The William Edwards Celestine beverage pot lids are replacement and spare lids designed specifically for use with the Celestine connoisseur beverage pot range. Produced in fine bone china, they carry the same pinstriped detailing and iridescent celestial blue finish as the rest of the Celestine collection, ensuring a consistent presentation at the table. They are supplied in a pack of six.
Fine bone china is a practical choice for front-of-house beverage service. It offers a good level of chip resistance relative to its weight, which matters when lids are being handled repeatedly during service and wash-up cycles. The finish retains its appearance well under regular commercial use, which helps maintain the quality of presentation that a collection of this style is intended to deliver.
These lids are suited to hotel dining rooms, fine dining restaurants, afternoon tea service, and any hospitality setting where beverage presentation is part of the guest experience. Having a stock of spare lids available is practical in any operation where beverage pots are in continuous rotation — lids are among the more frequently replaced components in a china beverage service.
It is worth confirming compatibility before ordering. These lids are designed to fit the Celestine connoisseur beverage pot and should not be assumed to fit other pots within the wider Celestine range without verification.
If you are building out a full Celestine table setting or need guidance on quantities for your service covers, the team is happy to help you work through what you need.
£159.00(£190.80 inc VAT)
These lids are part of the Celestine collection by William Edwards, designed specifically to fit the Celestine snipe sugar bowl. Made from fine bone china, they carry the same pinstriped detailing and iridescent finish as the rest of the range, ensuring a consistent, coordinated look across the table.
Fine bone china is a practical choice for front-of-house tableware. It offers a good level of chip resistance relative to its weight, which matters in busy restaurant environments where pieces are handled frequently during service and clearing. The lids sit securely on the snipe bowls, keeping loose sugar hygienic between covers and reducing the need for constant restocking during service.
The 12-pack format suits the realities of restaurant purchasing — operators typically need multiples to cover a full section, allow for breakages, and maintain a consistent set over time. Buying by the pack rather than individually keeps stock levels manageable and replacement straightforward.
These lids are well suited to restaurants, hotels, private dining rooms, and any front-of-house setting where presentation matters and a coordinated china pattern is in use. They are designed exclusively for use with the matching Celestine snipe sugar bowl and are not interchangeable with other bowl shapes or sizes.
If you are building out a full Celestine table setting or have questions about quantities for your covers, our team is happy to help you work through what you need.
£311.00(£373.20 inc VAT)
The William Edwards Celestine beverage pot is part of a fine bone china collection designed for formal and premium hospitality settings. The pattern combines pinstriping with an iridescent lustre finish that shifts subtly with the viewing angle, giving the range a distinctive table presence without being ostentatious. At 450ml, the pot is a practical size for individual tea or coffee service, and the collection is well suited to venues where table presentation is as important as service efficiency.
Fine bone china offers a good balance of refinement and durability. The material is lighter than many alternatives while still carrying a quality feel in the hand, and the high-temperature glaze produces a hard, smooth surface that holds up reasonably well through repeated dishwasher cycles. That said, as with all fine china, careful handling remains important in busy clearing and pot-wash environments — the glaze is chip-resistant, not chip-proof.
- Fine bone china construction — refined appearance with practical weight
- Iridescent lustre finish that reads well across different lighting conditions
- Dishwasher safe for straightforward turnaround in service
- Microwave safe, supporting flexibility in beverage preparation
- Supplied in a pack of six, suitable for consistent table setting across a section
The Celestine range is primarily suited to hotels, fine dining restaurants, afternoon tea services, and any venue where tableware is expected to complement the wider dining experience. It is less suited to high-volume, fast-turnover environments where breakage rates would make fine china a costly choice. The range is available in other pieces, so operators building a full cover setting may wish to consider the broader collection for consistency.
If you are building out a table setting or matching across a larger covers requirement, the team is happy to advise on quantities and pack sizes before you commit to an order.
£251.00(£301.20 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the character of wood-fired ceramics without sacrificing the durability demands of professional table service. Each piece carries intentional reactive glazing, meaning no two plates are identical — colour shifts, subtle highlights, and edge variation are built into the design rather than being incidental. The Ember colourway sits in a warm, earthy palette well suited to contemporary and informal dining environments.
At 152.5mm, these are side plate and starter plate dimensions, practical for bread service, amuse-bouche, small sharing portions, or dessert presentation. The coupe profile — no rim — keeps the visual focus on the food and simplifies plating for kitchen teams working at pace. The pack size of 24 makes it a sensible purchase for a mid-sized section or as a consistent top-up quantity for larger operations.
In operational terms, the porcelain body is built to handle the rigours of commercial use:
- Dishwasher safe for straightforward end-of-service turnaround
- Suitable for microwave, oven, and freezer use, supporting flexible service styles
- Semi-matte glaze resists surface staining and dulling over repeated wash cycles
- Reactive finish means minor surface variation is expected and does not indicate a fault
- Pack of 24 supports consistent cover counts without overstocking individual pieces
It is worth noting that the reactive nature of this glaze means colour and surface detail will vary between individual plates. For operators who require exact uniformity across a table set, this range may not be the right fit — but for venues where a handcrafted aesthetic is part of the dining concept, that variation is the point.
If you are building a full table setting around the Fire range or need guidance on matching pieces across different pack sizes, the team is happy to help you plan your order sensibly.
£340.00(£408.00 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon and produced by Steelite Performance. It takes visual cues from wood-fired ceramics — the kind where no two pieces come out of the kiln exactly alike — and translates that aesthetic into a commercially practical porcelain body. The Ember colourway sits within that tradition: earthy tones, subtle colour shifts across the surface, and edge details that give each plate a handmade character without the fragility of true studio pottery.
In service, that reactive glaze means natural variation from piece to piece, which tends to work well on tables where that informal, artisan quality is part of the dining experience. The porcelain construction is sufficiently robust for regular restaurant use — resistant to everyday knocks, staining, and the thermal cycling that comes with moving tableware between prep, service, and the wash. The 230mm diameter is a useful side plate or starter plate size, practical across a range of menu formats.
Practically, these plates are suited to the full run of commercial kitchen conditions:
- Compatible with commercial dishwashers for efficient turnaround between covers
- Oven and microwave safe, allowing flexible plating and finishing workflows
- Freezer safe for cold prep and pre-plated dessert applications
- Semi-matte glaze resists surface staining under regular service conditions
- Supplied in a case of 24, reducing the need for frequent reordering
This range is well suited to casual dining, neighbourhood restaurants, and any operator looking to introduce a tactile, hand-crafted feel to the table without sacrificing durability or wash performance. If you are building a full table setting or need to assess whether this range sits well alongside other pieces in your current crockery selection, our team is happy to talk it through.
£279.00(£334.80 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio range is designed by potter Sam Gordon to bring the character of hand-crafted, wood-fired ceramics into commercial table settings. Each piece is intentionally reactive, meaning no two plates are identical — subtle colour shifts, tonal highlights, and natural edge variations are part of the design, not inconsistencies to be avoided. The Ember colourway sits in warm, earthy tones that complement a wide range of food styles and table presentations.
In practical service terms, these 160mm deep coupe plates are sized well for starters, side dishes, small plates, and sharing portions. The deep coupe profile contains sauces and dressings without the formality of a traditional lipped plate, which suits casual dining and contemporary plating styles equally well. Despite their artisan appearance, the porcelain body is built to withstand the demands of a busy service operation — resisting chipping, staining, and the thermal stress of repeated dishwasher cycles. They are suitable for use in freezers, ovens, and microwaves, which simplifies both prep workflows and mise en place.
- Reactive glaze gives each plate a distinctive, individual finish
- Dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe — suited to full-cycle kitchen use
- Deep coupe profile works well for starters, sides, and small plate menus
- Durable porcelain construction helps resist everyday wear and chipping
- Supplied in a pack of 24, practical for initial cover builds or supplementing existing stock
The 160mm diameter is a considered size — useful for smaller courses but not a substitute for a main plate. Operators building a full cover set will want to assess whether additional sizes from the Fire range are needed alongside this plate.
The Fire collection is well suited to restaurants, bistros, hotel dining rooms, and wine bars where the tableware is expected to contribute to the overall aesthetic. It sits comfortably in settings that lean towards a natural, artisan, or farm-to-table identity, though the quality of the porcelain means it holds its own in more polished environments too.
If you are putting together a full table setting or want to discuss quantities for a specific cover count, the team is happy to help you work through what you need.
£198.00(£237.60 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon to bring the character of hand-crafted, wood-fired ceramics into a professional tableware format. Each piece carries intentional reactive glazing, meaning no two plates are identical — subtle colour shifts, tonal highlights, and organic edge variation are part of the design rather than imperfections. The Ember colourway sits in warm, earthy tones that complement a broad range of plating styles.
In a busy service environment, the appeal of artisan-looking tableware often runs up against the practical demands of a commercial kitchen. The Fire plates address this directly. The porcelain body is built to resist the everyday wear of high-volume service — knocks, stacking, and repeated washing — while the semi-matte glaze holds its character without showing the premature dullness that affects lower-quality reactive finishes. Supplied in a pack of 12, they are sized at 280mm, making them a workable choice for main courses, sharing plates, or structured plating presentations.
From an operational standpoint, these plates are straightforward to integrate into existing service and cleaning routines. They are suitable for use in the freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, which reduces handling complexity during prep and post-service cleaning.
- Compatible with freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher use
- Reactive glaze produces natural variation across each piece
- Porcelain body resists staining, chipping, and general wear
- 280mm diameter suits main course and contemporary plating formats
- Supplied in a pack of 12, suited to front-of-house par levels
These plates work well in casual-dining restaurants, gastropubs, and contemporary café environments where the visual texture of hand-crafted tableware contributes to the overall guest experience. For operations running very high covers or requiring larger pack quantities, it is worth discussing volume requirements with us before ordering.
If you are building out a tableware range or matching across a new menu concept, our team is happy to talk through what will work best for your service style and cover count.
£301.00(£361.20 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire collection is a collaboration with potter Sam Gordon, designed to bring the aesthetic of hand-thrown, wood-fired ceramics into a format that works in professional service environments. Each plate carries intentional reactive glaze effects — subtle colour variation, tonal shifts, and natural edge detail — so no two pieces are exactly alike. The Ember colourway sits within that palette: earthy, warm, and well suited to contemporary plating styles.
These are 170mm plates, practical for starter portions, small plates, desserts, or as part of a sharing concept. Supplied in packs of 24, they give operators a working service set from a single purchase. The porcelain body provides everyday resilience — resistant to chipping, staining, and the general wear of repeated service and warewashing. Being suitable for freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher use, they move through the full cycle from prep to pass to wash without issue.
For operators, the practical advantages include:
- Consistent reactive glaze finish that reads as handmade without the fragility of studio pottery
- Porcelain construction resists staining and surface wear over prolonged service use
- Compatible with freezer, oven, microwave, and commercial dishwasher
- Pack of 24 provides a workable service quantity in a single order
- Distinctive presentation well suited to small plates, sharing menus, and tasting formats
There are no specialist installation or storage requirements beyond standard tableware handling. As with any reactive glaze, minor variation between pieces is a feature of the design rather than a defect — worth bearing in mind when briefing front-of-house staff.
These plates are a sensible choice for restaurants, hotels, and casual dining venues looking to add visual character to their table settings without compromising on serviceability. If you are building out a full table setting or want to discuss quantities, our team are happy to help you work through the options.
£184.00(£220.80 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire plate is part of a range designed by potter Sam Gordon, drawing on the visual character of traditional wood-fired ceramics. The intention is to replicate the organic quality of hand-crafted pottery — reactive surface effects, subtle tonal variation, and irregular edge detail — within a format built to withstand the demands of professional table service. These plates are supplied in the Ember colourway in a pack of twelve, each measuring 260mm in diameter.
The porcelain body gives each piece a practical durability that belies its artisan appearance. The semi-matte glaze is resistant to staining and surface wear, which matters in a busy dining environment where plates cycle through service, dishwashers, and stacking multiple times a day. The reactive finish also means minor surface variation between pieces is part of the design, not a quality concern — something worth communicating to front-of-house staff.
From a practical standpoint, these plates are well suited to operators who want a handmade aesthetic without sacrificing operational reliability. Key points worth noting:
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Porcelain construction resists chipping and staining under regular service conditions
- Reactive glaze produces natural variation — each piece is visually distinct
- Sold in packs of twelve, which suits bulk ordering for restaurant covers
- Semi-matte finish holds well under repeated commercial washing cycles
These plates are a sensible choice for restaurants, bistros, and hotels looking to introduce a craft-led aesthetic to their table setting without moving to fragile or impractical pieces. The 260mm diameter makes them versatile across starters, mains, and sharing plates depending on the menu format.
If you're building a full table setting around the Off Grid Studio range or need guidance on cover counts and pack quantities for your service, the team is happy to help you work through the numbers.
£229.00(£274.80 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon and takes its inspiration from the character of wood-fired ceramics. Each piece is intentionally reactive, meaning no two plates are identical — subtle colour shifts, natural highlights, and distinctive edge detail give the range the feel of hand-crafted stoneware while retaining the consistency and durability expected from commercial tableware. The Ember colourway sits in warm, muted tones that work particularly well with rustic, contemporary, or farm-to-table dining concepts.
These deep coupe plates are well suited to a range of plated dishes. The coupe profile and deeper bowl make them practical for composed mains, pasta, risotto, or dishes with a sauce element, giving chefs the surface area to plate confidently without spillage risk during service. Supplied in a pack of twelve, they are a practical quantity for equipping a section or refreshing covers on a single table run.
From an operational standpoint, the porcelain construction is built to withstand the demands of busy service — resistant to chipping, staining, and the general wear that comes with daily handling, stacking, and machine washing. They are suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use, which supports flexible kitchen workflows from prep through to pass.
- Reactive glaze finish gives each plate an individual, hand-crafted appearance
- Deep coupe profile suits sauced dishes, pasta, and composed mains
- Durable porcelain resists chipping and staining under regular commercial use
- Compatible with dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer
- Pack of twelve supports practical cover planning and section restocking
This range is a reasonable choice for independent restaurants, bistros, or hotel dining rooms where aesthetic consistency and durability both matter. If you are building out a full cover count or want to discuss how the Fire range fits alongside other pieces in the Off Grid Studio collection, the team is happy to help you work through the quantities and mix.
£323.00(£387.60 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the character of wood-fired ceramics in a format built for commercial service. Each piece carries intentional reactive qualities — subtle colour shifts, natural highlights, and slightly irregular edge details — giving the impression of handmade pottery while retaining the consistency and durability expected from a professional tableware manufacturer. The Ember colourway sits in warm, earthy tones that work well across a range of cover styles.
In day-to-day service, the porcelain body provides the kind of robustness needed in a busy front-of-house environment. The semi-matte glaze resists staining without sacrificing the tactile, artisan quality that makes the range visually distinctive. These tall bowls are suited to sharing plates, ramen, noodle dishes, and deeply sauced or broth-based mains where a conventional shallow bowl wouldn't contain the portion effectively.
Practically, the range removes some of the usual trade-offs between aesthetic and operational convenience:
- Passes through commercial dishwashers without degrading the glaze finish
- Suitable for oven, microwave, and freezer use — supports flexible prep and service workflows
- The reactive surface means minor marks and micro-scratches are far less visible than on plain white ware
- Supplied in a case of 24, appropriate for stocking a section or managing breakage replacement across a larger operation
The 175mm diameter suits generous single-serve portions. For operators running smaller tasting portions or larger sharing formats, other sizes within the Fire range may be a better fit for the menu.
If you're building a cover scheme around the Off Grid Studio collection or want to confirm this bowl suits your portion sizes and service style, our team is happy to talk it through.
£251.00(£301.20 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the unpredictable, characterful finish associated with wood-fired ceramics. Each plate carries subtle reactive colour shifts, tonal variation and edge detail that give the appearance of hand-crafted stoneware while being produced to the consistency and durability standards operators need in a commercial setting. The Smoke colourway sits in warm, muted tones that work well with a broad range of plating styles.
These coupe plates are built on a porcelain body with a semi-matte glaze, which offers better chip and stain resistance than earthenware alternatives. The coupe profile — low-rimmed with a broad, flat surface — suits a wide range of plating approaches from composed starters through to small sharing portions, and the 152.5mm diameter positions them well as a starter, side, or tapas plate rather than a main course cover.
From a practical standpoint, the range is cleared for freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher use, which reduces handling complexity during prep and service. The pack format of 24 is a useful unit for operators building or topping up a cover count, and the reactive glaze finish tends to disguise minor surface wear over time better than a uniform high-gloss alternative.
If you are building a full table setting around the Fire range or need guidance on matching pieces, cover quantities, or how the Smoke colourway sits alongside other collections, we are happy to talk it through before you order.
£301.00(£361.20 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire plate is a porcelain side or starter plate designed by potter Sam Gordon for Steelite Performance. The range draws on the visual language of wood-fired ceramics — intentionally reactive glazing, subtle colour variation, and uneven edge character — to produce a piece that reads as handcrafted while being manufactured to the tolerances and durability standards that commercial service demands. The Smoke colourway sits in a muted, earthy palette that works across a wide range of plating styles.
In practical terms, the Fire plate performs as a reliable everyday workhorse. The porcelain body is built to resist the routine wear that comes with high-cover service — chipping at the rim, surface staining, and the general attrition of a busy wash cycle. The semi-matte glaze retains its character through repeated dishwasher use without the surface degradation that can flatten the appearance of reactive finishes over time.
Key practical points for operators:
- Dishwasher safe — suitable for high-temperature commercial glasswashers and dishwashers
- Oven, microwave and freezer compatible, supporting flexible prep and service workflows
- Reactive glaze finish means no two plates are identical, adding visual interest to the table
- Supplied in a catering pack of 24, practical for stocking a section or buffet station
- Porcelain construction resists staining and everyday knocks better than earthenware alternatives
As a 170mm plate, this sits at the smaller end of the dining plate range — well suited to bread, amuse-bouche, petit fours, or sharing plates rather than as a primary dining plate for mains. It is worth considering your cover count and breakage replacement requirements when deciding how many packs to order; Steelite's ranges typically offer broader size options if a larger or smaller format is needed.
If you are building a full table setting around the Off Grid Studio collection or need guidance on pack quantities for your service style, the team is happy to help you work through it.
£400.00(£480.00 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio is designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the character of hand-thrown, wood-fired ceramics in a format built for professional service. Each piece carries intentional reactive glaze effects — subtle colour shifts, natural highlights, and varied edge detail — so no two plates look entirely identical. The result is a table setting with genuine craft appeal that doesn't rely on operators sourcing individual artisan pieces.
These deep coupe plates are sized at 235mm, making them well suited to starter and side dish presentations, or as part of a coordinated main course cover where a shallower profile is preferred. The porcelain body is robust enough to withstand the repetitive handling, stacking, and thermal cycling that are part of normal commercial service. The semi-matte glaze resists staining and holds up to regular machine washing without losing its character.
- Dishwasher safe — compatible with commercial rack and conveyor machines
- Oven, microwave, and freezer safe — moves between prep and service without separate handling
- Reactive glaze finish adds visual interest without requiring careful hand-sorting by staff
- Supplied in a pack of 24 — practical quantity for a mid-sized cover count or initial range trial
The Ember colourway works well alongside natural, earthy tableware palettes and suits informal dining, contemporary bistro, and farm-to-table concepts. It is worth considering how the reactive variation reads across a full cover — some operators choose to pair it with plainer supporting pieces to let the glaze work stand out.
If you're building out a full cover or matching across multiple plate formats within the Fire range, it's worth a conversation with the team to make sure quantities and formats work together before placing an order.
£198.00(£237.60 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio is designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the appearance of wood-fired ceramics — a process where unpredictable kiln conditions naturally produce variation in colour, surface texture and edge character. Each piece in the range is intentionally reactive, meaning no two items are identical. The result is a tableware range that reads as genuinely hand-crafted on the pass, even at volume.
These 280mm presentation plates in the Smoke colourway are well suited to restaurants and casual dining operations where plate presentation forms part of the overall guest experience. The semi-matte glaze and organic edge detailing work particularly well with small plates, sharing dishes and modern bistro-style menus where the tableware is expected to complement the food rather than disappear beneath it.
Despite the artisan aesthetic, these plates are built for the rigours of professional service. The porcelain body is designed to resist chipping, staining and the general wear that comes with high-turnover covers and commercial dishwasher cycles. They move from freezer to oven to microwave without issue, which keeps prep and plating flexible during service.
- Durable porcelain construction resists chips and staining under regular commercial use
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer — practical across the full service cycle
- Reactive glaze finish ensures genuine variation between pieces for an authentic, hand-crafted look
- 280mm diameter suits sharing plates, starters and modern small-plate presentations
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for consistent table covers or staged rollout
Supplied in packs of 12, these plates are practical for operators building a consistent front-of-house look or supplementing an existing Fire collection. If you're unsure whether the 280mm size or the Smoke colourway is the right fit for your menu format and cover count, we're happy to talk it through before you order.
£229.00(£274.80 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio range is the work of potter Sam Gordon, developed to bring the character of hand-thrown, wood-fired ceramics into a commercially viable tableware format. The Smoke colourway delivers an earthy, muted tone with the kind of organic surface variation — subtle colour shifts, reactive highlights, softened edges — that signals considered table presentation without relying on decoration or pattern. These are deep coupe plates at 280mm, suited to main course plating with good well depth for sauced dishes.
In service, the porcelain body performs reliably under the conditions a busy kitchen demands. The semi-matte glaze resists the staining that can quickly degrade the appearance of lighter tableware in high-turnover environments, and the construction is robust enough to handle repeated commercial dishwasher cycles without the glaze crazing or the rim chipping prematurely. Oven and microwave compatibility also means these plates can be used in warming or finishing applications, which is useful in kitchens where plated dishes move through more than one stage before reaching the pass.
- Reactive glaze finish gives each plate individual character without hand-finishing costs
- Semi-matte surface resists staining under repeated use and dishwashing
- Compatible with freezer, oven, microwave, and commercial dishwasher
- Deep coupe profile suits sauced mains, pasta, and composed plating styles
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for stocking a section or building a full table cover
These plates suit restaurants, boutique hotels, and independent dining operations where tableware is part of the overall aesthetic rather than purely functional. The 280mm format positions them as a main plate for most service styles, though operators running larger tasting portions or more generous mains may want to consider a larger format. The pack of 12 works well as a starting point for a single section; higher-volume sites may want to order in greater quantity to allow for attrition over time.
If you're building a full table cover around the Fire collection or want to discuss what quantities make sense for your covers and service style, the team is happy to help you work through it.
£279.00(£334.80 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire range is a collaboration with potter Sam Gordon, developed to bring the character of wood-fired, hand-crafted ceramics into a format that works reliably in commercial service. Each piece is intentionally reactive in its finish, meaning no two plates carry identical colouring, highlights, or edge detail. The Smoke colourway sits in muted, earthy tones that read well against a range of food styles and table settings.
In practical terms, these are 160mm deep coupe plates — a useful size for starters, small plates, sharing portions, or desserts. The deep coupe profile gives a modest well, which helps contain dressings and sauces without the formality of a traditional rimmed plate. Supplied in a pack of 24, the quantity suits a section or a small to mid-sized restaurant looking to build or extend a cover set.
The porcelain body is finished with a semi-matte glaze that contributes to the hand-crafted aesthetic while remaining practical for day-to-day use. Key operational properties include:
- Dishwasher safe, supporting standard back-of-house cleaning routines
- Suitable for microwave, oven, and freezer use, giving flexibility across prep and service
- Porcelain construction helps resist staining, chipping, and everyday wear
- Reactive glaze means natural variation between pieces — appropriate for the style, worth noting for operators who prefer uniformity
The 160mm diameter is well suited to small plate or starter use. Operators running larger main course covers may want to consider whether a larger format within the Fire range would better fit their needs.
If you are building a full cover set from the Off Grid Studio collection or need guidance on quantities for your service volume, the team is happy to help you work through it.
£340.00(£408.00 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon and produced by Steelite Performance. The range draws on the aesthetic of wood-fired ceramics — a process defined by high-temperature kilns, unpredictable flame movement, and reactive glazes that produce results no two pieces share exactly. The outcome is a plate that carries the character of handmade pottery while being built to the practical standards commercial hospitality demands.
Each plate in the Fire range is finished with a semi-matte glaze that produces natural colour variation, subtle tonal shifts, and edge details that give the range its handcrafted quality. In a dining environment, that individuality reads well on the table — particularly in settings where the presentation is intended to feel considered rather than uniform. The Smoke colourway works well with a wide range of food styles and plating approaches.
From a practical standpoint, the porcelain body is designed to handle the demands of regular commercial service. The plates are suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use, which supports flexible working patterns across prep, service, and turnaround. The construction is intended to resist chipping, staining, and everyday wear in line with what operators expect from Steelite's commercial tableware ranges.
- Reactive glaze finish gives each plate individual character on the table
- Porcelain body suited to the rigours of regular commercial service
- Compatible with dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Supplied in a pack of 24, practical for stocking a full section
- Smoke colourway works across a broad range of cuisine and plating styles
This size works well as a starter or side plate, and sits comfortably within a mixed-format table setting. For operations needing larger main plates or additional pieces to build out a full cover, the wider Off Grid Studio Fire range includes complementary sizes and forms.
If you're building a new table setting or adding to an existing range, we're happy to talk through quantities, mix-and-match options, or suitability for your service style.
£400.00(£480.00 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio is a range of porcelain tableware designed by potter Sam Gordon. Drawing on the aesthetic of wood-fired ceramics, each piece is produced with an intentionally reactive glaze that creates natural variation in colour, surface highlights, and edge detail. No two plates look identical, which is the point — the collection is intended to bring a handcrafted, artisan quality to plated service without sacrificing the durability expected in a commercial environment.
These deep coupe plates are supplied in a case of 24 and finished in a Smoke colourway — a muted, earthy tone that works well as a neutral backdrop for a broad range of cuisines. The semi-matte glaze and organic surface variation suit contemporary casual dining, independent restaurants, and any operation where the visual presentation of tableware is part of the overall guest experience.
From an operational standpoint, the porcelain construction is practical for busy service:
- Suitable for dishwasher use, supporting a fast turnaround between covers
- Oven and microwave safe, allowing flexibility in how plates are used during service
- Freezer safe for operations that pre-plate desserts or cold starters in advance
- Resistant to staining and everyday wear from repeated commercial use
- The deep coupe profile provides a defined well suited to sauced dishes and composed plating
As with any reactive-glaze ware, buyers should be aware that colour and surface variation between pieces is a deliberate characteristic of the range, not a quality inconsistency. This is worth considering when planning table settings where a uniform appearance is expected.
If you're building a tableware scheme and would like to talk through how Fire sits alongside other elements of your cover — or whether the depth and diameter suit your menu style — we're happy to help you work through that before you order.
£184.00(£220.80 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire plate is part of Steelite's collaboration with potter Sam Gordon, drawing on the aesthetic of traditional wood-fired ceramics. Each piece is produced with an intentionally reactive glaze, meaning no two plates are identical — colour shifts, highlights, and edge character vary naturally across the range. The Smoke colourway sits in muted, earthy tones that work well alongside both modern and rustic plating styles. These are supplied in a pack of twelve, making them a practical choice when building or refreshing a consistent cover set.
Despite the hand-crafted appearance, the plates are built from a durable porcelain body suited to the demands of regular commercial service. The semi-matte glaze resists staining and everyday wear, and the plates are compatible with dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use — a practical combination that supports a straightforward workflow from prep through to service and cleaning.
- Reactive glaze produces natural variation in colour and surface detail across each piece
- Porcelain body offers good resistance to chipping, staining, and daily wear
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Supplied in a pack of twelve for consistent cover sets
- Smoke colourway suits contemporary and rustic plating presentations
At 260mm, this plate sits in a versatile size range — appropriate for starters, mains, or sharing plates depending on portion style. The organic surface texture and tonal variation make it a considered choice for operators where presentation is central to the dining experience, such as independent restaurants, boutique hotels, or chef-led concepts.
If you're building a full table setting or want to discuss which pieces from the Off Grid Studio range work well together, we're happy to help you put the right combination in place.
£251.00(£301.20 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire range is a collaboration with potter Sam Gordon, designed to bring the aesthetic of wood-fired, hand-crafted ceramics into commercial tableware. Each piece carries intentional reactive glazing — subtle colour variation, natural highlights, and individual edge character — so no two plates look identical. The Timber colourway sits in earthy, warm tones that complement contemporary plating styles across a range of cuisine types.
Despite the artisanal appearance, these are made for the rigours of professional service. The porcelain body is built to resist everyday knocks, surface wear, and staining — all of which matter when plates are cycling through a busy kitchen multiple times a day. The semi-matte glaze holds its character through repeated washing without the rapid dulling common to thinner decorative finishes.
- Reactive glaze produces individual character on each plate
- Porcelain construction resists chipping and staining under daily service
- Compatible with freezer, oven, microwave, and commercial dishwasher
- Supplied in a pack of 24, suited to full section restocking
- Coupe profile with a clean, contemporary rim line
At 152.5mm diameter, these are side plate or starter plate sized — useful for amuse-bouche, bread, small plates menus, or dessert courses. They are not a main course plate, so it is worth considering how they sit alongside larger pieces in your existing cover set. Being freezer and oven safe, they can move between prep and service without a transfer step, which is a practical advantage in tighter operations.
This range suits restaurants, boutique hotels, and independent venues where plate presentation is part of the dining experience, and where operators want a point of difference without sacrificing practicality. If you are building a full cover set or matching across multiple plate sizes within the Fire range, it is worth discussing the broader collection before placing an order.
£323.00(£387.60 inc VAT)
The Fire collection from Steelite's Off Grid Studio range is designed by potter Sam Gordon to bring the character of hand-thrown, wood-fired ceramics into a commercially viable format. Each piece carries intentional reactive glazing — subtle colour shifts, tonal variation, and organic edge details — so no two bowls look entirely identical. The result is tableware that reads as considered and handcrafted on the table, without the fragility or inconsistency of true artisan pottery.
These tall bowls are well suited to casual dining, sharing concepts, and contemporary plating styles where the vessel is part of the dish's presentation. The semi-matte Smoke finish works across a range of food colours and plating styles, and the reactive surface adds visual interest without drawing attention away from the food itself. Supplied in a pack of 24, they offer a practical quantity for a section or a full pass refresh.
Operationally, the porcelain body is built to handle the demands of a working kitchen:
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Porcelain construction resists chipping, staining, and everyday wear
- Reactive glaze finish is consistent enough for matching across a cover count
- 24-piece pack quantity suits section-level stock or gradual fleet replacement
- Semi-matte surface holds well under commercial dishwasher cycles
As with any reactive-glaze product, there will be natural variation between pieces — that is by design. If precise uniformity across every cover is a requirement, it is worth viewing a sample before committing to a full order. For venues running high covers or where bowl attrition is significant, the pack quantity and pricing are worth considering against your replacement cycle.
If you are building a full table concept around the Off Grid Studio range or matching bowls across multiple pack sizes, the team are happy to talk through options before you place an order.
£340.00(£408.00 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon and produced by Steelite Performance. The range takes its cues from wood-fired ceramics — a process where the kiln atmosphere directly shapes the character of each piece — and translates that aesthetic into a durable porcelain body built for commercial service. The result is a plate that reads as genuinely handcrafted without the fragility or inconsistency that hand-thrown pottery would bring to a busy kitchen environment.
Each plate in the Fire range is intentionally reactive, meaning the semi-matte glaze responds during firing to produce subtle colour variation, tonal shifts, and edge detail that differ slightly from piece to piece. This is a deliberate design characteristic rather than a quality control variable, and it gives the Timber colourway a natural, organic quality that works well on rustic, contemporary, and farm-to-table covers alike. In a service context, the variation reads as considered rather than mismatched.
From a practical standpoint, the porcelain construction is well suited to the demands of restaurant and café service. The plates are compatible with freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher use, which supports straightforward movement through prep, service, and the pot wash without special handling. The body is designed to resist everyday wear, staining, and the kind of minor knocks that accumulate in a busy pass.
- Reactive glaze gives each plate a distinct, natural character
- Porcelain body handles repeated dishwasher cycling reliably
- Timber colourway suits a wide range of cover styles and cuisines
- Supplied in a pack of 24, practical for standard section restocking
This plate is a good fit for independent restaurants, bistros, boutique hotels, and any operation where the tableware is expected to contribute to the overall dining experience rather than simply carry food. If you are building a full table setting from the Fire range or want to discuss cover counts and pack quantities before ordering, the team is happy to help you work through the numbers.
£184.00(£220.80 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire plate is a porcelain side plate designed by potter Sam Gordon for Steelite Performance. The range takes its visual cues from wood-fired ceramics — a process where the kiln demands constant attention and the results are never entirely predictable. That unpredictability is the point. Each plate carries its own subtle colour variation, reactive glaze highlights, and edge detail, meaning no two pieces are identical. The Timber colourway sits in warm, earthy tones that complement a wide range of table settings.
Despite the hand-crafted aesthetic, these plates are built for the realities of busy service. The porcelain body is robust enough to withstand the daily demands of a working restaurant environment, resisting staining, surface wear, and the inevitable knocks of a fast-paced pass. The semi-matte glaze holds up well under repeated dishwasher cycling without losing its character over time.
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Reactive glaze gives each plate a distinct, individual appearance
- Porcelain construction resists chipping and staining under regular service
- Timber colourway works well across contemporary and rustic table styles
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for covers-based ordering
These plates are well suited to restaurants, gastro pubs, boutique hotels, and any operation looking to move away from plain white tableware without sacrificing practicality. The 260mm diameter positions them comfortably as a side or starter plate in most service contexts. For operations requiring a full range across multiple cover sizes, Steelite's Off Grid Studio Fire collection extends across further plate sizes and supplementary pieces.
If you're building a new table setting or expanding an existing one and want to talk through how the Fire range fits your concept, we're happy to help you work through the options.
£301.00(£361.20 inc VAT)
The Off Grid Studio Fire collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon and produced by Steelite Performance. The range draws on the aesthetic of wood-fired ceramics — a process where the kiln demands constant attention and the results are inherently unpredictable — to create tableware that carries genuine visual character. Each piece is intentionally reactive, meaning no two items are identical. Subtle colour variation, tonal shifts, and uneven edge detail are part of the design rather than a quality concern.
In a service environment, that handcrafted appearance works well on plates where visual presentation matters. The Timber colourway sits in a warm, earthy palette that complements a range of plating styles, from rustic and casual to more considered fine-casual dining. At 170mm, this is a side plate or small starter plate size — useful as a bread plate, a small sharing dish, or a dessert plate depending on the cover style.
Practically, the porcelain body is built to Steelite's commercial durability standards, which means it is designed to withstand the stacking, handling, and repeated dishwasher cycles that characterise busy restaurant or hotel operations. The glaze resists staining and is suited to freezer, oven, and microwave use, which gives kitchen teams flexibility during prep and service without needing to transfer food between vessels.
- Supplied as a case of 24, reducing per-unit cost and providing adequate cover for a standard section
- Dishwasher safe and suitable for oven, microwave, and freezer use
- Reactive glaze finish — natural variation between pieces is inherent to the design
- Semi-matte glaze with a tactile, craft-influenced surface
This plate size is well suited to smaller covers, side servings, or as part of a wider Off Grid Studio table setting. If you are building a full cover from the range or need to confirm case quantities against your projected covers, the team is happy to talk through what makes sense for your operation.
£323.00(£387.60 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio is a porcelain tableware collection designed by potter Sam Gordon to replicate the unpredictable, characterful finish of traditional wood-fired ceramics. Rather than uniform glaze, each piece carries its own reactive surface — subtle colour variation, tonal shifts, and edge detail that give the impression of hand-thrown studio pottery. The Timber colourway sits in earthy, warm tones that work well alongside natural materials and understated table settings.
These tall bowls are supplied as a pack of 24, making them a practical quantity for a full restaurant section or a smaller operation building its cover count. The 175mm diameter makes them well suited to sharing plates, deep starters, pasta, or ramen-style dishes where a wider, deeper vessel adds to the presentation. The reactive glaze means no two bowls are identical, which is a considered aesthetic choice rather than a quality inconsistency — operators should set that expectation with front-of-house teams.
Beneath the artisan appearance, the bowls are built from a durable porcelain body and carry Steelite's standard resistance to chipping, staining, and the rigours of commercial dishwashing. They are rated for freezer, oven, and microwave use, which gives kitchen teams useful flexibility during prep and service without needing to transfer between vessels.
- Dishwasher safe — suitable for high-frequency commercial cycles
- Oven, microwave, and freezer compatible for flexible prep and service
- Reactive glaze gives each piece a distinctive, individual character
- Durable porcelain construction resists everyday commercial wear
- Supplied in a 24-piece pack for practical stock management
If you are building a table concept around the Off Grid Studio range or want to discuss mixing bowl sizes and formats across a menu, the team is happy to talk through what works in practice.
£198.00(£237.60 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon, drawing on the visual character of traditional wood-fired ceramics. Each plate carries intentional reactive glazing — subtle colour variation, tonal shifts, and edge detail that give individual pieces a handcrafted quality while being produced to the consistent standards a commercial operation requires. The Timber colourway has an earthy, warm quality that works well with contemporary plating styles.
In service, these 280mm presentation plates are a practical size for main courses and sharing plates alike. The porcelain body is durable enough for high-turnover covers, and the semi-matte glaze resists staining without sacrificing the aesthetic. They move comfortably through a standard commercial dishwasher cycle and are suitable for freezer, oven, and microwave use, which reduces handling steps between prep and service.
- Reactive glaze finish gives each plate a distinctive, handcrafted appearance
- Durable porcelain construction suited to busy restaurant environments
- Dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe for flexible kitchen use
- 280mm diameter works well for mains, sharing dishes, and composed plating
- Supplied in a pack of 12, practical for building or topping up cover sets
There are no unusual storage or handling requirements beyond standard tableware care. As with any reactive-glaze piece, natural variation between plates is part of the design intention rather than a quality concern — worth noting when briefing front-of-house staff.
These plates suit restaurants, bistros, and hospitality venues looking to add visual texture to their table setting without moving away from reliable, operationally sound tableware. If you're building out a full cover set or need guidance on quantities for your service volume, the team is happy to help you work through it.
£400.00(£480.00 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio is a porcelain tableware collection designed by potter Sam Gordon. It draws on the visual character of wood-fired ceramics — intentional reactive glazing, subtle colour variation, and irregular edge detail — to create pieces that read as handcrafted while retaining the practical durability that commercial service demands. The Timber colourway gives each plate a warm, earthy quality that sits comfortably across a range of table settings, from casual dining to more considered plating.
These deep coupe plates are well suited to starters, sharing plates, and dishes where a slightly raised edge helps contain sauces or dressings without the formality of a rimmed profile. Because the reactive glaze means no two pieces are entirely identical, they work particularly well in settings where an artisanal or informal aesthetic is part of the dining experience.
As practical as they look, the porcelain body is built to hold up under normal commercial handling:
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Resistant to chipping and staining under regular service conditions
- Reactive semi-matte glaze gives natural variation without compromising durability
- Supplied in a pack of 24, practical for both stocking and replacement ordering
One consideration worth noting: because each piece is intentionally reactive, colour and surface detail will vary within the pack. This is by design, but operators who prefer a uniform look across the table should factor that in when choosing.
These plates are best suited to independent restaurants, hotel dining rooms, and hospitality venues where the aesthetic of the tableware contributes to the overall experience. If you're building a full cover and need guidance on quantities or complementary pieces within the range, our team is happy to help you work through the options.
£229.00(£274.80 inc VAT)
The Fire range from Steelite's Off Grid Studio collection is designed by potter Sam Gordon to bring the aesthetic of wood-fired, hand-crafted ceramics into a commercially viable tableware format. Each piece features an intentionally reactive glaze finish, meaning no two plates are identical — slight colour shifts, tonal highlights, and edge variations are characteristic of the range rather than a defect. The Timber colourway draws on the warm, organic tones associated with traditional wood-kiln pottery.
In service, the 280mm deep coupe format works well as a main plate across a broad range of dishes, with the depth of the well providing practical containment for sauced or dressed plates. The porcelain body is built to withstand the demands of regular commercial use, offering reasonable resistance to chipping, staining, and the wear that comes with high-volume covers. The semi-matte glaze holds its appearance well under repeated dishwasher cycles, which matters in kitchens running plates through multiple services daily.
Practically, the range is designed to move between kitchen environments without restriction:
- Suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer use
- Reactive glaze finish masks minor surface marks better than high-gloss alternatives
- Supplied in a pack of 12, supporting consistent table presentation
- Porcelain construction resists staining from sauces and acidic dressings
- Intentional variation between pieces suits informal, artisan-style dining concepts
This plate is well suited to restaurants, bistros, and hospitality venues where the visual style of the tableware forms part of the dining experience. The 280mm diameter is a practical main-course size for most menu formats. For operators covering larger portions or wide-rimmed plating styles, it's worth considering whether a larger format would better suit the kitchen's presentation needs.
If you're building a new table setting or mixing pieces across a range, the team are happy to talk through options — feel free to get in touch before placing a larger order.
