The Moffat FTPG3 Focus Polar is a self-contained chilled servery designed to display cold accompaniments — butter, mayonnaise, coleslaw, relishes, and similar condiments — at the point of service. It requires no electrical connection. A eutectic ice pack is frozen overnight and fitted into the base before service, providing the cold source for a defined service window through GN-compatible Polar-plates set into a shallow stainless steel well. An illuminated gantry and fitted sneeze guard complete the unit, giving a presentable, front-of-house appearance without the need for any fixed installation.
In a busy service environment this unit performs well where a neat, self-contained chilled condiment display is needed for a predictable service period. Carvery stations, buffet counters, event hospitality, and mobile catering setups are all common and appropriate applications. It is worth being straightforward about its limits: the eutectic pack carries a finite cold reserve, and ambient temperature will influence how well it holds safe temperatures through a longer or warmer service. It is not a substitute for a mains-powered refrigerated display where extended holding or higher product volumes are needed.
- No mains connection required — genuinely portable for events and mobile use
- Illuminated display with sneeze guard for clean front-of-house presentation
- Simple daily preparation — freeze the pack overnight and fit before service
- GN-compatible Polar-plates for straightforward container sizing
- Compact footprint suits existing carvery and servery counter layouts
This unit is well suited to smaller operations, event caterers, and venues with a seasonal or occasional need for a chilled condiment display rather than a permanent refrigerated solution. For sites with longer service periods, high ambient temperatures, or larger display requirements, a powered alternative may be a better fit. If you are unsure whether the eutectic format will work for your service conditions, we are happy to talk it through before you commit.

The Lincat LD2 is a countertop heated display unit designed to hold hot food at safe serving temperatures across a carvery or servery counter. It combines a thermostatically controlled heated base with an overhead gantry fitted with halogen heat lamps and a toughened glass sneeze screen, forming a self-contained hot-hold and display station that keeps food ready throughout service without constant chef supervision.
In busy service environments, the real value of the LD2 is its ability to maintain consistent food temperature across an extended hold period. The thermostatic base control lets operators fine-tune the holding temperature to suit what is on display — useful when carved meats, roasted vegetables, and sauces need to sit side by side at slightly different temperatures. The halogen lamps above provide radiant top-down heat that counters surface cooling during quieter spells when customer flow slows but the counter remains open.
- Thermostatic base control for adjustable, consistent holding temperature
- Halogen overhead lamps deliver sustained radiant top heat during service
- Toughened glass sneeze screen supports food safety compliance
- Aluminium base surface distributes heat evenly across GN pans
- Connects to a standard single-phase supply — no specialist wiring required
As a countertop unit, the LD2 needs to be positioned on a stable, level surface with adequate height clearance for the gantry. It is worth measuring available headroom carefully before confirming the installation position, and checking that your counter can carry the combined weight of the unit and loaded GN pans. Even though no specialist electrical supply is needed, connection should still be carried out by a competent electrician.
The LD2 is well suited to smaller carvery operations, pub lunch services, school canteens, and institutional catering where hot food is served over a counter for a sustained period. It is not intended for high-volume operations running several large GN loads simultaneously — for that level of throughput, a wider or multi-gantry configuration would be a more practical choice.
If you are working out whether the LD2 will fit your counter layout or match your service pattern, the team is glad to talk it through with you.

The Victor BTP4 is a freestanding heated buffet topper combining a stainless steel base unit with an overhead quartz heat lamp. It is designed to maintain food at serving temperature across buffet and carvery service periods, providing radiant warmth to dishes and pans placed directly on the surface. Victor Manufacturing has supplied commercial hospitality equipment in the UK for many years, and the BTP4 reflects that background — a straightforward, well-built unit with no unnecessary complexity.
In service, the BTP4 earns its place on carvery counters and buffet runs where food needs to be held at temperature over extended periods without drying out or deteriorating. The quartz lamp delivers consistent overhead heat, and variable heat control in the base allows operators to adjust output depending on what is being held — useful when the line moves between dense joints of meat and lighter dishes throughout a session. Should the lamp need replacing during service, it is operator-changeable, which keeps downtime to a minimum.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the unit offers several practical advantages:
- Stainless steel top accepts pans and dishes in direct contact with the surface
- Variable heat control allows adjustment across different food types and service periods
- Operator-changeable quartz lamp limits disruption if replacement is needed mid-service
- Removable base simplifies cleaning at the end of service
- Supplied with a 13A plug on a 2-metre cord — no dedicated electrical supply required
Because the BTP4 runs from a standard 13A socket, it requires no fixed wiring and can be positioned on an existing servery counter with minimal preparation. This suits operations that need flexibility in layout or move equipment between service areas. It is worth ensuring adequate counter space is available and, in enclosed servery areas, giving some thought to ventilation, as the quartz lamp generates localised overhead heat during use.
The BTP4 is well suited to hotels, pub carveries, restaurants, and event catering operations running buffet or carvery service formats. It is a sensible, low-maintenance choice where a reliable heated topper is needed without the complexity or footprint of a larger integrated servery unit. For sites running high-volume continuous service or requiring several fixed topper positions across a permanent buffet run, it is worth considering whether a more substantial servery solution would be a better fit for the long term.
If you are putting together a carvery or buffet setup and want to talk through how the BTP4 sits alongside your other equipment, the team is glad to help you think it through before you commit.

The Hatco HGSM-4060 is a self-contained heated shelf unit built for front-of-house food holding. The top surface is black ceramic glass, which distributes heat evenly across the full area, keeping serving vessels and plated dishes at a consistent holding temperature throughout service. It is a straightforward piece of kit: plug in, set the temperature, and it holds food at the right temperature without requiring any fixed installation or specialist commissioning.
In practice, these units are a common sight across hotel buffets, banqueting operations, and restaurant service counters. The black glass finish is deliberately understated, keeping the visual focus on the food rather than the equipment — a practical consideration wherever the unit is in guest view. Five selectable temperature settings allow operators to match holding temperatures to different food types, which is useful when a single display line is serving a mix of delicate and more robust dishes at the same time.
Key operational advantages include:
- Uniform surface heat reduces the risk of hot spots drying out food at the edges
- Modular design allows multiple units to sit side by side to extend a display line
- Fully portable and self-contained — no fixed installation, plumbing, or ventilation required
- Stainless steel housing is robust in daily service use and straightforward to wipe down
- Low-profile footprint suits both front-of-house display counters and back-of-house pass applications
Because the unit is portable, practical requirements are minimal. A suitable mains supply nearby is the primary consideration. It is worth confirming that the surface the unit sits on can handle sustained heat output, and checking that the circuit capacity is sufficient if running several units side by side from the same supply.
The HGSM-4060 suits operators who need flexible, presentable food holding without committing to fixed servery infrastructure. It is particularly well matched to banqueting and events environments where layouts change regularly between services. For higher-volume operations or sites where a more extensive heated servery solution is needed, a heavier-duty or larger-format option may be worth considering.
If you are building out a buffet or servery arrangement and want to talk through what will work best for your setup, the team is always happy to help.
£333.00(£399.60 inc VAT)
The Victor HP1 is a compact, mains-powered hot plate designed to hold food at safe serving temperatures during buffet, carvery, and counter service. Built by Victor Manufacturing — a British company with more than fifty years in the commercial catering sector — it is a straightforward, self-contained unit with a heated stainless steel surface and an adjustable thermostat. There is nothing complex about it, which is a significant part of its practical appeal.
In service, the HP1 performs well wherever operators need a reliable holding solution without fixed infrastructure. It suits carvery stations, buffet counters, and temporary servery points where maintaining food temperature between the kitchen and the guest is the priority. The adjustable thermostat gives sensible control over surface temperature, whether you are holding carved meats, roasted vegetables, or plated dishes across a full service period.
Key practical advantages include:
- Portable design that can be repositioned between services or stored when not in use
- Stainless steel surface wipes down quickly and is straightforward to keep hygienic
- Removable wooden carrying handles allow safe handling when the unit is warm
- Standard 13-amp plug on a 2-metre cord — no dedicated electrical supply needed
- Adjustable thermostat allows surface temperature to be matched to the food being held
Because the HP1 runs from a standard 13-amp socket, installation requirements are minimal — no hardwiring, no extraction, and no water connection. That flexibility makes it a practical choice for sites where equipment needs to move between service areas or locations. As a compact single-surface unit, it is best suited to smaller servery volumes; operations running multiple simultaneous service points or higher throughput may find a heavier-duty solution better matched to their needs.
The HP1 is well suited to hotels, care homes, schools, and smaller hospitality venues running carvery or buffet service, and to contract caterers who need portable holding equipment that travels between sites. If you are weighing up whether this unit fits your service layout or volumes, we are happy to talk it through.
£2,731.00(£3,277.20 inc VAT)
The Hatco DCSB400-2420-1 is a self-contained carving station designed for front-of-house carvery and hot food display. It combines an overhead heat lamp in a nickel finish with a heated stone base, an integrated glass sneeze guard, and a contained cutting board, forming a complete serving point that keeps carved meats and hot dishes at safe holding temperatures throughout service.
In a live carving environment, presentation and food safety have to work together without placing additional demands on the team running service. The heated base incorporates an adjustable thermostat and a dedicated power switch, giving operators straightforward control over holding temperature. The overhead lamp works alongside the base to maintain surface temperature on the food itself — particularly useful during the slower periods of a carvery sitting, when dishes may rest longer between portions. The contained cutting board keeps juices within the unit and reduces mess during active carving, which matters when the station is in direct view of guests.
Practical operational advantages include:
- Dual heat sources — base and overhead lamp — support consistent food surface temperature
- Adjustable thermostat gives operators direct holding temperature control
- Integrated glass sneeze guard meets front-of-house hygiene requirements
- Contained cutting board reduces mess and simplifies active carving
- Nickel-finish lamp suits formal dining, hotel, and event environments
The unit is designed for countertop or buffet table placement and requires a standard electrical connection. It is not intended for built-in installation. Before ordering, it is worth confirming available surface space and the proximity of power outlets, as the lamp assembly and base together need adequate clearance on all sides.
This station is well suited to hotels, country clubs, restaurants running a carvery format, and catered events where the carving point is a visible part of the dining experience. It is designed for moderate-volume service rather than high-throughput operations — sites carving for very large numbers at a single sitting may find a heavier-duty or larger-format unit more appropriate.
If you would like to talk through whether this station fits your service layout or expected covers, the team is happy to help you think it through.
£947.00(£1,136.40 inc VAT)
The Hatco UGFFBL Ultra-Glo is a portable food warmer designed to hold fried and hot foods at serving temperature during service. It uses ceramic radiant heating elements and can be configured to deliver heat from above, below, or both directions simultaneously, which allows operators to match heat delivery to the product being held — a practical consideration when the menu moves between chip-style fried foods and other items that respond differently to direct or reflected heat.
In a busy service environment, consistent holding temperature is what separates a reliable chip scuttle from one that causes problems mid-service. The ceramic elements help temper heat delivery, reducing the risk of drying out or over-crisping during extended holding periods. The unit handles the steady throughput typical of a pub kitchen, quick-service restaurant, or fish and chip shop without requiring constant adjustment from service staff.
Practical advantages for counter and front-of-house service include:
- Selectable heat direction — above, below, or combined — to suit the product being held
- Ceramic heating elements that moderate heat distribution and help protect product quality
- Portable, plug-in format allowing repositioning between service areas or sites
- Integral base sign holder with clear plastic insert for service or menu labelling
Because the unit is freestanding and plug-in, there are no fixed installation requirements beyond a suitable power socket at the point of service. It is worth confirming that the counter position allows adequate clearance around the unit for heat dispersal and safe access during service. The portable format suits seasonal use, event catering, or variable servery layouts well, though it is not intended to replace a fixed, high-capacity holding station where continuous heavy volume demands more robust infrastructure.
This warmer is well suited to fish and chip shops, pub kitchens, quick-service counters, and catering functions where a reliable, repositionable holding solution is needed at the point of service. For sites running very high volumes continuously, a fixed or higher-capacity holding unit is likely the more appropriate long-term choice.
If you are comparing holding options or want to confirm this suits your counter layout and service pattern, we are happy to talk it through.
£319.00(£382.80 inc VAT)
The Hatco DL-725-CL is a decorative radiant heat lamp designed to keep plated or carved food warm at open servery counters, carvery stations, and front-of-house pickup points. It works through overhead radiant heat rather than enclosed holding, meaning food stays visible and accessible to staff and guests while being held briefly at temperature between preparation and service.
In busy service environments, this type of lamp performs a straightforward but operationally important role. It slows the rate at which food cools during plating, carving, and self-service — bridging the gap between kitchen output and the moment food reaches the guest. It is commonly used in hotel carvery and buffet settings, banqueting operations, and restaurant pass and pickup counters where presentation is as much a consideration as thermal performance.
A practical strength of the DL-725-CL is the breadth of configuration available across the Hatco range. The stock version is finished in glossy grey with a fixed cord drop of 1,168mm from ceiling rose to shade base. Non-stock options extend to seven powder-coated colours, seven gloss finishes, six plated finishes, nine shade styles, eight mounting arrangements, and four switch positions — which makes it considerably easier to match the lamp to an established front-of-house scheme rather than working around a single finish. Non-stock configurations carry an approximate six-week lead time, which is worth factoring into any fit-out or refurbishment programme.
- Suitable for open servery counters, carvery stations, and plating pickup points
- Slows heat loss during service without enclosing or obscuring the food
- Wide choice of finishes and shade styles for front-of-house environments
- Multiple mounting arrangements to suit different ceiling and gantry setups
- Stock finish available for prompt supply; custom configurations available to order
It is worth being clear about what this lamp is and is not. It is not a substitute for a heated holding cabinet or drawer where food must be maintained at a safe core temperature for an extended period. Its role is short-term heat retention at the point of service. For operations with higher-volume or longer-duration holding requirements, enclosed or active holding equipment would be the more appropriate solution.
If you are working through which finish, cord drop, or mounting arrangement suits your servery layout — particularly within a specific décor scheme or a tight installation window — we are happy to talk it through before anything is ordered.
£601.00(£721.20 inc VAT)
The Victor HDU20Z is a British-made countertop heated display unit combining a stainless steel base with a toughened glass sneeze guard and an illuminated overhead gantry. Its purpose is straightforward: to hold prepared hot food at safe serving temperatures while keeping it clearly visible and accessible to customers across a full service period.
In a working servery, that simplicity matters. The unit does not demand constant staff attention to maintain food quality, and the quartz heat lamps in the gantry are operator-changeable, meaning a routine lamp replacement does not require an engineer callout. Independent controls for the base unit and the gantry allow staff to fine-tune heat levels by dish type — useful when the servery is carrying a mix of items with different holding requirements at the same time.
Day-to-day operational benefits include:
- Operator-changeable quartz lamps — no engineer callout for routine maintenance
- Independent base and gantry controls for flexible heat management across different dishes
- Toughened glass sneeze guard is robust and straightforward to clean between services
- Illuminated gantry improves counter presentation and helps food remain visually appealing throughout service
- Supplied with a 13A plug on a 2-metre cord — no hard wiring or dedicated circuit required
Installation is uncomplicated. The unit plugs into a standard 13A socket and sits directly on a counter or servery surface, which keeps setup time minimal and avoids any need for specialist electrical work. The slimline base manages the counter footprint reasonably well, though it is worth accounting for the full gantry height when positioning beneath overhead shelving or extraction canopies.
The HDU20Z is well suited to carveries, pub serveries, staff restaurants, hotel dining operations, and similar counter-service environments running small to medium service volumes. For sites holding a greater number of dishes simultaneously, or sustaining higher throughput across extended service periods, a larger-capacity unit in the Victor range would be worth considering.
If you are working out how this unit fits your servery layout or expected covers, our team is happy to talk it through before you commit to a purchase.
£598.00(£717.60 inc VAT)
The Victor BTG4 is a countertop buffet topper designed to hold fully cooked food at a consistent serving temperature throughout carvery and buffet service. It combines a stainless steel base unit with a glass display top and an overhead quartz heat lamp that delivers steady, radiant warmth across the food below. The unit plugs into a standard 13-amp socket, so there is no dedicated electrical supply or installation work involved.
Keeping food at an even temperature from the first plate to the last is one of the more practical challenges in buffet service. The quartz lamp provides gentle, consistent heat that suits sliced meats, roasted vegetables, and similar buffet fare without drying out the surface or continuing to cook the food. The variable heat control allows staff to adjust output to match the pace of service or the particular sensitivity of a dish — useful when the unit moves between different menu formats across the week.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the BTG4 is designed to be straightforward to run and maintain:
- Removable base section simplifies cleaning at the end of service
- Operator-changeable quartz lamp avoids engineer call-outs for a routine consumable
- Interchangeable top system allows the glass section to be swapped for alternative tops to suit different service formats
- Glass top presents food clearly and suits front-of-house carvery and buffet counters
- Plug-and-go operation via a standard 13-amp socket with a 2-metre cord
The BTG4 requires a flat, stable countertop surface and a nearby 13-amp socket. It is a temperature-maintenance and display tool for food that is already fully cooked and at serving temperature — it is not a substitute for a heated gantry and is not suited to holding dense proteins at high temperatures over extended periods. When planning a buffet layout, it is worth confirming socket positions in advance to make practical use of the cord length.
The BTG4 is well suited to hotels, contract caterers, restaurants running a regular carvery, and event catering operations where a portable, presentable food display matters. It is a practical choice for moderate-volume service. Sites running extended service periods or displaying larger volumes simultaneously may find a higher-output or larger-footprint option more appropriate.
If you are putting together a buffet or carvery counter and want to confirm the BTG4 fits your layout and service pattern, the team is happy to talk through the options with you.
£702.00(£842.40 inc VAT)
The Victor BTC4 is a freestanding heated buffet topper designed around carvery and buffet service. It combines a heated base unit with an overhead quartz heat lamp to maintain carved meats and hot dishes at a safe, consistent serving temperature from the first cover to the last. Victor has a long-standing background in UK-manufactured servery equipment, and the BTC4 reflects that practical, service-focused design approach.
Keeping food at temperature throughout an extended carvery service is a genuine operational challenge, particularly where carving pace varies or queues build. The BTC4 applies heat from both above and below simultaneously, which significantly reduces the risk of food cooling during longer service windows. Should the quartz lamp need replacing, the operator can carry this out without calling an engineer — a practical advantage during a busy service period when downtime is not an option.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the unit offers several useful features:
- Variable heat control on the base to suit different food types and service conditions
- Removable base for straightforward end-of-service cleaning
- Fully mobile on castors — can be repositioned between kitchen, servery, or dining space as needed
- Supplied with a 13A plug on a 2-metre cord, requiring no special electrical installation
- Interchangeable top allowing adaptation for different servery configurations
Because the BTC4 runs from a standard 13A socket, it is well suited to hotel dining rooms, pub carveries, function suites, and institutional catering operations. It is not designed for continuous all-day use in high-volume central production environments, where a fixed servery counter would generally be the more appropriate choice. For operators running multiple stations simultaneously, additional units can be deployed alongside it.
If you are putting together a carvery or buffet servery layout and want to talk through what combination of equipment would work best for your service style and space, the team is happy to help.
£951.00(£1,141.20 inc VAT)
The Victor HDU30ZG is a British-made counter-top heated display unit combining a heated base for gastronorm pans with an illuminated overhead gantry and sneeze guard. It is designed for carvery stations, self-service counters, and assisted food service points in restaurants, hotels, and contract catering operations where consistent holding temperature and food presentation both matter.
In service, the unit holds food at temperature across two independently controlled zones — the base and the gantry — giving operators genuine flexibility during a busy service. The ability to adjust base heat without affecting the overhead lamp output is a practical advantage when different food types are being held side by side. The quartz heat lamps are operator-changeable, which is worth noting: if a lamp fails mid-service, it can be swapped out without waiting for an engineer.
Day-to-day, the HDU30ZG offers a number of practical advantages:
- Independent base and gantry controls allow precise management of different food types
- Illuminated gantry improves food presentation at counter and buffet service points
- Operator-changeable quartz lamps help minimise downtime from minor lamp failures
- Toughened glass and stainless steel construction wipes down quickly between services
- Supplied with a 13A plug and cable for straightforward counter-top deployment
Installation is uncomplicated. The unit runs from a standard 13A socket with no hardwiring or dedicated ventilation required, making it straightforward to position on an existing servery counter. Operators planning a run of multiple units should check counter depth and allow adequate clearance for pan changes before finalising the layout.
This unit is well suited to pub carveries, hotel restaurants, and contract catering operations running a single servery station or a short counter run where food turnover is regular. For operations needing greater pan capacity or an extended servery line, a larger multi-section unit is likely a better fit.
If you are weighing up whether this configuration suits your service setup, we are happy to talk it through.
£1,801.00(£2,161.20 inc VAT)
The Victor CTB2 is a British-made countertop bain marie topper designed to hold hot food at consistent serving temperatures throughout a front-of-house service period. Unlike a conventional wet bain marie, it uses dry heat rather than water to maintain temperature from below, removing the need for water management during service. A heated lamp gantry warms food from above as well as below, while a toughened glass sneeze guard provides the hygiene screening expected at a servery counter. The unit accommodates two full-size gastronorm pans and sits on an existing counter surface without requiring any fixed installation work.
In practice, the CTB2 performs reliably through a typical lunch or dinner service in environments such as staff restaurants, hotel carveries, pub serveries, and school dining halls. The adjustable thermostat gives operators the flexibility to match holding temperature to the menu, and the dimmer-controlled quartz lamps allow presentation lighting to be adjusted to suit the food and the setting. Lamps are operator-changeable, which keeps the unit in service without waiting on an engineer.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the key practical advantages are:
- Dry heat operation removes water top-ups and simplifies cleaning considerably
- Heated gantry lamps reduce heat loss on open food displays during service
- Adjustable thermostat allows holding temperature to be matched to different dishes
- Toughened glass sneeze guard supports food hygiene compliance at the counter
- Operator-changeable lamps reduce maintenance dependency and service downtime
The CTB2 runs from a standard 13-amp socket on a moulded plug and two-metre cord, so no dedicated electrical circuit or installation work is required — it simply needs a stable, level counter with a nearby socket. Gastronorm pans are sold separately, and carvery, glass plate, and tiled pan configurations are available to match the service style.
The CTB2 is well suited to small to mid-sized servery operations looking for a compact, self-contained hot holding solution without the complexity of a plumbed wet bain marie. For operations running extended service periods, larger menus, or a greater number of simultaneous dishes, a larger or heavier-duty servery unit may be the more appropriate choice. If you are weighing up which configuration fits your counter layout or service style, the team is happy to talk it through.
£699.00(£838.80 inc VAT)
The Victor BTT4 is a British-made heated buffet topper designed to maintain food temperature during carvery and buffet service. It combines a tiled base with a quartz heat lamp mounted overhead, delivering radiant heat to plated food and serving dishes presented on the counter below. The unit runs from a standard 13-amp socket on a two-metre cord, so it can be positioned without any dedicated electrical installation.
Holding food at a consistent and safe temperature across a full service period is one of the more practical challenges in carvery and buffet operations. The BTT4 addresses this with variable heat control at the base, allowing output to be adjusted depending on the food type and ambient conditions of the service area. This matters in practice — a setting that suits carved joints may not suit lighter or drier items sitting alongside them.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the BTT4 offers several useful advantages:
- Tiled base is removable, making cleaning between services straightforward.
- Variable heat control reduces the risk of over-drying or overheating held food.
- Standard 13-amp supply eliminates the need for specialist electrical installation.
- Quartz lamp is operator-replaceable, minimising downtime if a lamp fails during service.
- Victor's interchangeable top system allows alternative bases to be used with the same lamp unit.
Beyond finding a stable, heat-resistant surface and a nearby 13-amp outlet, installation is minimal. It is worth confirming there is sufficient clearance above the lamp for safe operation, and that the power cord can reach a socket without trailing across the service area.
The BTT4 is well suited to hotels, restaurants, and contract catering operations running carvery or buffet formats at moderate throughput. For sites running high-volume continuous service or needing to cover a longer counter run, a heavier-duty heated gantry or multi-lamp configuration may be worth considering instead.
If you would like to talk through whether the BTT4 fits your service format or counter layout, our team is happy to help you work it out.
£1,163.00(£1,395.60 inc VAT)
The Victor HDU40ZG is a British-made heated display unit designed for front-of-house servery environments. It combines a heated base capable of holding gastronorm pans with an illuminated overhead gantry and a sneeze guard, keeping food at the right temperature, protected from the public, and presented attractively throughout a service period.
The dual-zone layout is particularly practical where different foods need to be held at different heat levels simultaneously, or where the service team wants flexibility as a carvery or buffet run progresses. Independent controls for the base and gantry allow adjustments to one zone without affecting the other — a small but genuinely useful operational detail during a long service. The quartz lamps in the gantry are operator-changeable, so a failed lamp can be replaced without waiting for an engineer and without interrupting service.
Key operational advantages include:
- Independent base and gantry controls for flexible heat management during service
- Illuminated gantry improves food visibility and counter presentation
- Sneeze guard protects food without obstructing the customer's view
- Operator-changeable quartz lamps reduce downtime and maintenance dependency
- Plug-and-cord connection allows repositioning without fixed electrical installation
Running from a standard 13-amp supply, the unit can be placed or relocated without a dedicated circuit or trade wiring work — a practical advantage for operators who reconfigure their servery layout for events, seasonal menus, or room changes.
This unit is well suited to carvery stations, hotel and pub buffets, staff restaurant servery counters, and similar settings where food needs to be held attractively over an extended period. It is a counter-top unit and requires a stable, level surface with adequate clearance around the gantry structure. For high-volume operations running multiple concurrent servery points, it is worth considering whether a larger or heavier-duty alternative would better match the throughput.
If you are specifying a new servery setup or replacing existing heated display equipment, our team is happy to talk through the options and help you find the right match for your service volumes and counter layout.

The Lincat HB3 is a heated display base designed to sit beneath full-size gastronorm pans and maintain safe food holding temperatures throughout a service period. It uses thermostatic control to deliver consistent heat from below, keeping food hot and presentable without requiring operator attention once it is set up and running.
In a working servery environment, the ability to hold temperature reliably from the start of service to the last cover is what separates a well-run display from one that creates food safety risk or produces food that deteriorates in quality. The HB3 is built for continuous daily use in exactly these conditions. The adjustable thermostat gives operators the flexibility to set the right heat level for different dishes, which is particularly useful when the unit is used across more than one service period with different food types.
The practical advantages in a servery setting include:
- Thermostatic control reduces the risk of food drying out during extended holding
- Accepts standard 1/1 GN pans, fitting neatly into most existing counter layouts
- Adjustable feet allow levelling on uneven or slightly irregular surfaces
- Clean, unobtrusive design keeps the visual focus on the food being displayed
- Robust construction suited to the wear of regular daily commercial use
The HB3 is a plug-in electric unit with no gas or water connections required, which keeps installation and positioning straightforward. It should be placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface with reasonable clearance around it. Its compact footprint makes it easy to incorporate into most counter servery arrangements without disrupting the surrounding setup.
This unit is well suited to smaller and mid-sized operations — pub carveries, hotel breakfast or lunch buffets, staff restaurants, and café-style counters where a single GN display position is needed. For sites running multiple bays simultaneously or higher-volume servery lines, a multi-position or larger-capacity heated display arrangement is likely to be a better fit.
If you want to check this will work within your existing counter layout or are comparing it against other options, we are happy to talk it through.

The Hatco DCSB400-R24-1 is a self-contained front-of-house carving station designed to hold carved meats and hot foods at safe serving temperatures throughout service. It combines a decorative overhead heat lamp in a nickel finish with a thermostatically controlled heated stone base, so food is maintained from above and below simultaneously rather than depending on a single heat source. A glass sneeze guard is included for open-display food safety compliance, and the unit comes with a matching cutting board sized to contain meat juices and protect the surface beneath.
The dual heat approach gives a noticeably more consistent hold than a lamp alone — particularly useful for carved joints or whole roasts that may sit on the station across an extended service window. The thermostat allows operators to set appropriate hold temperatures for different proteins or service styles without overstressing the food, which matters when the same station might carry beef one session and poultry the next.
- Dual heat source maintains temperature from above and below throughout service
- Adjustable thermostat matches hold temperature to protein or service style
- Glass sneeze guard supports food safety requirements at open-display carving points
- Nickel finish suits formal front-of-house environments where presentation is part of the offer
- Matching cutting board contains juices and keeps the serving surface clean and contained
This is a holding and display unit, not a cooking appliance. Food must arrive at temperature before being placed on the station. It requires a standard electrical supply and adequate surface clearance around the lamp head. The rounded base footprint suits most servery counters, but it is worth confirming available surface depth and the position of nearby power points before ordering.
The DCSB400-R24-1 is well suited to hotels, country clubs, carvery restaurants, and private catered events where presentation and reliable food hold are equally important. It is best matched to low-to-medium throughput carving points. Operations running continuous high-volume carvery service across extended periods may find a heavier-duty or multi-lamp configuration better suited to the demand placed on it.
If you are planning a carvery counter or want to talk through how this station fits within a wider servery setup, the team is happy to help you think it through before you commit.

The Hatco DL-750-RL is a radiant heat lamp designed to hold plated or portioned food at serving temperature during the window between kitchen preparation and service. It is commonly used above carving stations, waitress pickup counters, carvery servery points, and front-of-house food displays where maintaining both food temperature and presentation quality matters.
The retractable coiled cord is one of the more practical features on this lamp. It extends and retracts to suit different counter heights and service configurations, allowing adjustment for a carving joint one service and repositioning for a display of hot dishes the next. The switch is located on the lamp head itself, keeping control straightforward for front-of-house staff without the need for remote wiring runs.
In operational terms, radiant heat lamps perform best when positioned correctly above the food. Too high and the heat dissipates before reaching the plate; too low and you risk uneven or harsh direct heat on uncovered dishes. The DL-750-RL is intended to hold food that is already at serving temperature rather than reheat from cold — which is the correct application for this type of equipment.
- Retractable cord allows quick height adjustment between different service setups
- On-lamp switch keeps controls accessible without remote wiring
- Suited to carving stations, servery counters, and waitress pickup points
- Available in a wide range of finishes, shade styles, and mounting configurations
This lamp is stocked in glossy grey. Hatco produce the DL-750-RL across a broad range of powder-coated, gloss, and plated finishes with multiple shade styles and mounting options. If a specific configuration is needed to match an existing servery scheme, non-stock variants typically carry a lead time worth factoring into any fit-out schedule.
The DL-750-RL suits smaller servery operations and front-of-house carving stations where a single lamp provides adequate coverage. For longer servery runs or higher-throughput carvery operations, a multi-lamp arrangement or a higher-output unit may be more appropriate. If you are fitting out a new servery or replacing an existing heat lamp setup and are unsure which configuration suits your counter layout, the team is happy to talk it through before you order.

The Parry C3LU is a freestanding electric servery lamp unit designed to maintain the temperature of carved meats and hot dishes during active food service. Three overhead infrared heat lamps direct warmth downward onto the servery shelf, and a glass sneeze guard provides a practical hygiene barrier between the food and the customer. The unit is constructed in stainless steel throughout, in line with Parry's established commercial build standards.
Infrared lamp units of this type are a familiar and dependable fixture at carvery stations, buffet lines, and assisted service points across hotels, pub restaurants, schools, and contract catering environments. During a busy lunchtime or dinner sitting, the overhead lamp configuration helps keep food at a safe serving temperature across the shelf area without drying out carved joints in the way that enclosed holding equipment can. The freestanding, plug-in design means the unit can be positioned where it is needed and repositioned between service periods without difficulty.
From a practical standpoint, the C3LU offers a number of clear operational advantages at the pass or servery counter:
- Maintains carved meats and hot dishes at safe serving temperatures throughout service
- Glass sneeze guard supports food hygiene compliance at open servery points
- Stainless steel construction wipes down quickly between services
- Plug-in operation requires no fixed installation or dedicated electrical supply
- Compact footprint suits servery counters where space is limited
The C3LU requires only a standard mains socket — no gas supply or fixed electrical connection is needed. It is worth confirming that your servery area has adequate socket provision before ordering. It is also worth noting that this unit is best understood as a temperature maintenance and presentation aid during active service, rather than a primary hot-holding solution for extended periods or high-volume all-day buffets.
This unit is well suited to smaller carvery operations, pub restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and school or workplace catering environments where a clean, portable servery display is required without the commitment of a built-in heated counter. For higher-volume or all-day service environments where more substantial heated holding capacity is needed, a larger-format unit may be a better fit.
If you are unsure whether this unit suits your service style or counter layout, the team is happy to talk it through with you.

The Moffat FTG2 is a countertop hot servery unit that pairs a heated flat top surface with an illuminated overhead gantry. It is designed for front-of-house food holding and display in commercial settings where food needs to be maintained at safe temperatures and presented clearly to guests throughout a service period.
The top surface uses toughened glass Thermopanel elements that distribute heat evenly across the full serving area, which reduces the risk of cold spots that can compromise food safety during extended holding. Surface temperature is automatically controlled and fixed against unauthorised adjustment, removing the need for staff to intervene during service. The overhead quartz-heated gantry adds radiant top heat alongside illumination, keeping plated or displayed food warm while presenting it clearly at the point of service.
In practice, units of this type perform consistently in environments where food is held ready for periods rather than cooked to order. Carvery counters, hotel breakfast operations, pub and restaurant buffets, school and workplace dining, and event catering setups are all common applications. The controlled surface heat makes it straightforward to maintain food safety compliance across a sustained service without drawing on staff attention.
- Even-heat Thermopanel surface reduces cold spots across the display area
- Fixed automatic temperature control removes the need for staff monitoring
- Illuminated quartz gantry improves food presentation at the point of service
- Countertop format allows flexible positioning within a servery layout
- GN-compatible panel sizing integrates with standard gastronorm service equipment
As a countertop unit, the FTG2 requires a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight and a suitable electrical supply in close proximity. If you are planning to run multiple units in a row, it is worth confirming your available counter run and power provision before ordering, as both affect layout and installation planning.
This unit is well suited to mid-sized operations running a buffet or carvery service on a regular basis. For very large servery runs or high-volume venues with more demanding throughput requirements, a wider-format or heavier-duty model may be a better match. Equally, for smaller or occasional-use setups, a lower-specification unit may be more proportionate to the task.
If you are configuring a new servery counter or want to confirm the FTG2 fits around your existing layout and power supply, the team is happy to talk through the detail before you place an order.

The Victor HDU30Z is a British-made countertop heated display unit designed for food servery and carvery applications. It accommodates three full-size gastronorm pans on a slimline stainless steel base, with an illuminated gantry above and a built-in sneeze guard to protect food and maintain presentation throughout the service period.
In a servery environment, consistent temperature retention from the start of service to the last cover is a basic but non-negotiable requirement. The HDU30Z addresses this with quartz heat lamps in the gantry warming food from above while the base maintains temperature from below. Independent controls for the base and gantry allow operators to adjust heat levels to suit different menu items without affecting the whole unit — a practical advantage when running a mixed hot display. The quartz lamps are operator-changeable, keeping routine maintenance straightforward and reducing the risk of unnecessary downtime during service.
- Independent base and gantry controls for flexible temperature management across dishes
- Illuminated gantry improves food visibility and presentation at the counter
- Sneeze guard protects food hygiene throughout service without impeding access
- Operator-changeable quartz lamps keep maintenance simple and low-cost
- Standard 13-amp plug connection — no hardwiring or dedicated supply required
Installation requires nothing beyond a standard 13-amp socket. The unit arrives with a two-metre cord and sits directly on a countertop, making it straightforward to position within an existing servery layout. Before ordering, it is worth confirming that your counter has sufficient depth to accommodate both the gantry and sneeze guard assembly comfortably.
The HDU30Z is well suited to restaurants, hotels, schools, and contract catering sites running a traditional carvery, hot buffet, or single-station front-of-house servery. It performs reliably in moderate-volume environments. For operations requiring greater gastronorm capacity or running multiple heated stations simultaneously, a heavier-duty heated display would be worth considering.
If you are unsure whether this unit fits your counter space, service style, or volume requirements, our team is happy to talk it through before you commit.

The Lincat HB4 is a freestanding, electrically heated display base designed to hold a standard GN 1/1 pan at a safe serving temperature throughout service. A built-in thermostat lets operators adjust the heat output to suit whatever is being held — roast meats, vegetables, sauces, or carved joints — rather than running everything at a fixed setting.
In a working servery environment, this kind of unit earns its place by doing one thing consistently well: holding food at temperature without constant attention. The ability to dial the heat up or down matters in practice, particularly when different food types share the same counter during the same service period. Running a delicate sauce at the same setting as a carved joint rarely ends well — thermostatic control gives you the flexibility to avoid that.
From an operational standpoint, the HB4 offers several straightforward advantages:
- Thermostatic control lets heat be matched to the food being held
- GN 1/1 compatibility works with most existing servery pans and lids
- Adjustable feet allow levelling across uneven counters or servery surfaces
- Clean, low-profile design keeps the focus on food presentation
- Robust enough for daily use in a busy commercial servery
Setup is simple — the unit sits on a counter and requires a standard mains electrical connection. Before ordering, it is worth checking that a suitable power point is within reach of your intended position and that the unit's footprint fits comfortably within your counter arrangement. The adjustable feet give some practical flexibility across different surface configurations.
The HB4 suits smaller carvery operations, café hot counters, hotel breakfast serveries, and similar settings where a single GN pan holding position covers the service requirement. Operations running longer servery runs or several concurrent holding positions may find a multi-section or higher-capacity arrangement a better fit for their throughput.
If you are unsure whether the HB4 matches your servery layout or typical service volumes, the team is happy to talk it through with you.
£719.00(£862.80 inc VAT)
The Parry C4LU is a freestanding electric carvery lamp unit designed to hold carved and portioned hot food at serving temperature throughout service. Four overhead infrared heat lamps are mounted above a stainless steel servery shelf, with a glass sneeze guard providing a hygienic barrier between food and guests. It is a single-station piece of equipment built around one clear purpose: keeping food warm at the point of service without continuing to cook it.
In a busy carvery or buffet setting, consistent temperature management at the carving station directly affects food quality and guest experience. The four-lamp arrangement provides broad, even radiant heat coverage across the shelf, helping maintain a consistent surface temperature on joints and portioned cuts throughout the service period. Because the unit is fully portable and requires only a standard electrical connection, it can be positioned where it is needed and repositioned between services without difficulty.
From a practical standpoint, the C4LU offers several straightforward operational advantages:
- Even infrared coverage keeps carved meats warm without overcooking exposed cuts
- Glass sneeze guard meets front-of-house hygiene requirements for guest-facing display
- Stainless steel construction throughout is easy to wipe down between services
- Portable design allows flexible positioning within different servery layouts
- Electrical-only connection — no gas or water supply required
Setup is uncomplicated. The unit requires a suitable electrical supply and a stable, level surface capable of supporting its weight. There are no fixed installation prerequisites given its portable nature, though it should be kept away from water sources and is not intended for outdoor use.
The C4LU is well suited to pub carveries, hotel restaurants, care homes, and similar operations running a traditional roast or carvery service at a single station. It is a practical choice for moderate guest volumes rather than a high-throughput multi-section heated display. For larger serveries handling higher covers across a wider counter, a broader or higher-capacity unit would be worth considering.
If you would like guidance on whether this unit is the right fit for your servery layout and typical service volumes, the team is always happy to talk it through.

The Victor TL is a countertop hot lamp unit designed for front-of-house food service. It combines a heated stainless steel base with an overhead three-lamp gantry, each lamp fitted with a copper-effect shade housing an infra-red heat bulb. The unit is intended to keep plated or portioned food at acceptable serving temperatures while remaining visible and accessible to guests and service staff throughout the service period.
In a busy servery environment — carveries, buffet counters, hotel food stations, staff restaurants — maintaining food temperature without drying out the product is a genuine operational challenge. The infra-red lamps deliver directed radiant heat from above while the heated base works from below, providing reasonable temperature retention across the service run. Because the lamps and base are independently switchable, heat output can be adjusted to suit what is being held and how long service is expected to run, which is a practical consideration when the menu changes between sittings.
From a day-to-day operational standpoint, the unit offers several clear advantages:
- Independent switching on base and lamps allows flexible heat control during service
- Infra-red bulbs are straightforward to replace without tools or specialist knowledge
- Height-adjustable acrylic sneeze guard supports food safety compliance at open counters
- Stainless steel construction cleans down efficiently between service periods
- Supplied with a 13amp plug on a 2-metre cord — no dedicated electrical installation required
As a 13amp plug-in unit, setup is uncomplicated. You need a standard socket within reach and a stable, level counter surface with sufficient depth to accommodate the gantry safely. There are no water connections, extraction requirements, or specialist commissioning involved. It is worth confirming the footprint and gantry clearance height against your counter specification before ordering.
This unit is well suited to operations running open food displays where visual presentation and temperature retention during service are priorities: carveries, roast counters, buffet stations, and similar settings. It is appropriate for moderate service volumes. For very high-throughput operations or extended hold periods, a heavier-duty or larger-format unit may be a better fit for the workload.
If you would like to talk through whether this unit suits your servery layout and service volumes before ordering, we are happy to help.
£3,898.00(£4,677.60 inc VAT)
The Hatco DCSB400-3624-2 is a front-of-house carving and servery station designed to present and hold carved joints, roasts, and similar dishes at consistent serving temperatures throughout buffet or carvery service. It combines a heated Swanstone base with an adjustable thermostat with a pair of decorative overhead heat lamps finished in nickel, a glass sneeze guard, and a matching cutting board — everything needed to run a self-contained live carving station.
The dual-source approach addresses a straightforward challenge in carvery service: every time a joint is sliced, the cut surface is exposed to ambient air and loses heat quickly. Warming from below and radiant heat from above work together to slow that temperature drop during active carving, helping food reach the plate at a consistent temperature. The adjustable base thermostat is a practical asset when the menu changes across a service period, allowing operators to dial in an appropriate holding level for different cuts. It is worth being clear that this is a holding and display unit, not a cooking or regeneration appliance — food must arrive at the station already fully cooked and at temperature.
From an operational standpoint, the station offers several practical advantages:
- Dual-source heating reduces temperature variation during active carving
- Adjustable base thermostat accommodates different cuts and portion sizes
- Glass sneeze guard provides a hygiene barrier without obscuring the display
- Removable cutting board contains juices and protects the Swanstone surface
- Nickel lamp finish presents well in formal dining, hotel, and banqueting environments
Installation is straightforward by the standards of heated servery equipment — the unit requires a mains electrical supply for both the base and the lamps, with no gas or water connections involved. It is designed to sit on a stable, level surface such as a buffet counter, carving trolley, or dedicated servery table. Before installation, it is worth confirming that the supporting surface can carry the unit's weight, particularly if it is to be used on a mobile trolley. The sneeze guard and Swanstone base clean in place; the cutting board removes for separate washing.
This station is well suited to hotels, country clubs, restaurants, and event caterers running a carvery or live carving format where the visual presentation of the station is as important as its holding function. For very high-volume continuous operations, a heavier-duty heated display unit may be worth considering alongside this model.
If you would like to talk through whether this station fits your counter layout or service format, the team is happy to help before you place an order.
£192.00(£230.40 inc VAT)
The Buffalo carving station heating lamp is a freestanding infrared heat lamp designed to keep carved meats, roasted joints and buffet dishes at a safe and presentable serving temperature during front of house service. It is a straightforward piece of equipment — a single infrared lamp on an adjustable arm, finished in polished stainless steel to sit comfortably alongside carvery, buffet and self-service counters.
In a busy service environment, the lamp performs a simple but important role: maintaining food temperature between carving and plating, which supports food safety compliance and reduces waste during extended service periods. The adjustable lamp head allows heat to be directed precisely where it is needed, which is particularly useful when presenting irregular cuts or working over a large serving platter where heat distribution matters.
From an operational standpoint, the practical advantages are:
- Plug-and-play setup — requires only a standard 13A mains socket
- Adjustable head for precise heat direction over the serving area
- Polished stainless steel finish suits front of house presentation standards
- Straightforward to clean down between services
- Stable footprint at 14kg, but portable enough to reposition between services
Setup requires no hardwiring or specialist installation. It is worth noting that the infrared bulb is sold separately — using an incompatible or incorrect lamp will affect heating performance, so it is worth confirming the correct bulb before ordering.
This lamp is well suited to hotels, pub restaurants, care homes and any operation running a carvery or buffet service where food needs to be held at counter or table level. It is a single-lamp unit, so for larger carving counters or higher-volume operations where a wider heat spread is needed, a multi-lamp gantry arrangement would be worth considering.
If you are unsure whether a single lamp will cover your counter adequately, or have questions about positioning alongside sneeze screens or serving equipment, our team is happy to talk it through before you order.
