
This roaster is well suited to smaller operations — cafés, bistros, gastro pubs, or hotel kitchens producing roast dishes in moderate volumes. For sites turning out large quantities of roast poultry in continuous service, a larger or heavier-duty option may be worth considering.
If you're unsure whether this size suits your menu and oven configuration, we're happy to talk it through.

Frequently asked questions
Is this roaster suitable for a busy restaurant doing multiple covers at service?
It works well for kitchens producing roast poultry in moderate volumes. If you're running continuous high-volume roasting across multiple services, it's worth considering a larger or heavier-gauge option to match the throughput you need.
Can this be used in a combination oven as well as a conventional oven?
Stainless steel roasters of this type are generally compatible with combination ovens. That said, if you're using steam or specific combi programmes, it's worth checking that the basket design suits your cooking method and that it fits your oven's rack spacing correctly.
How does the perforated basket improve on a standard solid roasting tray?
A solid tray tends to collect juices beneath the meat, which can cause the underside to steam rather than roast, leading to uneven texture. The perforated basket raises the food above the pan, allowing hot air to circulate underneath and helping to produce a more consistent result across the joint.
